Somewhere between 6,205 and 6,935 days ago we
were born.
And the world seem ed so big, new, and
challenging.
About 1,460 days ago we began high school.
And everything seem ed so big, new, and
challenging.
We've sp en t a lm o st 720 d a ys o f our lives in
these halls.
Taking notes and tests, learning new facts, or
catching up on our sleep.
Through it all w e gained the knowledge that m ade

Approxim ately one m inute ago we looked out into

And though we've learned a lot during these 720

It’s About Time
It’s always about time these days. How much
time we’ve spent, how much time we have left,
how much time we are wasting or wasted, how
much time has gone by while you were waiting
to get this yearbook. It has definitely taken a
large amount of time to get this book done,
but rather than blame certain people or even
groups of people, we will simply leave you
with the idea that there was just not enough
time in the school year to get the yearbook
done. It’s here now though and the only thing
we can imagine you have been thinking is, ‘it’s
about time.’

It’s a cheap shot of
course, but when it
came to creative
expression, we could
hardly resist. These
are two pictures of
some of the seniors
who helped put the
yearbook together.
The top picture is Mike Speciale, the editor. The
second picture is Krista Szsfranksi and Jesse
Marion. We just thought you would like to
know a few of the people who started this tre
mendous endeavour, but obviously did not stick
around to clean up the mess.

True Grit. Emily Adkisson with the broken FieLd Pay
arm and Shannon Considine hustle to the
finish line in the three legged race on Field Day. Field Day, is the one day Bishop McGuinness students can
compete both physically and spiritually.
Some of the events in Field Day included: Dodge Ball,
Parachute Volleyball, Water Jug Race, Human
Wheelbarrow Race, as well as the famed Tug-O-War.
Senior Rob Fithian puts perfectly the overall feeling
of Field Day. “Whenever I think of Field Day I get a warm
fuzzy feeling inside.”
The competi veness of Field Day puts on a display of the
Bishop McGuinness spirit. Even though no self
gratification award can be given, students go out full
throttle to come out on top on this once a year occasion.
“It’s kind of like the Olympics but not really” says Krista
Szafranski.
“What the...?” Freshman Chris Calaghan prepares to
get milked as he places the bucket beneath him.

was held on a warm
spring day on the
grounds of Bishop
McGuinness. Organized
by Mrs. Porter and Mrs.
Leavitt with the help of
many volunteers. Stu

show off their talent in
a variety of dramatic
ways. Along with a
tasty bake sale that was
held by the Creative E x

money for their organi

said, “I was really
amazed that people at

things than just play
sports. It was really up
