Dear Kristie
When we were blessed with a daughter one
day in September, seventeen years ago, we
were overjoyed. Our journey together began.
We never could have imagined how much love
and joy you would bring to our lives. You
have grown into a caring, bright, and beauti
ful young woman. Regardless of what you
have attempted you have always given 150%
of yourself. A new stage of your life is about
to begin. Put your years and the people at
Bishop behind you and don’t look back. A
new world is waiting for you in college. Make
new friends and reach for the stars. Be true to
yourself and follow your dreams. Remember
you’re never in this by yourself. We’ll
always be there for you if or when you need
us. We are so blessed to have you as a
our daughter. Know that it is only our hands
now that are letting go. You will be in our
hearts forever. Be happy and don’t forget to
come home every once in a while.
Love,
Mom & Dad

That I not be a restless ghost :
Who haunts your footsteps as they pass
Beyond the point where you have left me standing
in the new sprung grass.
You must be free to take a path
Wliose end I feel no need to know,
No irking fever to be sure
You went where I would have you go.
So you can go without regret
Away from this familiar land.
Leaving your kiss upon my hiiir
And all the future in your hands.

I love you Meredith with all my heart.

.4 Live each day to the fullest. Get the most from each hour, each day,
and each age of your life. Then you can look forward with confidence, and
I f)4 S e n k T rA cfe back without regrets ... Be yourself - but be your best self.
Dare to be different and to follow your own star ... and don’t be afraid to be
happy.
Enjoy what is beautiful. Love with all your heart and soul. Believe
that tho.se you love, love. When you are faced with a decision, make that
decision as wisely as possible - then forget it. The moment of absolute
certainly certainly never arrives.
Above all, remember that God helps those help themselves.
Act as if everything depended upon you, and pray as if everything de
pended upon God.
