YULE TIMEWinter CarnivalYuletide Magic Unfolds at ‘Yule Time Winter Carnival’Festive cheer swept through the Lotus Valley campus as the much-awaited ‘YuleTime Winter Carnival’ transformed the school into a sparkling Christmaswonderland on 13 December. Twinkling lights, festive décor, and melodious carolsset the mood, complemented by vibrant performances and lively bands. Colourfulstalls, festive food counters, thrilling rides, games, and popular attractions such asTambola and Musical Chairs kept spirits high. With students, parents, grandparents,and alumni joining in, the carnival emerged as a joyful celebration of community,togetherness, and the enduring magic of Christmas.

YOUNG LEADERS SUMMIT 2025The greatest leaders are ordinary people with the courage to act onextraordinary ideas.Day 1 of the Lynkube Young Leaders Summit at Lotus Valley began on aharmonious note with the Symphony of Melodies, followed by a heartfeltWelcome Address by Director-Principal Ms. Anita Malhotra, who remindedlearners that ‘leaders aren’t always the loudest, they are the ones who lift othersup.’ The Keynote Address by Dr. Jitin Chadha, Founder and Director of IIAD,inspired the audience to ‘be comfortable with uncomfortable’ and view everychallenge as a stepping stone to growth.The morning then transitioned into a soulful dance performance titled Rhythm inMotion – Rebirth, symbolising the courage to rise, rebuild, and rediscover. Thiswas followed by the Exordium, delivered with poise by Mihika Sharma andSiddhansh, whose words beautifully set the tone for the day.The highlight of the day was the Panel Discussion on ‘From Bystander toUpstander – Everyday Leadership in Tough Times’. The distinguished panel—Dr.Jitin Chadha, Ms. Anubhuti Kaul Bhrany, Mr. Anirban Sarkar, Mr. Hari Krishnan,and Ms. Indrani Ghosh shared inspiring insights on leadership, authenticity, andadaptability. Ms. Bhrany emphasised the ‘power of clarity,’ Mr. Sarkar noted that‘leadership doesn’t need a title; it’s a mindset,’ while Mr. Krishnan and Ms. Ghoshreminded learners to evolve with time and ‘never live on past glories.’The day also featured a series of enriching workshops such as Cultivating aCreative Mindset, Giving Back to Society, Leading Without Labels, Moved byPassion, Driven by Purpose, and Strategic Thinking, conducted by expertsincluding Dr. Chef Parvinder Singh Bali, Mr. Anand Nanda, Ms. Shaweta Berry, Mr.Ashish Mansharamani, and Mr. Sumit Kumar. Each session encouraged learners tothink deeply about creativity, purpose, and lifelong learning.As the day drew to a close, participants carried home not just lessons butreflections on empathy, courage, and conviction, the true foundations ofleadership.

YOUNG LEADERS SUMMIT 2025The boldest ideas emerge when imagination dares to challenge theimpossible.Day 2 of the Lynkube Young Leaders Summit 2025 opened with HarmonicHorizons, a vibrant musical performance by the school band.The momentum continued with the TED Talk Competition, where twenty finalistsfrom Middle and Senior School presented original and thought-provoking ideas.Jury members Ms. Priyanka Dutta reminded the participants that this was thebeginning of a promising journey in leadership and Mr. Anant Rastogi praised thespeakers’ clarity and confidence.Following this inspiring exchange of ideas, learners dispersed across venues for aseries of career dialogues and workshops designed to deepen theirunderstanding of contemporary fields. These included sessions on Opportunitiesin the Financial Sector, a Roundtable on Sustainability, a Start-up-BuildingWorkshop, and a Masterclass on Personal Leadership led by visionaries– Mr. NitinSethi, Mr. Rony Saha, Ms. Priyanka Dutta and Ms. Aprajita Suud.The innovation challenge Pitch the Impossible followed, where teams proposedimaginative solutions for the future. Judges Ms. Nandini Taneja and Mr. Nitin Sethicommended the creativity and impact of the ideas presented.Post-lunch, learners engaged in additional workshops– exploring AI & Robotics,Inner Resilience, Decision-Making, and Leadership during Crises under theleadership of Mr. Shivam Singh Bhadauria, Ms. Shefali Singh, Dr. Debjani Roy andGroup Captain Shivankur Devesar.The day concluded with a spirited Closing Ceremony featuring the choirperformance Udaan, a reflective video montage, and the dance presentation GajGamini: Rhythm in Motion. LOTUS ECHOES 2025Literature: Staged and ScreenedLotus Echoes 2025 unfolded as a vibrant celebration of linguistic expression andcreativity, bringing together learners across grades in an intra-school fest themedaround Film, Theatre, and Literature. The English department conducted aspecially curated line-up of activities that nurtured the learners’ literary interests.Grade IV expressed their creativity through Mapping the Movie, crafting colourfulmind maps inspired by the animated movie Crow: The Legend. Meanwhile, GradeV brought cinematic imagination to life in Screen to Sketch, designing postersbased on The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. Grade VI showcased theatricalflair through Curtain Call Campaign, creating advertisements for imaginary plays.Storytelling evolved further in Grade VII with Script the Scene, wherein learnersadapted poems and stories into original screenplays. Grade VIII imagined wittyconversations with characters across eras in Texts Across Time, blending researchwith humour and creativity. Moving into the senior grades, Grades IX and Xjourneyed through Romanticism and Realism, engaging in poetry slam, filmanalysis, and reflective writing while Grades XI and XII delved into Modernismand Postmodernism, exploring their characteristic traits such as the stream-ofconsciousness narrative technique, irony and fragmentation - through diaryentries, discussions, movie screening and composition of Found poetry.From visual storytelling to poetic introspection, Lotus Echoes 2025 trulyembodied the spirit of creativity, collaboration and linguistic excellence.

KREATIVITY LEAGUE 2025Grades IV–XIIMinds in Motion: Highlights of Kreativity League 2025Kreativity League 2025 unfolded at Lotus Valley International School as a dynamiccelebration of imagination, technology and youthful genius. The event opened witha warm welcome and an inspiring address by Director-Principal, Ms AnitaMalhotra. A vibrant musical performance added artistic flair and set an energetictone for the day.Participants from Grades IV–XII then immersed themselves in a spectrum ofengagements- robotics challenges, coding tasks, STEMpreneur pitches andinnovative design modules. The campus buzzed with excitement as learners builtbots, crafted fresh ideas and showcased inventive thinking with confidence andcollaboration.The day culminated in a spirited felicitation ceremony honoring the qualifiers ofRobo-Quest Junior, including Satvik Tomar (Vivekanand School, Delhi); Srijal Dutta,Vyaan Dayal and Aarav Jain (St Xavier’s High School); Jai Yadav, Tanish Chutani andGagan Mehta (OLF Convent School); and Shaurya Choudhary (Lotus ValleyInternational School). In the Robo-Quest Senior category, the qualifiers—SakshamArora, Prabal Tanwar and Prajot Singh (Lotus Valley International School) andTaranpreet Singh Anand, Medhansh Gupta and Paarthi Mathur (VivekanandSchool)—were applauded for their outstanding technical prowess. TheSTEMpreneur qualifiers, Shweta Sethi and Vedika Marwah (Lotus ValleyInternational School), were also celebrated for their innovative entrepreneurialvision. All these teams now advance to the finale at IIT Delhi on 12th and 13thDecember.Gratitude was extended to the Director-Principal, Ms. Anita Malhotra, VicePrincipals, Ms. Ruchi Joshi and Ms. Monika Jasrotia, jury member Mr. Sunil Kumarand all participants for shaping a memorable celebration of creativity andintellectual curiosity.

CLASS ASSEMBLY Grade – IV (Chinars and Gulmohars)At Lotus Valley, celebrating diversity is alived experience, beautifully reflected inthe Grade IV class assemblies by Chinarsand Gulmohars titled “Safar-e-Sanskriti:India’s Priceless Heritage” and “Ekam –Many Hands, One Heart.” Learners tookthe audience on a vibrant journey acrosssix regions of India, showcasing corevalues such as courage, honesty, unity, andrespect for nature through confidentnarration, expressive dramatization, and aspirited dance performance on “Rang DeBasanti.” They highlighted the essence ofoneness through a Kabir doha, a soulfulenactment, nostalgic singing and anenergetic finale dance. Together, theassemblies celebrated India’s culturalrichness and reaffirmed that every child’svoice adds a unique colour to the sharedspirit of unity at Lotus Valley.

CLASS ASSEMBLY Grade IV AshokasGrade IV Ashokas brought the spirit of \"Acts of Kindness\" to life during their recent classassembly. Through the plays \"The Great Lunchbox Mystery\" and \"Billy the Former Bully,\"students illustrated the power of integrity and the beauty of second chances. Theatmosphere became invigorating with a soulful rendition of \"Lean on Me\" and a spiriteddance on \"Sitaare Zameen Par\". These performances highlighted how empathystrengthens our bonds and enriches our emotional well-being. By sharing these stories,the learners proved that a culture of compassion creates a positive ripple effect. Theevent served as a heartening reminder that even the smallest gesture can leave a lastingimpression.


Grade IV – Acacias presented anengaging class assembly on thetheme “The Newspaper ComesAlive” on 19th August 2025 intheir classroom. Our talentedyoung anchors warmly welcomedparents and took them on acaptivating journey through theworld of news, as learners donnedroles ranging from reporters toartists, bringing each newspapersection alive with witty headlines,dramatic acts, and informativesnippets. Parents activelyparticipated by sharing theirfavourite headlines, which wereproudly displayed on the colourfulWall of Headlines. CLASS ASSEMBLY Grade IV (Aspens & Banyans) Grade IV learners presented avibrant class assembly on thetheme “Heal the Earth, Say No toPollution,” aligned with theSustainable Development Goals.The programme opened withthoughtful messages highlightingthe urgent need to combatpollution, followed by a powerfulstreet play that depicted real-lifesituations and practical solutions.Two expressive danceperformances added depth to themessage—one addressing theharmful impact of plastic and theother, a self-choreographed pieceadvocating water conservation.Each segment reflected thelearners’ creativity, awareness, andsense of responsibility. Theassembly concluded as a strongreminder that collective action andmindful choices are key toprotecting our planet.


CLASS ASSEMBLYGrade IV – MahoganyThe learners of Grade IV–Mahogany presented aheartwarming class assembly on 14th November 2025on the theme “Rise and Shine.” reflecting theircreativity, confidence, and teamwork. It began with aprayer and thought for the day, followed by ameaningful skit emphasising the importance of healthyroutines and positive beginnings. A well-expressedpoem, “Every Morning is a New Beginning,” and agraceful dance on “Sitaare Zameen Par” celebratedhope and individuality. The assembly concluded as aninspiring reminder to welcome each day with discipline,optimism, and a cheerful spirit.

Through a vibrant blend of dance, music, anddrama, the young performers captivated the audience and set an energetic tone forthe morning. The presence of peers, teachers, and parents added warmth to theoccasion, while the Vice-Principal, Ms. Ruchi Joshi’s encouraging words inspired allpresent. The assembly stood out as a thoughtful celebration of creativity,collaboration, and socially aware young minds.

CLASS ASSEMBLYGrade IX (Aravallis & Nilgiris)On 13th November, Grade IXAravallis and Nilgiris presented theassembly ‘Time Travellers:Learning from the Past to Shapethe Future.’ Through narration,dramatization, and verse, learnershighlighted key milestones ofhuman progress and emphasizedlearning from the past to guide thefuture. The assembly concludedwith Vice Principal Ruchi Joshiappreciating the learners’creativity and reinforcing theimportance of using past wisdomto shape a purposeful future.


CLASS ASSEMBLYGrade IX - KametThe learners of Grade IX–Kametpresented a thought-provokingmorning assembly on 17th October2025 on the theme “Fantasy vsReality.” The programme began witha prayer, thought for the day, andnews headlines, setting the tone forreflection. A creative skit formed thehighlight, illustrating howimagination fuels dreams whilereality nurtures discipline,perseverance, and growth throughrelatable situations. DirectorPrincipal Mrs. Anita Malhotraappreciated the learners for theirconfidence, creativity, andcoordination. The assemblyconcluded with the National Anthem,leaving the audience inspired todream boldly while remaining firmlygrounded in reality.

A creative courtroom skit, “Social Media on Trial,”formed the highlight, while a self-composed poem, a melodious choir, and anenergetic dance reinforced the message of mindful digital engagement. DirectorPrincipal Ms. Anita Malhotra appreciated the learners’ initiative and urgedresponsible use of social media. The assembly concluded with the NationalAnthem, leaving the audience with a lasting reminder of balance, awareness, andpurpose in the digital age.

A short skit effectively portrayed therapid spread of misinformation and the need for critical thinking to distinguish factfrom falsehood. A melodious choir and an expressive dance performancereinforced the message of unity, clarity, and truth. Vice Principal Ms. Ruchi Joshicommended the learners and urged everyone to question, analyse, and verifyinformation. The learners of Grade X – Alps and Whitney presented a compelling morningassembly on the theme “Exploring the Unknown: The World of Space and Beyond.”Through a powerful blend of music, drama, and dance, the learners exploredhumanity’s enduring curiosity about the universe and its limitless possibilities. Athought-provoking skit highlighted space exploration as a symbol of scientificprogress, courage, and imagination. The choir and dance performance beautifullycaptured the mystery, vastness, and wonder of the cosmos. JAIPUR EXCURSION PROGRAMME Grades IV and VI“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”The learners of Grades IV and VI embarked on enriching educational trips to Jaipurbetween 26th and 30th September 2025, seamlessly blending learning withadventure. Grade IV students enjoyed a two-day stay at RockSport Camp, AchrolNiwas, engaging in activities such as a jungle safari, raft-building, and reflectivejournaling, while Grade VI learners explored Jaipur’s rich heritage through visits toJantar Mantar, City Palace, Albert Hall Museum, and Amber Palace, along with atraditional puppet show. Both groups visited a textile handloom factory to witnesstraditional dyeing and printing techniques and explored Rajasthani handicrafts atthe Emporium Arcade. Lively DJ nights added joy and bonding to the experience.The excursion offered meaningful cultural exposure, strengthened life skills, andcreated joyful memories beyond the classroom.
