TAMANA NAI DISHA VISITSeptember 29, 2025After the successful Bake Sale Fundraiser, which generated a substantialcontribution, the collected amount was personally handed over to Tamana Nai Dishaon 29th September, 2025. This entire initiative was beautifully guided and organisedunder the leadership of our Director Principal, Mrs. Anita Malhotra, who has alwaysbeen our guiding light. Her constant encouragement to contribute meaningfully tothe society and her motivation to take up community service initiatives inspire everystudent to step forward with compassion and responsibility. It was her vision andsupport that made the fundraiser and the visit to Tamana Nai Disha possible.Representing the school, Dishieta Hota (XII Archimedes) and Kabir Gupta (X Alps),accompanied by the teacher in-charge Dr. Suman Lata Yadav, visited the NGO andinteracted with the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri Awardees, Dr. Shayama Chonaand Tamana Chona. The visit included a guided tour of the institution, where thelearners witnessed the inspiring work being done to empower differently-abledindividuals through education and vocational training. CODE TO CREATIVITY: Unlocking Innovation In AI, CS & IPAn insightful session on “Code to Creativity” was held on 13th September 2025 atIIT Delhi’s Research & Innovation Park to enhance the teaching of CS, IP, and AI forthe students of classes XI–XII.Ms. Meenu Kumar demonstrated Orange Data Mining for AI and data visualization,while Prof. Naveen Kumar highlighted Python modular programming for efficientcoding.The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sandeep Solanki from OrangeEducation.The session was attended by the Computer Science Department of Lotus ValleyInternational School, Gurugram, including Ms. Kirti Hora (HOD, CS), Ms. JagmeetKaur, and Ms. Poornima Singh, who appreciated the practical insights andinnovative approaches shared during the event.
A Basic Life Support (BLS) workshop was conducted for the teaching staffon 4th October 2025 by Artemis Hospital, led by Dr. Shelly Mittal, ananaesthetist with over 25 years of experience. The session equipped teacherswith essential life-saving skills for school emergencies.Key topics included heart attack management, stroke recognition (BEFAST),choking, respiratory arrest, hypoglycaemia, seizures, drowning, anaphylaxis,use of the 112 emergency response system, and awareness of ACLS protocols.Practical demonstrations highlighted the importance of calm and promptaction.The workshop reinforced teachers’ role as first responders and the need forregular BLS training to ensure student safety.BASIC LIFE SUPPORT WORKSHOP Artemis Hospital

The session was led by Mr. Rohit Anand, Founder & CEO,and Ms. Jaya Gidwani, Director and Founding Team Member of Cyber Assure ServicesPvt. Ltd.Through real-life case studies, discussions, and demonstrations, the speakersemphasised cyber awareness, safe digital practices, and protection from onlinethreats. The workshop empowered educators to navigate the digital spaceresponsibly and guide learners towards becoming secure digital citizens.The session concluded with a lively quiz and games segment led by Mr. Ritvik, makingthe learning experience engaging and memorable.
