Nano Satellite Model Designing Competition

(Siswasat 2020) ONLINE
(March – October 2020)

Izmir Yamin (Leader) Four UNITEN students named themselves as Thorium
Master of Mechanical Engineering participated in a Nano Satellite Model Designing
Competition (Siswasat 2020).
Afiq Mohd Rashdi This National Level competition is organized by
Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Hons.) Malaysian Space Agency (MySA),
Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation
Zhafran Aiman Zulkarnain
Bachelor of Electrical Power Engineering (Hons.) (MOSTI) in conjunction with “Minggu Sains Nasional”.
The competition was opened to Higher Education
Solahuddeen Hibatur Rahman
Bachelor of Computer and Communication Engineering (Hons.) Institutions and also Secondary Schools with a total of
27 teams participated.

Thorium won first in the competition in The Best
Design Category and The Best Presentation Category.

Debat Nuklear Antara Varsiti 2020
(ONLINE)

(17-19 November 2020)

Four UNITEN students took part in “Debat Nuklear Antara
Varsiti 2020” Competition in conjunction with
International Nuclear Science, Technology and
Engineering Conference (iNuSTEC2020).

This National Level competition was organized by Malaysian
Nuclear Society.

Four Higher Education Institutions namely UiTM, UTM, UKM
and UNITEN participated in the debate competition.
UNTEN Team emerged Champion after defeating
UiTM Team in the final round. Mohamad Hakimi
was selected as The Best Speaker.
