Greetings Sorors:

I am delighted to extend greetings to you on the occasion of your 91st North
Atlantic Regional Conference where you have assembled under the theme,
Charm City Crescendo: Leading With A High Note. This regional
conference is especially significant because it marks the first time we have gathered
in person since the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 Pandemic in
March 2020. I am pleased that your dedication has not waned and that you have
remained committed to our sisterhood and to growing in Alpha Kappa Alpha by your
presence and participation in this regional conference. I also hope that you are as excited
as I am that we are able to safely gather in person.

As you assemble for the last regional conference under the Excellence Administration, I
want you to know how grateful I continue to be for the ways in which you have served
Alpha Kappa Alpha and your local communities under the Exemplifying Excellence
Through Sustainable Service international program. Because of you, Alpha Kappa
Alpha’s service footprint has expanded, our impact has deepened, and our sisterhood has
grown. Additionally, HBCUs have assumed their rightful place in the public discourse,
and our sorority sister, Soror Kamala D. Harris, now occupies the Vice Presidency of
these United States.

As we prepare to finish strong, I encourage you to immerse yourself in all that your
regional conference has to offer over the next few days so that you can become
better equipped to serve and to lead. I commend Regional Director Mary Bentley
LaMar for her tireless leadership during these unprecedented times. I also
commend your regional conference leadership team for the months of planning
devoted to ensuring the success of this conference.

Sorors, you continue to honor our great sisterhood with your service, and, for that love
offering, I am grateful. Enjoy your regional conference as, together, we continue
Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service.

Yours in Alpha Kappa Alpha Excellence,

Soror Glenda Glover

Greetings Sorors of the Notable North Atlantic Region,

On behalf of the Sorors of Cluster I, it is an honor and delight to serve as your Vice Chairmen for the 91st
North Atlantic Regional Conference which will be held in Baltimore, MD. Our theme of "Charm City
Crescendo: Leading with a High Note” will resound as we welcome you to Baltimore, MD, April 21 – 24,
2022.

From its founding in 1729, people of African descent have shaped the City of Baltimore politically,
culturally, and economically. African American Baltimoreans stood at the forefront of the Civil Rights
Movement, built lasting civic and religious institutions, and made transformative contributions to arts and
culture. The rich history of activism and resilience, the vibrant present and the bright future of Baltimore
mirrors our beloved sorority and provides the perfect backdrop for our conference.

We appreciate the vision and leadership of our Regional Director, Soror Mary Bentley LaMar, and
Conference Chairman, Soror Sharon B. Falby, as we plan an extraordinary experience aimed at giving you
opportunities to grow in leadership and continue the timeless service of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated®. We are planning engaging, informative, educational, and fun experiences for all.

Our goal is for you to fully engage yourself in the plethora of activities planned and rededicate yourself to
our collective commitment to provide Service to all Mankind. The conference will include exciting events
that include a Community Service Project designed to provide crucial COVID-19 testing and vaccinations
to the Baltimore community; and the Public Meeting which will honor individuals dedicated to community
service, civic engagement, and leadership. Pack your hats, heels or handbags for the Sisterhood Luncheon
and get ready to celebrate our Precious Gems at the DPGS Luncheon and our Undergraduate sorors at
the Undergraduate Luncheon. The Legacy Parade and Step, Stroll and Singsational are sure to hit a “high
note” at the conference. The workshops and institutes will inform us, the rededication ceremony and
ecumenical service will ground us, and your presence will ensure we are in “perfect pitch” with each other
and enjoying the radiance of sisterly love. The 91st North Atlantic Regional Conference promises to have
you rejoicing in harmonic splendor for years to come.

We look forward to seeing you in Baltimore, Maryland’s Charm City!
Sisterly,
