Money

Practicalities ATM's are usually open from 8.00 am until 11.00 pm,
and for slightly shorter hours at the weekends.
Most banks are only open from around 9.00 am to
3.0 0 pm (Monday to Friday). The yen is the currency
of Japan. Japan still very much operates on cash and
it can be problem atic to find a place to use
traveller’s cheques a n d /o r exchange currency. It is
