Sin Chai Cave Exploring Religious,

located at Ban Non Yai, Art and Cultural Works for Sustainable Cultural Tourism
Kham Pha-Ung Sub-district,
Pho Chai District. There has been ancient legend that Thao Sinchai
traveled to follow Nang Sumon Tha, a giant who was
kidnapped in the city of Ogre. He could win over the
fight and return back to his city. For travelling a long
distance, he dropped at this cave. “Sin Chai Cave” is
about 8 kilometers from Ban Non Yai.

Hin Sor Cave 157

Sub-district, Pho Chai Art and Cultural Works for Sustainable Cultural Tourism
District.

It is a rocky mountain with a complex cross sectional
area liking long balcony for 1 kilometer. The stone is
white, used to write slate likes a pencil. Therefore it
is known as Hin Sor Cave.

It is a hollow cave that likes a dark tunnel.
There is a path through the other side,
a distance of about 20 meters, takes about
30 minutes to tunnel through and is currently
the residence of thousands of bats.

Plowing Teaching School for buffalo is at Exploring Religious,
Ban Nong Thoeng, Mueang Roi Et District.
Art and Cultural Works for Sustainable Cultural Tourism
It is a village where farmers conserve traditional farming methods using buffalo plowing By Roi Et
Province Livestock Office supports. The goal of establishment of the school is to restoration of the
farming culture by using traditional buffalo plowing and preserving the way of life of the farmers,
to provide opportunities for youth. Moreover, in order to the general public can come to study the
way of life of farmers and how to teach buffalos to plow. In addition, there is a Pui Khok fund to
reduce agricultural production costs.

is a large reservoir.

The reason why called Nong San Hum was from the
Khmer enemy came to occupy the Hong city and forcibly
captured the prisoners of war that was under to the Lan
Chang kingdom to detain near Kut Khaen Creek, then men
would be cut their penises in order not to expand the race
and dumped into the swamp. For neighboring women,
there is a monument establishment. “The Godfather
of San Hum and “Sin Hean Goddess” to commemorate
commanders and prisoners of war.

อ�ำมาตย์เอกพระยาสุนทรเทพกิจจารักษ์ ( ทอง จันทรางศุ ) เป็นผู้ว่าราชการจังหวดั ร้อยเอ็ด ระหวา่ งวนั ที่ 1

กรกฎาคม 2469 ถึง 31 มกราคม 2471 เป็นนักปกครองและนกั พฒั นาท่มี ีผลงานเดน่ ชดั ปรากฏเป็นมรดกสบื ต่อ

ด้วยการร่วมแรงกายแรงใจในการพัฒนา ท�ำให้ชาวจังหวัดร้อยเอ็ดได้ส�ำนึกถึงคุณงามความดีของท่าน จึงได้

ก่อสร้างอนุสรณ์สถานไว้ ณ บริเวณเกาะกลางบึงพลาญชัย ปี พ.ศ. 2541 ทางราชการได้จัดต้ังสวนสมเด็จ

พระศรนี ครินทราบรมราชชนนแี ละได้สร้างพระบรมราชานุสาวรีย์สมเด็จพระศรนี ครินทราบรมราชชนนี ข้นึ ทบี่ ริเวณ

กลางบึงพลาญชัย จึงได้ย้ายอนุสาวรีย์พระยาสุนทรเทพกิจจารักษ์ไปไว้ ณ สวนสุขภาพบึงน้อยอยู่บริเวณหน้าวัด

บงึ พระลานชยั ซง่ึ อยู่ใกล้ ๆ ทเี่ ดมิ ณ ปจั จุบนั บงึ พลาญชยั อนั สวยงามที่เป็นผลงานของพระยาสนุ ทรเทพกจิ จารักษ์

176 Amat Ekphaya Sunthornthepkijarak (Thong Chantarangsu) is the governor of Roi Et Province
between July 1, 1926 to January 31, 1928. He was a governor and developer with outstanding

through and caused a fire. It is a beautiful town hall without spending any budget.

From his intention to develop Roi Et province at that time brought people to develop the

province by joining power in the development causing the people of Roi Et Province to realize his

goodness. Therefore there erected a monument at the center of Bueng Phalan Chai, in 1998.

The government established the Somdej 177
Phra Srinakarinagarindra Park and created
the royal monument of HRH Princess Exploring Religious,
Srinagarindra in the middle of Bueng Phalan
Chai. Thus his monument was moved to be Art and Cultural Works for Sustainable Cultural Tourism
at Bueng Noi Health Park in front of Bueng
Phalan Temple, which is near the original.

180 Srinagarindra, the committee of Somdet Phra Srinakarin

Garden Foundation had selected mountains, simulated
waterfalls in the island In the middle of Bueng Phalan Chai
which is part of Somdej Phra Srinakarin Park. It is enshrined
the royal monument of the King Sri Nakharin, the Princess
Mother (Somdet Ya), to be a memorial to the people of Roi
Et memories, which is enshrined at the center of Bueng
Phalan Chai, Roi Et province. Characteristics and sizes are
a royal residence sitting above the altar, cast by bronze.
The foundation stone was laid on October 20, 1997, the
monument pouring ceremony in October 1998, using
a total budget of 2.4 million baht.

is the son of Tao Chan Kaew was respectfully engaged
as the first governor of Roi Et in 1775,
during the reign of King Taksin. He is the great leader
in the creation of Ban Pang town by evacuating
people from the city of Thung to settle at Roi Et.
Phraya Khattiya Wongsa (Ton) was a very talented
person in the administration. He had gathered people
to restore, revive and preserve the city of Roi Et until
being unified and prosperous in the end.
It was located at the middle of the Sai Nam Phueng
intersection near the Roi Et Dance College.

“The State of the Kingdom of Siam”, is placed on a metal frame, about 1.2 meters highth and
has a hexagonal base to support the Wan Fah base. The base area of ​e​ ach side inscribes the
six main messages of the people, including independence, safety, equality, freedom, and
education. The construction of this constitutional monument was caused by the initiative of the
government officials and Lieutenant Colonel Phra Phaisan Vechagam, representatives of Roi Et
Province. It was completed in 1936.

the King for lasting forever.
