Pristine Pearls(1)_Neat

Ode To Mom

I close my eyes,

And listen harder,

Nothing spoken,

But something said,

No heavenly hug,

But from infinite miles,

A familiar tug.........

A touch,

From whom everything I learned,

A deity,

From whom I was born,

And a reality called ‘Death’

Which took away,

Her life’s breath!

Breathless

With each sunrise,

we strive to survive,

But meanwhile,

Forget to infact live!

Each moment running in a maze,

Collecting things, in a blind haze.

Glad to be ahead of few,

Saddened by being behind of few,

In our self view.

Let’s be still for a while,

Don’t worry

We won’t be behind, by any mile!

This life is not gifted to amass things

We won’t be so lucky,

To carry them along,
On final journey,

Where we all belong!
We appeared in this life cycle,

Empty – handed

Pristine Pearls | 3

First –thing we took,

Was to inhale, breath of air

And before we leave,
We have to return to breath,

And go breathless ................
That’s the crux!

Can’t carry even a whiff of air,

And have to leave,

With hands absolutely bare!!

All’s Well

When you approach so near,

To your deep rooted fear

Everything tends to stand still
Halting all your thought mill.

Nothing churns out
But visions of worse outcome

That shines even in dark dome.

You close eyes to block them,
Instead what runs out are tears,

Pure, liquid form of fears!
Trembling, you reach the crescendo,

Quivering, touch the memo,
And a big sigh of relief,

Assuring yours fear-ridden belief.

All is well,
Sings the heart,

Again, what runs out are tears,
But now winners over the fear.

And you silently utter,
‘Thank you. God Dear’.

Nature’s Bounty

Everyday, the day drowns in lap of night,

And without fail mornings leap,

From the deep caress of night.

We watch it each day,

But not live it, to really say!

Stand near a mountain,

Its enormity is obvious

Watch with intent the ocean,

Its infinity makes smaller your vision .

The untiring sun,

The vigilant moon,

Don’t take a break,

To go on a honey moon!

Unending sky towers on us,

But who has time to peep up,
from laptops, mobile and all fuss!

We are sitting rightly on girth of earth,
But are distancing ourselves,

From all wonders of nature and its mirth.

Pristine Pearls | 7

Dig into it

Watch it,

Feel it
It has unending marvels for us

Which are beyond googles grip,
And so virgin to human’s strip!

Nature has a lot to teach

And we humans need,

A lot to be taught,

But sadly all this can’t be bought,

With our hard earned credit cards!

Fish out some moments from life,

To be with mother nature,

And its stupendously rich pastures.

Our high tech life will seem

Less sauvy,

Before earth’s each aperture!

Love

Love is

When you can hear the unsaid

When you can see the unseen

When you can read the unwritten

You love truly

If you can decipher the silence

Sense the wishes

On other side of fence

If you could delve
Into the depth of "I'm alright"

If you could see the creases

On face smiling

With all might!!

Stippled Memories

A passing by song

And I go back long

A close to heart hum

And my heart murmurs,

A dear face emerges,

Heartbeat plunges

A memory peeps,

And soul jumps and leaps

From the curtain of life,
This memory took a strife

And travelled an era
On wings of a song!

How some songs and memories,

Get themselves stippled

On the sands of time elusive,

Clear yet so diffusive!

Innocent Times

In earlier times,

People rubbed stones,

To get embers of survival
Those people genuinely cared

And shared

Not to get anything in return,
But to be human,

On life’s every turn

They swam in life’s waters
Just to be afloat

Not to come first

By tumbling anyone’s boat

No gadgets to hold
But they had more to see,

Whatever nature used to upload

Simple times

A shy, sly smile
Confirmed a yes

Even from distant mile!

She

She or He?
A question you fill every time
S..................H....................E

Notice, He is within She
Takes birth from she

Yet tries to overpower her,
Questions her freedom

Sanctions her facilities
Puts veil on her face

Blinds at every place
Yet,
It’s the marvelous ‘She’

Who sets free

From the chains of mind tree
And embarks on a flight
Always set her sight

High above her plight.......
It’s she

Who comprises he
Makes him see

Who in real is she........!

Shades

The every second changing hue,

Every fraction of movement, altering colour

The every minute varying moods

Can you imagine,

What are these!

They are all shades of life,

Shade,

Which itself has infinite shades,

They are not intended to be made,

And are not meant to fade,

But such is their fate

Everyday you cross different states,

You wish for a good day’s starts,

And get lost,

In difficulties of life’s mart
There are slimmer's of hope,

There is twinkle of wishes,
There may be hint of fear,

Fear of obstacles,

Pristine Pearls | 17

That ensphere the way of success’s circle

There may be glimmer of smile

No matter, even if it is for a while
There are moments of optimism,

Alternating with the pessimistic ones.
All are shades, that reflect your self

Which are the exact mirror,

Of what you process,

And what you obcess!

These varying shades fade by

No matter, whether,

They leave their fragrance,

Even if shattering the hopes high,

Making you realize the errors,

And leaving you determined,

To fly yet high

My day’s shades remain with me,

Hurting me soothing me,

Charm me and entrance me,

Warm me and dance with me

The True Light

A prayer unanswered,

A dream shattered

Yet an infinite hope,

That doesn’t give up

And never elopes

A false promise

A dreamy world that looked nice

Held me for a moment too long,

So that I could not get along

The life’s truth,

The true reality that unfolded,

And unleashed the lies,

And it was so difficult,

To break from all ties

That were so near to heart
And probably the farthest,

In this world’s mart!
That bright sparkle of light,

Left behind a long, dark night,

Pristine Pearls | 19

But, let me optimize in thinking,

That, that first sparkle,

Was like an effort to light match stick
And it failed,

But on trying again,
A continuous light will lit on,

That will be true light,

Which will end this gloomy night,

And i wish, this might .............!

Once More

A diffused day,

Of suffused smiles

Soul tickling happiness
Making a day

Appear too less
A day with joys eminent

Faded away

Amid radius of sunset
The serendipitous today

Reluctantly
Shifted to yesterday

Exchanging dates
And many fates

A serene wish is,

Let this day unleash
And I can breathe

That yesterday
Once more,

To the core!

A Dear Place

The faint odour of roses in my hands,

My footsteps stippled in sand

Lead me to a place,

A stone,

A place I dread to see,

Yet a stone, I yearn to touch,

The dense memories engulf me,

When you were lowered,

Into this place
It was not easy to see,

my every part was prompting me to flee
but that sorrow was in my fate

your departure was something,

I couldn’t stop at any rate.

You were showered with petals,

Essenced with blessings,

Wishes for your next life,

Tears clogging their eyes and mine,

just running in infinite lines.

Pristine Pearls | 23

Now I'm standing on this place,

Where you are peacefully lying

And I ‘m acquising with the fate,
And sighing!

I place roses on your tombstone, using my every effort,
Not to mourn.

Because you might to seeing me,

Listening me

The difference now is,

You are immersed and engulfed

Within this earth

And I’m standing on its girth

Trying to feel you, touch you,

Listen you a bit!

My wishes, my love

For you will never end

No matter,

You are not in this world’s mart

there will be a place always

just for you, in my heart.

My Ultimate

These lanes of life,

These unsure dark passages

I don’t know

But I simply flow.

These passages lead on and on

And then sometimes seem

Dark and distant

Small and instant

At other times,
They are light and sure

To me they may lure.
At times, I hear the voice,

Voice which I can’t sense,

And is distantly dense

But its there,

Leading me to somewhere, some ultimate,

For which I may be late,

But is certainly in my fate.

I wait,

Pristine Pearls | 25

For that place

Which I feel, I sense, I know

Is made for me,
Is waiting for me.

May I see and flee,
To that ultimate,

That is meant just for me.

Closed Doors

This journey of life
Is not treaded
On carpet weaved
You zig zag your way

Through pebbles
Trying to look ahead
Afar till the road ends
But the serpentine way
Limits your vision
Only till the next bend

Inhued with prizes
Or surprises
Welcoming arms
Or closed doors

Only time will reveal
With its turning wheels
Many roads bend
Some end...
Peeping into a new door

Promising lot more
Raise on the knoll
But don't fall
As you are too small

On this Earth's mall !

Last Remains

The swift sway,

The varying drift,

With every ripple of water,

They get lift.

They are the remains,

The last remains

Of once living soul and vein.

But now,

They are scattered,

After being poured into waves,

Still remembering,

Their once happy and lively days!

The tearful eyes see them off

With heavy hearts,

For whom this soul was,
A life’s dear part!

The departing ashes,
The fluttering flowers,

dilute into waves,

Pristine Pearls | 29

Just as its memory,

From this world will fade.

The carrying ripples became distant,
The ashes hesitant,

But this was its ultimate fate,
For which it was meant.

The nears and dears

Utter their silent byes,

Not asking,

Any how, when and why’s!

Dark Ecstasies

The cold breeze,

Which can turn,

Even your soul to freeze,

The swift sway of wind,

The darkness of night,

The music of soft light,

The twinkling of stars,

Makes you wonder,

Are all these small wonders,
Meant for you

Or are destined,
For only some lucky few!

The beauty of night is at its hilt,

Essenced by all these ecstasies,

all these bring a heavenly experience,

an obsessive feeling,

an experience to be experienced

a feeling to be felt

a beauty to be observed.

Pristine Pearls | 31

There is nothing different today,

But if you overlook everyday drabness

You can see nature so beautiful,
So close to you,

As if meant,
Just for you!

You are one of those few

To view it,

To admire it

The fragrant night,

The dark night,

Yet so beautifully lit night..............

Last Thoughts

The cold morning breeze,

Is sensing too freeze

Is this beautiful morning,

Of my life’s last!

At this thought,

My heartbeat became fast

They told

Today morning,

I was to be hanged down,

Are they preparing,

My death gown!

I think, how shall I feel,

When my throat shall be clutched,

From that hanging reel

Will someone mourn for me,
From these standing personalities,

I don’t see,
Any sign of probability

Are these my last moments,

Pristine Pearls | 33

Certainly yes,

Certainly?

Can no one from whole world save me,
But if yes, who will,

Does anyone has real will !
Why my life is snatched from me

Am I not its master

I wish to run away,

From this humid death,

But where can I hide,

On entire earth.

I am placing feet on last step,

My pace is slow

My wandering thoughts became still

Darkness overtakes me,

God seems to be near

My past loving world,

I no longer bear!
