Zipped Lips
An old wound, a silent scar,
Are remnants of a life,
That I have left behind far..........
They are not palpating,
I assume them to be sleeping,
But infect,
They are like zipped lips, concealing a story,
That’s not worth keep !
And I assume
It has long gone to sleep.
But in the inner layers of mind,
When scratched deep,
They lie with eyes open,
And hurt still seeping,
Only soaked,
And kept from leaking,
under the wrap of zipped lips,
but at times,
they still flip,
and from eyes, silently slip!!

Keep Flying
When things are refused,
When relations are diffused,
When days are dark,
And nights still darker,
Your stare up,
Your eyes search around,
Roaming in wilderness,
Yet in a state of stillness.
Refusal is heard loud,
Yet you don’t acknowledge its sound
Thoughts run wild,
Like a kite dangling
Without a guide.
In suspended state,
You start to lose balance,
Your swagger loses its confidence dagger
Suddenly the kite is up held tight,
‘His’ hands holding it upright
The grip of whose was just loose,

To make you, think and choose
Experiment and implement,
All your possible tools.
Don’t lose your faith,
When life is running low
It might be a purposeful bow,
To the string of your kite,
So keep flying,
With all your might.

Mountains
Here I stand
All talk and magnous,
Making you humans
Gawk and envious.
‘Mountains’ you call me,
‘Hills’ you name me,
But in real,
What I mean to thee!
My green blankets, my rich soil,
Pure air, I give you all,
without toil......
my skyscraping altitudes,
could not dither your attitudes!
You scrap me,
Dig me,
Blast me,
Create your own land and concrete
Should you be called engineering masters
Or termed as nature’s disaster!

I am your own earth Risen high from same mirth
Don’t flatten me or cut my trees
This height and greenery
Are my precious jewels!
But sadly for you,
These are just plots and fuel!!

Life
Life, a fragile thread
Joining soul and body bed
Dangling loosely,
Breathing silently,
Beating quickly.
Continues the journey of life
One moment it's there,
In other, it's gone
Turning a person into a body.
You cannot hold it
Cannot grab it
Cannot beg it not to leave,
As it filters through the sieve
And evaporates like a fragrance
Leaving all in a trance.
Where it's now ?
Pristine Pearls | 93
No answer
How it's now?
Silence......
Will it come again?
And the logical mind says,
Come on... you got to be sane !!
