ABSTRACT
Eremoconté is a container that is use to retreat our environment. Eremoconté which
originates from a Latin word means waste which we referred to our dried leaves combine
with Conte which comes from french word’s meaning container. Eremoconté is basically is
made up of dried leaves fibre. These days, our society unceasingly throwing plastic
wrappers, polystyrene and container which contributes to pollution. Therefore, we come up
with an initiative to resolve this problem by inventing an eco-friendly container to minimise
the usage of plastic container and polystyrene. Eremoconté can be utilised as fertiliser for
soil after it decomposes. We use dried leaves since it is found plentifully all around the
globe. The significant of this development is to commercialise the use of dried leaves
instead of deposing them by burning them .The probability of leaves to extinct is low and will
not give impact to our ecosystem. Our main objective is to utilise our natural resources.
Eremoconté is a safe container since it is not harmful if we accidentally consume it. In
summary, it is hoped that the Eremoconté concept will be adopted globally to secure and
protect our mother nature.

ABSTRACT
Estaarella is a spray to repel most insects, especially the household casebearer, Phereoeca
uterella, a moth in the Tineidae family of Lepidoptera. Many species in this family are
casebearers and a few are indoor pests of hair fibers, woolens, silks, felt and similar
materials that is commonly found in warm, humid, dark and dusty areas. The larval cases of
Kamitetep can also be found on wool rugs and wool carpets, hanging on curtains, or under
buildings, hanging from subflooring, joists, sills and foundation. It is also found on exterior of
buildings in shaded places, under farm sheds, under lawn furniture, on stored farm
machinery, and on tree trunks. Most people know this species by the name Kamitetep.
Kamitetep may be small in size but it can cause itchiness because of its spiny hairs that can
easily become lodged in your skin. Hence, Estaarella is created to help to prevent the
occurrence of Kamitetep and would last up to 7 days. For this project, garlic, neem
oil, peppermint, brown sugar, acetic acid (CH COOH), yeast and water (HO) are used. All the
ingredients were mixed and boiled altogether based on the previous research. The product
Estaarella has demonstrated that it is possible to be used as a repellent agent of Kamitetep
species for a minimum of 1 week period and it is suggested to be used once every week to
maintain the efficiency of the product. Based on the results of this project, Estaarella will
help the society who are still struggling to cope and find a perfect product that helps to repel
most insects especially Kamitetep.

ABSTRACT
Paper is a fundamental necessity in today’s society. This explains why the global consumption of
paper and paperboard totaled 399 million tons in 2020 and is projected to continue rising over the
coming decade to reach 466 million tons by 2031. Furthermore, paper products are biodegradable,
compostable and recyclable therefore breaks down into carbon dioxide, water vapour, and organic
materials which are not harmful to the environment. The word paper is derived from the name of
the reedy plant papyrus, which grows abundantly along the Nile River in Egypt. In this study, our
goal is to limit the widespread use of less biodegradable materials, thus addressing a global issue.
In contrast to the benefits of paper usage, the objective of our project is to reduce the
consumption of clay in pottery making. Firstly, old newspapers were collected and shred to small
thin pieces and place in a mixing bowl. Add some water to the paper scraps. A mortar and pestle
was used to mix up the paper scraps and water into a pulp. The paper pulp was sticked to a small
plastic bowl to form a pot shape. Glue was applied to the shaped pot. When the pot was dried, the
pulp was taken out from the small plastic bowl. A paper pottery is formed. Two experiments were
conducted to determine the recyclability of used paper and to compare the time taken for each
type of pottery to decompose. In the future, it would be an honour to expand our research by
conducting tests in labs equipped with advanced technologies to obtain more accurate results. As
such, we would be privileged to apply nanogrind technology and enzymatic hydrolysis for efficient
cellulose fibre extraction to study on the making of paper products to increase our experience in
this work field. With further research, we would also widen the scope of our study by including
additional paper product waste, such as newspaper and notepads in the production of our main
material for the pottery industry and hopefully many more. We really hope that our invention
improves with time to benefit this planet and give back to the society.

ABSTRACT
“H2O On The Go” was initially launched for the purpose to overcome the challenges of
civilization to consume purified water wherever they are with the help of this portable water
filter. This project was inspired by a mini water filter that you can commonly find connected
to a sink which is basically converted to a bottle-like design. Nevertheless, we decided to
upgrade our product by making a slight change on the filter contents to increase the
benefits for the consumer. Our product consists of five filter stages which are mainly sand
and gravel, iron and copper, activated charcoal, aquarium sponge filter and lastly a small
pore shield. As a result, the water stored in the bottle will be free from harmful bacteria,
enhancing health benefits for the consumer and also free from any nasty odour. The best
part of this product is mainly because you could use it anywhere and anytime that you want.
This product is also eco-friendly and easy to use. However, since the impurities are kept in
the filter, it's important to replace the water filter contents every 12 months to ensure it
continues to work as it should; but don't worry, every apparatus used in this project is
remarkably reachable and affordable.

ABSTRACT
Sixty percent of the world right now does not have access to a clean water source resulting
in almost 1.2 million deaths each year. This statement is supported by the fact that 6% of
deaths come from low-income countries that could not afford to provide clean water
resources. This situation has led to the idea of mycofiltration technology that can be used to
treat contaminated water by utilizing a fungal mycelium as the filtering agent. Since it is
cheap and biodegradable, this material provides an economical solution especially to those
low income countries and even suitable for household applications. This project is
conducted to analyze the effectiveness of Hydro-Mylter, a Pleurotus Ostreatus based
product, thus answering the main idea of this project which is to develop a sustainable
solution for a water treatment. The outcome of this project is based on two experimental
works; the first experiment provides data on the rate of mycelium oil absorption while the
second experiment uses mycelium to filter the contaminated water. Consequently, data was
extracted in evaluating the efficiency of mycofiltration. The results show that mycelium is
capable of absorbing oil and also proven to filter dirts and color of the contaminated water.
Based on the experimental results, it can be concluded that fungal mycelium is highly
potential to be used in mycofiltration system. Therefore, the objective of this has been
successfully achieved.

Noh-Volare shows the studies of preventing and controlling flies from contaminating food
sources. Flies can bring diseases such as anthrax, tularemia and more that can be harmful
to humans. This disease can be received through contaminated foods by flies. We have
experimented on three different substances by using curry leaves, peppermint essential oil
and the combination of both. The results show that both substances are effective for
preventing flies. It is also revealed that curry leaves and peppermint essential oil show the
best results when both substances are combined. We have decided to use these results
and make a product that can prevent flies diseases that is eco-friendly and low price. We
used curry leaves and peppermint essential oil and experimented with a few tests and
samples. The result shows a very interesting end-result. The product’s function is to give a
smell that is not favourable to flies but still give a fragrance to humans. Overall, this study
prioritizes the importance of avoiding fly diseases without using harmful ingredients that
can affect the environment.

ABSTRACT
Nucifera is a biodegradable dishwasher scouring sponge made up of a matured coir.
Nucifera derives from the scientific name of coconut tree Cocos nucifera Contemporarily, our
communities tend to dispose of the coir rightly after obtaining its flesh that is widely known
for its numerous benefits. Ergo, we opt to resolve this concern by producing a natural low
cost scouring sponge, which is a must have in every household as an early effort to reduce
the usage of synthetic materials hence the wastage of coir. Nucifera aims to maximise the
use of renewable sources in our everyday lives to substitute the use of non-renewable
materials. Discourses regarding Nucifera would be first and foremost, “What differs this
product compared to the usual sponge ?” The usual sponge is made up of an inert plastic that
is difficult to degrade in the environment even after being buried for several years. Compared
to polyethylene, coconut fibre can degrade faster which varies depending on age and form,
generally lasting to four years while polyethylene takes approximately up to 450 years.
Moreover, matured coconuts can be easily obtained as they are abundantly dispersed around
the coastal beach area. Also, this product is eco-friendly, 100% natural and the production
cost is lower. The phenolic groups in its lignin are responsible for initiating the excellent
oleophilic properties. Apart from that, the rate of water absorption is also higher. Through the
concept of Nucifera, we hope it can be applied globally in order to save our mother nature.

Polyvier is a container made up of palm oil leaves. Polyvier which derived from a French
word “Polyvalent Palmier” meaning versatile palm . These days , people around the world
throw all plastic wrappers, containers and polystyrene everywhere which results to
pollution. Therefore, we decided to overcome this problem by inventing a biodegradable
container that could substitute the usage of plastics. Palm oil leaves are used since the
population of the plant in Malaysia is abundant which made it easy to find. Polyvier is a
perfect solution to solve this problem as it is eco friendly and decompose easily. Polyvier
mainly aims to produce a container that will neither be harmless nor another pollution
agent. Its focus is to reduce the usage of plastics in food packaging industry due to it’s
ability to decompose in a short period which is only 2-4 days in exposure to sunlight and
water. Polyvier is a safe container as it is alright if we accidentally consume it. In a nutshell,
the concept of Polyvier is hoped to be applied globally in order to secure and protect our
mother nature.

ABSTRACT
Pollution is the presence of contaminants in the natural environment that causes harm and
damage and therefore leads to adverse changes. On this acrolein project,we’re specifically
emphasize pollution related to the air which used by the organism to live in this
earth.Acrolein is an advanced pollution catcher equipment which makes it easy to get rid of
air pollution without any loss of human energy. This acrolein is designed to reduce or
eliminate the air containing some unnecessary substances such as ammonia gas, nitrous
oxide, carbon monoxide and others. The activated charcoal will absorb the smell of those
gases and convert it to fresh air.The fans located in the acrolein is an application of
Bernoulli’s principle which states that an increase in the velocity of a air occurs
simultaneously with a decrease in static pressure and vice versa.Mechanical fan inside the
acrolein is used to emit the harmful smoke outside by pulling the air entering the acrolein
and pushed the air outside the acrolein after conversion of air happened.Basically, the work
of a acrolein machine is to filter the air.It is demonstrated how and affordability, acrolein
may readily used as high-quality alternative in a variety of manufacturing industries.Acrolein
has been proven to be environmental friendly and hence, the Bernoulli's conclusion: the
slower the rate of flow of air,the higher the pressure of air and the faster the rate of flow of
air, the lower the pressure of air.

ABSTRACT
In general, product is an object or system made available in the market to satisfy customer’s
needs or desires. Therefore, we choose our product with equal thought that the creation of
the same must align with the fundamental rules wherein it must be sustainable in nature and
eco-friendly to the environment; hence Travioca is the answer to the equation. Travioca is
the name of our product and it derives loosely from the word “trava” which means grass in
Russian. Just like the origin of the name, Travioca is a raw material that is made from mainly
grass to paper. The primary reason we opt to use grass as the main source is largely
contributed to the fact that it is a renewable substance and eco-friendly in nature. Our
objective is to produce a product that helps reduce the amount of industrial waste as it is a
well-known fact that our planet has been polluted with an abundance of industrial waste that
cannot be recycled, reused or decomposed. It is also worrisome as data shows that the
amount of industrial waste has increased, especially during the current pandemic situation
affecting the entire world population. Thus, Travioca may be the best option to ease the
worrisome situation. Travioca can also be used in multiple fields as it is a raw material and
not only limited to one specific scope. With this new innovation, we can achieve our goal,
thus making the planet an even better and safer place.

ABSTRACT
Pot fertiliser is a product that utilises food waste into a pot for plants. Usually, small plants
are planted in a black plastic bag before being transferred into the ground. The plastic bag
will eventually be separated from the plant and thrown away. This will actually cause
pollution to the environment as they take a long time to decompose. Meanwhile the pot
fertilizer can be planted into the ground without throwing it away. The main reason why is
that the pot will decompose overtime, making it act as a fertiliser . Unlike plastic bags, food
waste is biodegradable and it can act as a fertiliser because it is the main source of organic
matter such as banana peel, orange peel and others. Organic matter provides nutrition to
living organisms. Plastic bags contain coal, natural gas and crude oil that will eventually
deplete overtime because it is a non-renewable source while food can be produced again
without worrying about depletion. A proven research has shown that in Malaysia, 17000
tonnes of food are thrown daily and 4005 tonnes of the food thrown are known to still be
edible. Food that gets thrown away in landfills have contributed towards pollution of carbon
dioxide emission. By utilising the food waste into a pot, it can at least help tone down the
food that is wasted into something useful for the environment and prevents more plastic
being used as plastic has been long known to cause pollution to the environment.

polyethylene, minimize pollution on Earth, and conserve energy.(nama project) works by
collecting the plastic bottles that don't belong within the landfills and ocean. From there, the
plastic bottles are shredded into flakes by a machine which will be run on renewable
energy. Those flakes are melted down into pellets, then the pellets are extruded into yarn. The
yarn may be knitted, cut and sewn into clothing a bit like the other yarn. For this project to be
administered, an extruder and a plastic shredder are used to shred plastic in injection
molding, extrusion, blow molding, rotational molding, thermoforming, blown film, cast film,
and pelletizing factories. Despite using an extruder to melt the sorted tiny pieces of
polyethylene, we still get to reduce the emissions of commercial gas from leaving the
utilization of coal and petroleum out of the assembly of polyester.

ABSTRACT
Nowadays, plastic-based products are widely used in industries. As such, plastic bags,
wrappers, bottles and many more. However, without realising plastics caused harm to our
Earth. Plastics take a long time to decompose as the materials do not exist in nature.
Therefore, there are no natural organisms that can decompose them. This may result in a
global crisis of plastic wastes. Plastic usage increases especially during pandemic. As
everyone is advised to stay at home, the packaging postage increases due to online
shopping. For instance, discarded plastic containers, bottles and wrappers are the main
factors to environmental pollution such as water pollution and land pollution. Furthermore,
plastic wastes also have an impact on marine lives and animals’ extinction. Hence, we
proudly introduce our product named JELLYTAP. This product may replace plastic-based
products, especially plastic food wrappers. We used tapioca starch and jelly as the materials
for our product. These materials are easily found and 100% organic. Hence, it is
biodegradable compared to plastics. Tapioca starch is used to strengthen and provide firm
shape to our product so that it is not easily torn. In addition, we used jelly which acts as a
plasticizer to provide flexibility to our product so that it is easily bent to be used for wrapping
purposes. Based on all experiments conducted, we believe that the amount of starch used
may affect the quality of our product. As it is biodegradable, JELLYTAP can reduce
environmental pollution including water pollution as well as land pollution. By using our
product, postage packaging issues may be reduced especially during the pandemic. As a
result, we are pleased to make the world a better place to live in.

ABSTRACT
Garbage dumps and drains are often left polluted by rubbish, making nearby residents feel
uncomfortable, especially those living in residential areas. Wet garbage like food wastes
undergo decomposition process which release the odours. Accumulated garbage will rot that
cause odour pollution which attract flies. Flies attract with odour that is a signal source of
food and reproduction, From the flies, the community will also be affected by various diseases
such as food poisoning and dysentery. The goal of this study is to develop an eco-hydrobin
that can separate solid and liquid wastes easily and efficiently. Moisture of the garbage also
can be reduced as well as the smelly odour. Therefore, eco-hydrobin can solve this problem in
a short time without harming the environment. For this project, we use the concept of density
to separate solid and liquid substances with different densities. Eco-hydrobin is the best
choices as it can drain liquid waste to the drain compared to normal dustbin. With
combination of bin and net, it can reduce odour intensity effectively.

ABSTRACT
The world has faced this problem for a long time which is land pollution, sea pollution, and
the most dangerous effect on the earth which is global warming. This is because of the
production of 369 billion metric tons of plastic production and paper bag production is 100
million tons per year. As you know the temperature of the earth now increased by 1 °C which
is caused by global warming. For instance, during a heat wave in the In the United States, the
temperature increased to 40 °C. Plantable Coconut Husk Fibre Paper Bag research has been
focusing on finding the raw materials that are capable of replacing wood and plastics as the
main material in making bags. And to prove whether coconut fibre could potentially replace
the use of wood in paper making. Research has been done about coir fibre. Coconut coir
contains cellulose fibre which is high enough and can be used in pulp manufacturing. It can
be used to manufacture composite materials consisting of a combination of coir fibre paper
pulp and pulp formation of HVS. Furthermore, fibre pulp has the highest levels of alpha-
cellulose used as raw material in the manufacture of composite paper. In conclusion, all the
plantable coconut husk fibre paper bags are sustainable consumption for all people on earth
and were used as the main raw material to discover the potential of being an additive for
pulp in papermaking.

ABSTRACT
Mosquitoes bites can lead to harmful diseases. To avoid it, we usually use aerosol spray. However, it
contains harmful chemicals like CFC. Mosquitoes can also be repelled using scented candles.
However, the candles we usually see are made of paraffin wax, which is derived from petroleum.
When it's burnt, it releases toxic compounds which affect the environment and our health too. From
the issues above, we created a product which we call Aromatic GeranioBwax Candle. Our product is
made from beeswax and geranium which contains zero chemical traces and is eco-friendly. Our
objective is to reduce the usage of aerosol spray which is high in dangerous chemicals. In addition to
that, we want to prevent illness caused by the usage of chemical products such as respiratory
problems and dengue. We prepared our product by putting beeswax into a beaker and melting it.
When the wax is totally melted, we put 20ml geranium oil and stir until it is well combined. Then, we
transfer the mixture into a jar and put a wick in the middle. When the wax has already set, then our
product is ready to be used. Our product is better than the usual one as our product has new and
beneficial features. For instance, our candle lasts longer than paraffin candles. Besides, our candle
helps with air purification and repels mosquito. Our candle also helps people to relax their mind and
create a positive mood. In the future, we hope we can make our candle spread its scent to a wider
surrounding. Our product can be used by anyone especially candle lovers. It can also function in
commercial uses. As an example, hotels can use our candle to spice up their room with its aromatic
aroma. Meanwhile, spa centres can light up our candle as it helps with relaxation to ease the
customers’ mind. Lastly, restaurants can light up our candle on their tables not just to set a romantic
mood especially for a candlelight dinner, but also effortlessly saving the earth at the same time. With
this, we hope that our effort could be a starting point for people to do their part in contributing to
mother nature.

ABSTRACT
Nowadays, a lot of people use food containers or packaging made of Styrofoam. Many people
are throwing used Styrofoam without knowing the bad impact of it on our nvironment. This kind
of unorganized Styrofoam can pollute our earth day by day. We named our product Colle de
Styro means glue made of Styro in France language. Since we made the glue using the
Styrofoam as main ingredients, we named it Colle de Sytro. Colle de Sytro is used to overcome
the problem when it comes to disposing of the Styrofoam that has been used. Firstly, we need to
put nitrile gloves on for safety purposes. Then, we should fill the small glass dish about one-
quarter of the way full with acetone. After, we need to break up the Polystyrene and Styrofoam
into small pieces. Next, we should add the Styrofoam slowly to the acetone while mixing with the
stirrer. Last but not least, once the liquid starts to become very thick it can be used as a glue. The
stirrer makes a good applicator for homemade glue. We also can store the glue in its tube to use
it anywhere and anytime when we need it. Warning: Acetone has strong vapors and should not
be inhaled, ingested or brought in contact with any mucous membrane, like eyes and nose. It is
better to wear a mask and glass while making the glue. Our product is an environmentally
ecofriendly product since we don’t include any chemical substance in it and it doesn’t cause bad
effects to our earth. Besides, we also clean the environment by reusing endangered chemicals
and turning them into useful products. This product helps us to clean our environment and avoid
pollution from happening to our earth. We have to protect our earth by ourselves.

ABSTRACT
As mask pollution is increasing each day, Masque Recyclé Wrap is an innovative wrapping paper
made of used masks. It helps our environment by reducing the undisposed masks from oceans and
landfills to be turned into an item that we can use in our day to day lives. This project is made to be
of service to decreasing mask pollution. Growing up in a household where each meal is cooked at
home. We know how much food goes to waste. According to the UN Environment Programme we
produce approximately over 1.3 billion tonnes of food waste each year. One of the most known
ways to preserve our food for a bit longer is by using cling wrap; a thin plastic film typically used for
sealing food items in containers to keep them fresh over a longer period of time. One of the
downsides to using cling wrap in our day to day lives is that cling film takes a long division of time to
decompose. It takes around 450 years to decompose. Whether or not we know it, we use plastic
items everyday, one of them being plastic cling film. With most of them ending up as pollutants to
the environment, our group has decided to innovate an already created product which is masks. Our
product is named “Masque Recyclé Wrap”, “Recyclé” means recycled and ”Masque” means mask in
French. The materials used to make our product are used masks, beeswax, resin, coconut oil and a
sewing kit. Reading the materials used above, you might be concerned with the hygiene of our
product. Let us ease you by reassuring that our product is 100% safe to use for food as it is sterilized
before doing any further. Our product is fully recycled owing to the fact that we used food safe
materials to create this product. Not only is our product recycled it is also multifunctional, animal
cruelty free and reusable. We think our product could really make a difference in the community of
all mothers, cooks and families out there, that being said our main target users/ customers are
everyone who could be of benefit to our product.

ABSTRACT
EZ-BOX is an environmentally-friendly storage box portable product that requires used cardboard and
other reusable materials as the primary material. For this product, we relate it to the COVID-19 pandemic
crisis that affected thousands of lives in Malaysia and the world. Due to the disease’s high transmission
rate in the education sector especially in boarding schools, students are required to utilize storage boxes
made of plastic which is large and takes up huge space in class, we considered ways to construct a
portable storage box, doesn’t take up to much space and most importantly eco-friendly due to limited
spaces in the classroom. In addition, we also wanted to find a more affordable solution to standard
storage boxes which are bulky, heavy, and very costly. Aside from our used cardboard and bunting
banner, our product is also movable and designed to be attached to the side of the table. Both cardboard
boxes and bunting banners are placed on top of each other to strengthen the product. The velcro strap is
made of strong nylon, a breathable type of fabric to ensure the product’s efficacy. Among the features
that differentiate our product and common storage boxes are long-lasting and mobility as the bunting
banner helps to strengthen the cardboard wrapping and makes our product last longer. The velcro straps
allow us to bring the storage box anywhere with ease since the EZ BOX is much lighter than the ordinary
storage box compared to the regular storage box. Our product is easier to be taken anywhere and the
material is eco-friendly and low cost. EZ-BOX is an eco-friendly product that uses reusable materials as
the prior ingredients – cardboard. It’s also biodegradable and long-lasting. To test this product’s
effectiveness, we put 10 kg of rice in a sack it can hold it without any damage which proves that our
product is long-lasting and durable. Based on our observation, we found that without velcro straps, our
product could hold around 6kg worth of textbooks, and with velcro straps, it can hold a whopping 14kg
worth of textbooks. Not only is this product cheaper than a standard storage box, but it is also a well
functioning product perfect for small classrooms/spaces, that is portable, affordable, sustainable, and
safe to be used for all ages.

ABSTRACT
The present study was conducted to build a small wind turbine (VELOLAMP) which can be
used to power small street lights. VELOLAMP is a small wind turbine combined with a
lamp that is mostly based on recycled materials and it generates electricity using wind
power. A capacitor 25V was used for storage (A capacitor is a device that stores electrical
energy in an electric field. It is a passive electronic component with two terminal), motor
dc was used to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, some wires were used
for transporting electricity from motor dc to bulb. We use recyclable materials such as CD
that can no longer used, cardboard. We collected the materials from the recycling bins that
available at SM Sains Hulu Terengganu. We also use a cover pen, a capacitor 25V, a light
bulb, a DC motor, hot glue gun and some wires. The blades used in turbine were made of
CD.In this study, we will use observations as a way of data collection method. Observation
is a way of gathering data by watching behavior, events, or nothing physical characteristics
in their natural setting.Trials was executed to calculate the voltage output from the turbine
at different wind speeds. In the conclusion, this VELOLAMP can be used in a bigger scale
in the future. In view of, innovation projects have a design that is easy to create and easy to
use by all users.

ABSTRACT
Since the pandemic of COVID-19, online shopping has gained a lot of sales and eventually
caused an increase in plastic waste. From the observation, we found that plastic has high
flexibility, strength, and versatility - making it the first option of packaging by the sellers. A
detailed study has proven that these characteristics cannot be found in current
biodegradable packaging in the market. Due to a lack of choices in bio packaging,
DZPapyrus is created to overcome this problem. DZPapyrus is unique and different as it is
made from durian waste which appears to be one of the largest food wastes that are
underestimated by Malaysian citizens. DZPapyrus is completely made of natural,
environmentally friendly ingredients such as durian husk, water, and homemade glycerin.
The product has been tested through three parameters which consist of strength, flexibility,
and its waterproofness. It has been revealed that using organic matter to create this bio
packaging increases the potential to reduce the production of plastic packaging. Based on
our study in using DZPapyrus as a bio packaging, it has been found that DZpapyrus has
successfully met all the criteria in securing the product throughout the delivery process and
reaches the consumers without any damage. Overall, this bio packaging encourages the
sellers to reduce and be less reliant on plastic packaging which has proven to be harmful to
the environment and marine life. It also promoting the application of natural substances in
daily life and environmental sustainability.

ABSTRACT
According to recent studies, some 829 000 people die each year from diarrhoea due to unsafe
drinking-water. Drinking contaminated water will most likely cause symptoms of
gastrointestinal illness such as diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, nausea and vomiting. Even
though these symptoms can take only up to 24 to 48 hours to develop, unhygienic water
consumption harms human health. Even so, finding clean water can be difficult in certain
circumstances such as hiking and camping. Thus, AquaSafe was created to overcome the
issue. This is to ensure that the water taken from foreign sources such as rivers is clean and
safe to drink. This can avoid waterborne diseases that are caused by contaminated water. The
intended size of the product is about 30cm and the production of AquaSafe costs RM 29.35.
The pH level of water that is recommended to drink according to the Water Systems Council
(WSC), the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) falls between 6.5 to 8.5. AquaSafe is
able to filter the contaminants to get clean water in the terms of colour and odour from the
murky water obtained from rivers. Clean and drinkable water is important to ensure healthiness
and to avoid doubt while drinking as this problem is becoming an alarming issue in today’s
society. Overall, the innovation concept is able to help in improving the quality of lifestyle in
daily life as humans need to consume at least 2 litres of water a day.

ABSTRACT
Rain is problem when you want to hang your cloth to dry outside on the cloth rack. Hanging
cloth outside on the cloth rack can sometime be inconvenient. This project aims to solve this
problem by answering: What specifications need to be made to improve the cloth rack so
that it can protect clothing from rainwater and also helps to dry clothing? We think that
adding a curtain that functions to protect the clothes on the cloth rack when it rains and a
heater for indoor drying can improve the cloth rack greatly. Plastic bottles are used to make
the base of the cloth rack. PVC, and paper are then used to reinforce the base. Gear motors
are used to draw the curtain and is controlled by Arduino UNO. A heater is then installed on
the bottom of the cloth rack. As a result, an improved version of the cloth rack which we
called JERRY Smart Suspension is created. Although functional, it does have some flaws
such as, it isn’t as durable as the commercialized cloth rack on the market, but it can still
hold up a good amount of weight. Overall, JERRY Smart Suspension proved to be effective in
helping anyone doing laundry during a rainy day.

ABSTRACT
The increase of deforestation in the world globally has contributed to the rising of the inequality
of the greenhouse effects and this factually proven by how the Earth is slowly crumbling from
end to end, devouring the world as we speak. The dominant explanation for this disaster is the
humankind themselves in which they not only keep reproducing but also gradually cause
mother nature pollution on the move. Deforestation, in exact is one of the main contributors
and the product of it resulted in the papers we have been using in daily life. So, instead of
dwelling with what is impossible to overcome a solution must be made to further tarnish this
environmental issue. Citrus Scrap Paper, a project we conducted in hope to produce papers
from orange scraps and permanently remove the usage of wood in the paper industries. Our

ABSTRACT
As hygiene becomes more important in this endemic season, it is discovered that the demand
for tissue papers have increased more than doubled. Just in 2019, the global tissue
consumption has reached around 40 million tonnes. Hence, this shows how important tissue
papers are to ourselves. Though, we still have some concerns over the tissue papers we
generally used daily. As not all tissues are chemically befitting to be used on our crucial skin
zone, we came up with our idea of a skin friendly tissue, KAEN. In making KAEN, we applied the
neutralisation concept to soften the corn husks fibres after extracting it using an alkaline
solution. The extracted fibres are then mix and grinded together with starch we obtained from
boiled rice which act as an adhesive device to maintain its structure. Additionally adding mint
leaves as a component of the tissue papers, cosmetics properties are also added into the
tissue paper. At last, we used the traditional paper making method to make the tissue paper
manually. By the production of this product, KAEN, we honestly hope to improve the lifestyle of
the community by choosing a healthier choice of tissue paper in maintaining owns hygiene as
well as a beauty product. As this product is majorly made from organic material with less
harmful chemical, it’s absolutely a wiser choice to be used on our skin in order to prevent the
trigger of sensitives skin issues.

ABSTRACT
Plastic has been quite dertrimental to the environment during these past few decades. The
usage of plastic itself has killed a lot of life whether it be plants or animals. So, we’ve come out
with an idea to overcome this issue, in our opinion the creation bioplastics is the best solution
for this problem . There are many kind of bioplastic in the market currently, the most popular for
the meantime is starch-based bioplastic. However, starch- based bioplastic is difficult to
produce and takes time to be made. Since we are in Asia we’ve decided to use one of the most
neglected parts of a Rambutan and that is it’s seed .The seed surprisingly has high contents of
starch and a lot easier to find in Malaysia rather than the more unusual industrial grade starch
.The Rambutan or it’s scientific name is Nephelium lappaceum and we are using it’s seed as
our alternative to replace the starch as the main component of our bioplastic. We are using the
seed of the fruit to convert it into a flour-like powder. We mix it with various ingredients to
ensure our final product has similar characteristic with the more harder to be made starch-
based bioplastic. The benefits of our rambutan-based bioplastic are it can withstand a lot more
load than traditional petroleum plastic bags. Furthermore it can dissolve in water a lot easier so
that no aquatic life will be harmed if consumed. Other than that, it reduces the usage of
petroleum-based plastics that are non biodegradable. Moreover, it is easier to make and can be
made using basic kitchen supplies and tools.

ABSTRACT
In this era of globalization, oyster mushrooms have a very high demand in market. It is proven that
oyster mushrooms are well known for its nutrition and benefits. Moreover, growing them is
profitable. Based on researches, growing oyster mushrooms may profit you around RM 1000 to
RM 2000 a month, a big number of money for a part-timer. However, there are some problems
that the cultivators have faced along the journey. The cultivators just spread the water on top of
the cultivation room, resulting irregular amount of water and affect the humidity of the
surrounding. The traditional way of watering the mushrooms may slow the growth of mushrooms,
whereas the harvest time of them may delay. On top of that, mushrooms produced are small in
size due to contact with water, which affect the size and quality of them. Furthermore, cultivators
said that they were really tired of watering the mushrooms manually and is very time consuming.
So, we create a system proudly named Mushroom Waterfall. Mushroom Waterfall is an
automated watering system that will ease the burden of cultivators and serves flawless
mushrooms to people. When the temperature detected is high, the system will be activated. Water
will be forced to flow down the wall of the room by gravitational pull to keep the surrounding moist
and warm. Once the temperature decreased to the desired temperature, the system will be turned
off. The accumulated water on the ground helps the room to keep moist and keep the perfect
humidity for the growth of mushrooms. With this system, the mushrooms will be cultivated in the
perfect conditions, and produce a better outcome to fulfill the satisfaction of people.

ABSTRACT
Watermelon (Citrullus Lanatus) is well-known for its juicy and delicious flesh. However, the watermelon
rinds are the parts that are always being unused and thrown away. A compendium of studies reveals
that the ingredients in those rinds such as amino acid called L-citrulline and the kidneys convert this
nonessential amino acid into another amino acid, called L-arginine as well as a chemical called nitric
oxide. Those natural ingredients have advantages to our body especially in boosting energy for daily
activities. Thus, this project is oriented to produce gummy from the watermelon rinds called Citrullana
Vigour Gummy. There are three phases involved in making the gummy. We will start by cutting the
watermelon and separating the juice, filling, and rind. then make it as an extract by putting it in a slow
cooker for 8 hours. Then, the second phase is making the vigour gummy. In this phase, we will heat the
pot at the temperature of 60°C, then add the extract of juice, filling or skin, and water of 40ml with the
concentration of 100%. Next, mixed with 19g gelatin and 20g jelly powder and stir evenly. The final
phase is forming the shape of the vigour gummy. Pour the solute into a silicon mold. Lastly, leave the
mold at room temperature for 3 hours until the shape formed solid and springy. An analysis for the
tester for this gummy reveal that our gummy has a unique taste that can attract childrens and adult.
This delicious and affordable Citrullana Vigour Gummy can supply energy quickly thus increasing
fitness and cardiovascular endurance based on researched by Takashi Suzuki, Masahiko Morita,
Yoshinori Kobayashi & Ayako Kamimura (2016) Oral L-citrulline supplementation enhances cycling
time trial performance in healthy trained men: Double-blind randomized placebo-controlled 2-way

ABSTRACT
Cumina is an innovative idea based on the heart of a banana [Musa acuminata Colla] and also the dark
chocolate from the tree [Theobroma cacao]. The statistic reveals that the number of Malaysians who
died from atherosclerosis is high compared to cancer. Atherosclerosis is the buildup of fats, cholesterol,
and other substances in and on your artery walls. Thus, the aim of this innovation is to develop natural
foods that are able to stave off LDL cholesterol problems and also high in antioxidants. The
compendium of the literature shows that the Banana heart is great in reducing atherosclerosis risk. and
also high in antioxidants. Hence, our innovative candy, Cumina Melties is a combination of banana heart
and dark chocolate to help in preventing atherosclerosis. Here are the ingredients, apparatus, and the
procedure to make cumina melties.Basic ingredients: organic dark chocolate (80%), extract banana
heart and organic honey. Apparatus: that we need are silicone mold, bowls, cooking oil, scales, and
organic honey. Step 1: Cleaning apparatus. Clean all the apparatus with Isoprophyl Alcohol (IPA) to
make sure all the apparatus are free from any bacteria and germs. Step 2: Preparing banana blossom
extract. Cut the banana blossom into small pieces and dry using food dehydrator for 5 hours. Then, grind
the dry banana blossom using electric blender until it become smooth like powder. Next, put it in a
beaker and pour 10 ml distilled water. Double boil it in 20 minutes. After that, put it in filter then wring it.
Collect the liquid abstract as our abstract for product. Step 3: Preparing the mixture. Put the dark choc in
100g and add the extraction of banana heart in 10ml in a bowl.Step 4: Preparing the candy. Put the
melted mixture in Step 3 in the silicone mold. Freeze the mixture 10 minutes and the candy, cumina
melties is ready to eat. This healthy and chocolaty candy can help to stave off LDL cholesterol. This
innovation is the kickstart to be expanded in terms of variations in ingredients to produce healthy and
organic candy that is suitable for all age groups. For future collaboration, we optimist that this Cumina

ABSTRACT
Diseases, no matter how hard man tries to prevent them, can never be completely eradicated
in biological life. This was the original purpose of medicine: to cure and prevent diseases.
However, it is undeniable that medicine has a drawback in that it contains dangerous
chemicals that can harm one's health. As a result, we devised an alternative medication that is
both natural and safe to use on a regular basis. The result was the creation of Mulberries
Gummies, a natural chemical medicine primarily composed of fruit extract in a gummy-like
texture. The primary active ingredient in this medication is Morus Alba also known as
Mulberry fruit. We hope to commercialize this fruit through this treatment because it has
numerous health benefits and is unique to Malaysia and is largely grown in rural areas. This
fruit extract and honey are also used to increase the effectiveness of Mulberries Gummies.
The main diseases treated by Mulberries Gummies are heart disease and high blood pressure,
which are the top three diseases suffered by people worldwide, particularly in Asia, but as we
investigated further, Mulberries Gummies can treat many other minor diseases such as
strengthening the body's immune system, preventing constipation, smoother blood
circulation, strengthening the bones, and lowering the risk of stroke. Many vitamins in
Mulberries Gummies improve overall health and are hoped to provide a beneficial alternative
to disease treatment. Mulberries Gummies is an alternative for those who refuse to take
medication and serves as a complement for persons of all ages.

ABSTRACT
Nowadays many companies have offered more biodegradable or recycled plastic
packaging instead of new ones. But to make those we still have to burn and melt the old
plastic to make new ones. Burning of plastic (thermoplastic) still produce CO2 that produce
greenhouse emission in the air. Not only that, using too much product from wood to make
paper packaging can also led to deforestation, landslide, killing of habitat and other
ecosystem problems. Our product is here to make big companies realize this small matter
could actually affect our nature. With the daily usage of packaging for product marketing. It
has been necessary for companies to make their own packaging to promote their product.
Hence the packaging is made but not from eco-friendly items.

ABSTRACT
Have you ever wondered about what happens to food waste that we throw every day? In
the dining hall of our school, it has been normalised to throw away food leftovers. Rather
than wasting them, the excess food could be used to generate a source of energy known as
biomass. Instead of combining all the wastes together, we will separate the food into green
wastes such as vegetables, fruits, meat and carbohydrate waste. They are then put into
separate containers with balloons attached to them. Thus, we could detect which type of
food could produce more methane gas by comparing the size of the expanded balloons.
The gas will be used to produce heat for combustion for cooking at the dining hall or
canteen. While the process of producing methane gas is happening, the production of
ethanol is happening at the same time. Ethanol produced could be used to replace cooking
oil or even fuels for transportation.

dishes as a substitute for tamarind, as they offer a similar sour flavor. Solanum Lasiocarpum
(Solanaceae), the scientific name of sour eggplant are small, elongated and round fruits that
measure an average of 8 cm long and 6 cm in diameters. The skin matures from green to a
yellow-orange, red orange or dark purple depend on the variety. It contains vitamin C, calcium,
fiber, phosphorus and potassium and is believed to be good for your skin. For 100 g of sour
eggplant, it has nutritional value of water (89 g), protein (1.4 g), fat (1 g), fiber (1.5 g), calcium
(13 mg) and energy (168 kJ). Our product, the Borneo Sour Soap is an idea to expand the use of
the sour eggplant other than cooking. We would like to introduce more widely about the
benefits of sour eggplant to all as sour eggplant is not commonly known and found elsewhere
including in peninsular Malaysia. For this project, we used sour eggplant, soap base(glycerin),
water, base oil (olive oil) and fragrance oil to create the product. Our Borneo Sour Soap is Earth-
friendly soap, smells good, gentle to the skin and cost effective.

ABSTRACT
Cigarette butts or cigarette ends can be defined as the part of cigarette that isleft after it has
been smoked (Cambridge Advance Learner's Dictionary & Thesaurus) . When cigarette waste
isn’t disposed properly, it makes its way into the environment where it ends up polluting water,
air, and land with toxic chemicals, heavy metal andresidual nicotine. An estimated 766,571
metric tons of cigarette butts make their wayinto the environment every year. (Truth Initiative,
Tobacco and the Environment) . However, lots of people did not realize that even the smallest
litter could haveamajor negative effect to the environment. For example, chemicals such as
arseniccan be found in the cigarette. Arsenic could cause death, inhibition of growth, mutation
of photosynthesis and reproduction, and behavioral effect (GreenFactsScientific Board). In
fact, researchers have found that 75% of smokers that drivetend to dispose their cigarettes
out of the car. This behaviour contributes a risk tofirehazard. Therefore, the idea of making
cigarette paper has come up with a hopetocease the pollution, specifically littered cigarettes
butts, in addition to whichalsoreduce the number of trees cut down each year for paper
making. According todatafrom the Global Forest Resource Assessment roughly 80,000 to
160,000 trees arecut down each day around the world with a significant percentage being
usedinthepaper industry (Joseph Kiprop, 2018). Besides, the paper contains nicotine
whichcan be used as a mosquito repellent when burned.

ABSTRACT
Antiseptic is defined as a substance that prevents the growth and development of harmful
microorganisms containing chemical agents (biocides). Antiseptics are used extensively in and
out of medical and health institutions to reduce the risk of infection in open wounds. However,
common antiseptics can cause severe skin disorders if applied without diluting it with water,
especially for children. “Children are sensitive little creatures; they have thinner skin than adults,
and their immune systems are rudimentary, so they are not as well-equipped to deal with the
irritants in their environments,” says Francesca Fusco, MD, a dermatologist in private practice in
New York City. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines children as those under the age
of 18 years. Using alcoholic and aqueous chlorhexidine of antiseptics on child medicaments by
pediatricians will cause skin damage, including severe chemical burns. Without further ado, we
propose to invent an all-organic antiseptic from natural sources such as cotton flower and
coconut oil without any synthetic additives. Coconut oil is proven to be effective to treat
wounds because of the antioxidants inside it. Besides, coconut oil also has antimicrobial
properties that may prevent infections. The COT Oil (TCO) will be more effectual as it is an
antiseptic with the presence of cotton flowers. It is because cotton flowers contain vitamin E
that can repair the damaged skin from the injury (Paro).

ABSTRACT
Bread is one of the world’s favourite food. However, it is also one of the most wastedfood.
According to the 2015 study, 25% of the total bread and bakery productioninFlanders is lost
along the supply chain. Based on the approximated total production, this equals 69 million kg
of bread every year. Therefore, the idea of making fertilizer based on stale bread and bread
waste is proposed. In specialized stores thereisahuge number of different fertilizers and
somehow already forgotten one simple, cheap, but effective feeding for plants - bread, which
is probably found in every home. Oneof the main components of bread - yeast, it contains a
lot of nutrients, including growthstimulants and minerals. However, bread as a compost
material has the potential todraw animal pests such as aphids to your compost pile.
Therefore, by mixingthebread with orange peels it can prevent this situation from happening.
Orange peelscontain D-Limonene, a natural chemical that destroys the waxy coating on ants
andaphids, causing them to suffocate and die. Orange peels are highly fragrant, givingoff a
repellent scent to keep ants and aphids away from the garden.

ABSTRACT
Plastic toys are made out of these common plastics which are high and low density polyethylene
(HDPE, LDPE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PC), polycarbonate (PC)
and polyester (PET). These types of plastics are commonly used to manufacture plastic toys
worldwide but there is a catch to the production of these children’s toys. Children love sucking their
toys before, during, and even after playing. Although toys are a source of entertainment for children,
parents especially must bear in mind that these toys contain toxins in some cases. It is reported
that toys can cause laceration, contusion or abrasion, fracture, internal injury, foreign body and
many more. There is also a new report on child injuries and deaths caused by toys. A new report
released by the Consumer Product Safety Commission shows that in 2020, there were 9 deaths
and nearly 150,000 toy-related emergency room visits for children ages 14 and younger. Thus,
parents need to ensure and provide them with safe toys that will not hurt their health. One of the
optimal ways to reduce the usage of plastic is by bringing recyclable plastic bags whenever buying
groceries at supermarkets. Therefore, the method of producing recyclable and biodegradable toys
as in eco-friendly plastic production will be implemented. By using our innovation namely Organic
Baseball, we strive to overcome these issues that keep on dominating the world ca be overcome.
Organic Baseball innovation is mainly made from coconut fibre which is also known as coir. It has
been decided to choose coir as the main ingredient as it is. This innovation will come in regular toy
ball size and will have variation of colours since children tend to be attracted towards colourful
things. This organic baseball will also have a soft texture and light weight so that children’s safety
can be ensured.

ABSTRACT
About 75% of people worldwide are involved in the aquarist field as it is a trending and a
popular hobby which is considered therapeutic and calming in today’s hectic lifestyle. Algae or
cyanobacteria, are microscopic and eukaryotic organisms found naturally in all types of water.
However, the uncontrollable growth of algae in aquariums is one the major problems
encountered by aquarists. Currently, this issue is being tackled by the process of changing the
aquarium water frequently and also using oxygen pumps. These conventional ways are costly
and laborious. In addition, numerous pesticides today which kill algae comes with certain side
effects including perturbing the health of other living creatures inside a pond. Our innovative
project is aimed to provide a green alternative in slowing the algae growth in aquarium. Algon is
a pellet formulated from fermented rice straw which is a waste from the rice industry and other
organic ingredients. This formulation has succesfully inhibited (90%) of algae growth. The
fermentation process produced hexadecanoic acid which is known for its antibacterial
properties. This finding shows that utilizing agricultural waste can benefit aquarists in inhibiting
the growth of algae. Algon, formed into compact pellets, is eco-friendly, convenient and low
cost.

ABSTRACT
Nowadays, learning and studying are becoming quite challenging to students. Due to that,
students around the globe are required to have an effective learning process. Students tend to
lose focus during studying due to distractions around them, such as the hot weather causing
discomfort. Moreover, students tend to waste time finding books and stationeries that are not
in their reachable area. These unnecessary actions consume a lot of time to focus on studies.
To solve this problem, Multifunctional Table (M-TABLE): FOCUS ENHANCING TABLE is an
innovation that aims to help students in dealing with various studying problems, encourage
learning process, engage interests among students to study, utilize small space and save
time. M-TABLE enhances a study table into a converted table that is equipped with gadgets
that help students increase their motivation. M TABLE can be use at all ages as it is height
adjusted. Therefore, it is hoped that the M-TABLE increases interest among students to study
longer and in the long run, it can be an essential tool in every home.

The generation of excessive general waste has increased significantly for over the last few
decades from waste disposal, especially in Malaysia. As for the effects towards human
health, it has proven that one can develop asthma, cancer, cardiovascular, disease and many
more. Pollutions are one of the effect due to the waste. Improper management by person as
citizen contribute to excessive general waste. As for the environment, decomposing waste
emits gases rise to the atmosphere and trap heat. Although the effects are devastating, that
minor action has taken to overcome the problem. Therefore, the Intelligent Bin hereby is
introduced to cope the problems. Hopefully, the intelligent bin will produce green
environment and have a better world for current and next generation.

ABSTRACT
The library of Sekolah Menengah Sains Raja Tun Azlan Shah (SERATAS) is an essential part of
school system in streamlining and the information need of its academic. Newspapers, the
serial publications which contain news on current events of special or general interest, are
generally believed to be vital sources of information. The school’s library will churn out 1.5 kg
of newspaper waste daily, and about more than 100 kg newspaper waste a year. Alternatively,
we proposed the invention of a vase from recycle newspapers. In this research, a composited
namely Ferro vase Cement-Newspaper (FVC-P) were invented. The work frame was divided
into three processes including building vase frame, mixing the mortar and sculpting process. In
this method, 1kg of recycled newspaper was introduced in the mortar mix of sand, cement and
water by using 2:1:1 ratio respectively. After collected and transported to the workshop, the
newspaper was immersed in the water and will be thawed overnight under ambient conditions,
and ground up using a kitchen blender before usage. The effect of introduced the newspaper
waste into the composite structure will be studied by weight parameters and hardness test.
Research findings found out that the introduction of newspaper into the composite had lighter
the weight and increase the hardness of the molded.
