ONCE UPON A TIME

Once upon a time, there was a boy. He lived in a village that no longer exists,
in a house that no longer exist, on the edge of a field that no longer exist,
where everything was discovered, and everything was possible. A stick could be
a sword, a pebble could be a diamond, a tree, a castle.

Once upon a time there was a boy who lived in a house across the field,
from a girl who no longer exist. They made up a thousand games. She was queen
and he was king. In the autumn light her hair shown like a crown. They collected
the world in a small handfuls, and when the sky grew dark, and they parted with
leaves in their hair.

Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was
a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering.

IMPACT OF MEDIA ON SOCIETY

In the modern world any happening in one place can be known to another
place through network called Media. Media is an important network which
cannot be neglected in our lives.

Media has several impact on society. On the positive side, certain disaster
warnings like cyclones, tsunami etc can be broadcast. It also gives important
information for updating our knowledge. It leads to a generation where people
become aware of their everyday life . Media in the form of entertainment is also
most important in many peoples’ lives. It provides job opportunities, reaching
the mind of several people and it creates awareness about many useful and healthy
tips. On the negative side, it creates false moral on younger generation. As
development stands just outside our doorstep due to media, from stone age to
computer age, development jumps. We can say, thus due to development of
Media,we have a better life . Media system works great also in searching the hidden
talents of people, which can be useful in future. It includes inventions and
discoveries. Media in the form of awareness is helpful in avoiding and preparing
for disaster, diseases and calamities. It had helped several poor countries suffering
famine, floods and droughts by creating sponsorships, donation and even rescue
operations by reaching other countries through Media. The significance of the
role of media cannot be over emphasized.

In other words it can be said that Media brings about development in many
ways. If not for media,we would still be living in a very isolated world.
