Phra That Doi Suthep Temple is located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park at an elevation of 1,046 meters above sea level. It was built in 1927 BE. during the reign of Phra Ya Kue Na, and it is one of the most important temples in Chiang Mai. The Buddha’s relics are contained in the chedi. The temple area has a courtyard that is a beautiful viewpoint of Chiang Mai city. Phra That Doi Suthep Temple has also been declared a national historic site. Doi Pui Mong Village, The village of the Hmong hill tribes located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. There are many tourist attractions in the village such as flower garden, waterfall, nature trail, as well as a hill tribe museum that gives knowledge about weaving hemp, writing on fabric with candles, and embroidery of Hmong cloth, etc. There are also shops selling Hmong hill tribe handicrafts. The area around the village also has beautiful natural scenery. Tourists can easily go to Hmong village as it is only 1 hour from the city center. The temple was built during the reign of Queen Jamadevi, the first ruler of the Hariphunchai Kingdom. Phra That Doi Kham temple is where Luang Pho Tanjai is enshrined. which is famous for the holiness of success and prosperity. The temple area also has an observation deck overlooking the surrounding Chiang Mai city. Thapae Walking Street is the largest walking street night market in Chiang Mai, located on Ratchadamnoen Road and Phra Pok Klao Road. The products sold in this market are handmade items such as traditional clothes and bags, silverware, jewelry, drawings, and souvenirs. There are also a variety of local food, snacks, and drinks. Visitors can also enjoy the cultural performances from local youths and other independent artists. Open every Sunday, 17:00 - 22:00 hrs.
