The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to rank institutions of Higher Education in India. A student support centre is introduced by YCCE for assisting the students with queries regarding various areas of the institute. The student support Centre is reachable on www.ycce.edu and the students can ask their queries through the google form provided. This great initiative is operated by Dr. A. P. Munshi (In-Charge, Student Support Centre). YCCE has incorporated a Game Design Course with NORDICMOJO. The Game Design course is created by a successful industry veteran. No other site is as dedicated to game design. Game Design at Edugametion is based on a very theoretical and practical combination making it very powerful educationally. Game Design course is great for game designers, narrative designers and level designers but also for monetization. YCCE introduced a comprehensive 3 Yrs Exclusive Training Program of about 400 hours for the chosen few selected bright students who will undergo specialized job oriented training to achieve Higher Salary Package. YCCE has redefined the Centre of Excellence with Apple Computers and high end Nvidia GPUs. The Centre of Excellence provides the required environment for the students working on researches and projects. The Centre also has a Robotic Arm and other facilities for better learning of AI, ML, and IoT. YCCE has set up its own psychological cell for helping and guiding the students who face difficulties in academic, social and personal life. Yash Maroti Ingale summitted the highest peak of Africa, Uhuru Peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the occasion of 75th Independence Day and danced to a patriotic song for I minute and 45 seconds to pay tribute to all Indian soldiers, and received the world record as the “World’s first person to dance on Mt. Kilimanjaro” on 15th August 2021. 11 Picture Perfect event was in collaboration with Photography Club of YCCE. Participants had to submit their own clicked photographs based on the theme of the competition. CHILDREN DAY CELEBRATION ONLINE COMPETITIONS "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" The NSS unit of YCCE celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2022 with children of Nehru Bal Sadan. NSS had organized some enjoyable activities such as Tug of War, Basketball, Cricket, Musical Chair. The faculty in charge Mrs. Nisha Wankhade ma’am helped in organizing the event. The NSS unit of YCCE organized various online competitions on the occasion of Republic Day, 26 January 2023. The theme for the competitions was “Indian Heritage and Culture”. The aim of the competitions was to bring out the creative expression, artistic skills of the students. The various competition were: I. PICTURE PERFECT: A surprise cake cutting ceremony was a little token of happiness for the children. Head of the orphanage Mr. Gawande, appreciated NSS team for their sincere efforts. 12 CLUBS CLEANLINESS DRIVE NSS The Social Club of YCCE undertook a cleanliness drive in collaboration with NAGPUR PLOGGERS at Ambazari Lake, Nagpur on 4th February 2023. The main objective of this drive was to spread awareness to the Society to keep our city clean and green, to Reduce the Garbage and to promote awareness for the Increasing littering and garbage on the public spots and to save our environment. "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" POSTER DESIGNING The theme of the poster designing competition was “Republic Day”. Participants were asked to design a poster based on the theme CHITRAKALA The theme of Chitrakala was “Indian Culture”. This event was in collaboration with Kalasparsh of YCCE. The drive began at 6:30 in the morning in Guidance of Mr. Ishwar Kohale sir, the team collected 28 bags of Plastic waste that nearly weighted 44 Kgs of plastic waste with 15 Glass Bottles and 31 Plastic Bottles. The Drive came to an end by cleaning nearly all the sidewalk areas of Ambazari lake and the motive of spreading the awareness to the society was successfully completed. "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" 13 SANITARY NAPKINS DONATION DRIVE NSS The Social Club of YCCE organized the Menstrual Awareness & Sanitary Napkins Donation Drive at Jijamata School of Nagpur on 25th March 2023. The main objective of the event was to educate teenagers about menstrual hygiene, breaking the taboo of period talk in the society. The event was welcoming, anybody who was interested in volunteering at the event. Prior to the event, continuous efforts were put by the team to promote, share, and publicize the event. The drive started at 8 in the morning under the guidance of Mr. Ishwar Kohle sir, all the female members of NSS YCCE interacted with girls of school and educated them about periods. The CLEANLINESS DRIVE was successfully organized by NSS unit of YCCE on 17th October 2021 at Variety Square, Sitabuldi, Nagpur. The main purpose of drive was to clean the surrounding area which brings the occurrence of diseases and to raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness in one’s surrounding. NSS | YCCE has collected over 80kg garbage in the presence of faculty incharge Prof. Ishwar Kolhe and Ms. Nisha Wankhede Ma'am along with 100+ volunteers. "ABHIVANDANAM -FELICITATION OF CORONA WARRIORS" ORGANIZED "CLEANLINESS DRIVE" ORGANIZED "TREE PLANTATION DRIVE" CONDUCTED NSS unit of YCCE has organized ABHIVANDANAM - Felicitation of Corona Warriors during 16th - 19th July 2021. The event motived to show gratitude to all those warriors who have selflessly served in the pandemic world. The main purpose of event was to felicitate the Doctors, para-medical staff and to all those who are acted as Frontline workers during COVID-19. "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" 14 INAUGURATION: On June 7, 2022, Young India Chained YCCE, was launched by the Nagpur Police. YIU is a collective for and by the youth to raise awareness on all safety issues plaguing the youth including sex trafficking. It is aimed at nurturing youth leaders who will work to make the city safer for every girl. The initiative called as Young India Unchained (YIU) was launched by Commissioner of Police Mr. Amitesh Kumar, former IPS director general, NDRF civil defence, DR. P M Nair who is a celebrated expert on anti- human trafficking and child protection.The club aims at increasing awareness among the youth on crimes against women and children including sex trafficking. WALK FOR FREEDOM On 15th October,2022, Walk of Freedom was held at Dhanwate National College, Nagpur. The Walk of Freedom is the world's largest awareness walk against human trafficking organised by the nonprofit A21 and brought to India by The Movement. Young India Unchained club of YCCE actively participated in this event to Voice against Human Trafficking. The event was started by Dr J.D. Wadate, principal, Dhanwate National College. The event took place at ground of Dhanwate National Collage, Nagpur. Students from various colleges took initiative. Students were asked their opinions on women safety in the city, and how they would tackle such a situatio. Many of the ideas related to prohibition of human trafficking were shared by the students. A human chain was made to spell “END IT”, which reflected club’s motto. STREET PLAY ON WOMEN EMPOWERMENT On April 21, 2023, Young India Unchained Club organized a street-play on Women Empowerment. The play aimed at addressing biases and promoting gender equality. It was performed in front of the IT Department. It depicted how these prejudices often limit the potential and aspirations of women. The performance highlighted the importance of breaking free from these biases and promoting gender equality. "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" 15 Young India Unchained: The play was a creative medium used to raise awareness for women empowerment. It showcased various notions prevalent in society and their consequences on individuals. Towards the end of the play, a parallel universe was introduced, where all the biases were reversed, and boys experienced firsthand what it feels like to be subjected to such prejudices. This role reversal aimed to create empathy and promote understanding of the challenges faced by women. The event was organized under the guidance of faculty in charge Prof. Vaibhaw Doifode Sir. By challenging societal norms and showcasing the consequences of biases, the play encouraged critical thinking and sparked meaningful discussions among the audience. 16 "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" Green Club YCCE organized an Essay Writing Competition on occasion of National Wildlife Week. The theme for the competition was "My Vision Towards Biodiversity". The aim of the competition was to encourage students to think about the importance of biodiversity and how they can contribute to its conservation. The competition was open to all students of YCCE, and the last date for submission of entries was 6th October 2022. The participants were required to submit their entries in the form of an essay, which could be written in English or Hindi. The response to the competition was overwhelming, the event registered more than 40 entries. The essays were evaluated by a panel of judges, who looked for originality, creativity, and clarity of thought in the writeups. Overall, the competition was a great success and helped raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity conservation among the students of YCCE. The competition was held from 27th of October 2023 to 30th of October 2023. The competition registered positive responses. AD-MAKING COMPETITION
Green Club organized an Intra-college Photography Competition, to celebrate the National Wildlife week observed from 2nd to 8th of October every year in India. The theme of the program was ‘My Contribution Towards Biodiversity’. This program aimed at developing photography skills among the students and spreading awareness on protecting and preserving India’s flora and fauna. It was a creative event where participants were asked to submit a photograph. 17 SECOND EDITION 2021 "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" III Edition CAMPUS EXPRESS 2023 CLUBS III Edition CAMPUS EXPRESS 2023 Green Club of YCCE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION The photographs were judged based on audience appeal, creativity, clarity of expression, originality, and uniqueness. Overall, this event served the purpose of developing the feeling of protecting biodiversity among the students and was a great success. It also provided a platform for students to showcase their photography skills. The Green Club is looking forward to organizing more such events in the future to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. " Only if we understand… we can care, Only if we care…we will help, Only if we help… they shall be saved." SAVE THE PAWS SEMINAR Green Club YCCE organized a seminar on the topic "Save The Paws". The aim of the program was to spread awareness about animals who are in need and become the voice for the voiceless. The event was organized on December 9, 2022, open to all students. The seminar registered positive participation. The seminar was organized at the CCC auditorium of YCCE.

The main objective of this programme was to spread awareness among the people about the significance of cleanliness and its benefits. Members of Green club, Nagpur Ploggers as well as the local people took part in the cleanliness drive. The Program began at 7:15 in the morning. During this activity volunteers cleaned the Aamrai ground. They picked up the plastic bags, plastic bottles, glass bottles, paper garbage, etc from the ground and then handed it over to Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Thereafter, Mr. Shubhankar, member of Nagpur Ploggers gave a quick introduction about their club. Participants were given a chance to share their experiences of the drive. All the participants submitted their incredible work via Google Forms for the duration of one week, from December 7, 2022, to December 14, 2022. After reading and reviewing all those articles, some masterpieces were selected, and the winners were declared as follows: 1st Vedant Gaurkar, 2nd Aniket Bhandwalkar, and 3rd Arin Saynere. E-certificates were imparted to all the participants. "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" ODYSSEY, an online quiz competition that was the first event of the astronomy club, was hosted and conducted on an open-source platform, Quizziz, on October 16, 2022. The survey identified the gaps and barriers that students face in accessing career guidance services, especially in rural and underprivileged areas. The club activities started on 28th Nov 2022, and since then, our sports club members from the 2nd and 3rd years have actively participated in every session, engaging in various activities. As it is often said, ‘First impression is the last impression,’ the core committee began the first week with an introduction to the club and its activities. Moving on to the second week, the students were asked to share their interests and achievements in the field of sports. Through this process, we discovered that the 1st-year students have great potential, and with some guidance from the sports club, they are likely to perform well in their respective sports. In the third week, a few fun events were organized to foster mutual understanding and bonding among the club members as well as the students. We held inter-section football matches for the 1st-year students to boost their confidence and competitiveness. It also helped us identify some talented football players from the 1st year. Approximately 60 to 70 students participated in this activity. Similarly, we also organized inter-section cricket matches for the 1st-year students, aiming to boost their confidence and competitiveness and discover talented cricket players. The club represented their dance through the wordings of Kaviraj Bhushan Ji from his poem "Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji". Rangitaleem "This section consists of various activities and achievements from the Institutional Clubs" AVYANNA- A SELF DEFENCE WORKSHOP III Edition CAMPUS EXPRESS 2023 On 7th January 2023, Engineering India, YCCE did collaboration with Youth For Sewa(YFS) and organized the event under the title of “Rangitaleem” at YFS centre, Omkar Nagar, Nagpur. The aim of the event was educating, and helping the children in need by various activities. The activities held here motivated children to present their poetries, and enjoyed by doing fun activities. The main attraction of this workshop was to learn self defense with a tool “YASHTI” by a professional trainer, hired by group. Each day the trainer conducted various exercises and taught different forms of “PRAHAR”. The event was success, the workshop happened smoothly and successfully with over 60 participants. They made different Rangolis (using colors) depicting various themes like portraits and sanskar bharti. The Art Exhibition event was a platform for 50 artists including our college students as well as outside college students to showcase their skills and creativity in arts. The Art Exhibition “The Art Exhibition” provided an opportunity for the artists to share their work with the public and for art enthusiasts to explore and appreciate the diversity and beauty of visual art. It was conducted on 18 – 19 April 2023, near Admin Block, YCCE. YCCE Media and Literature club introduced new students of our institution virtually. On 6th July 2021, YCCE Broadcasting Hub premiered the video on YouTube consisting of the students stating their brief intro, background of their branch. The students were asked some questions such as: why did they chose engineering as career? How did the people react upon getting them known as an engineering student? Some students answered wisely, and some spoke the truth! They had fun while introducing themselves. The video got 3000+ views on the YouTube channel and received 190- likes. Lastly, one thing that made everyone happy was that the college still manages to conduct various types of events, fests and competitions throughout the year. This gave students a sense of being in the college in some or the other way and got a chance to learn various things from different events and competitions. MEME WAR - The MEME COMPETITION was successfully organized by YCCE Media on 21st July 2021 for the college students. The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. The themes for the competition were Family Man (web series), Jobs after online education, Types of people in lockdown. The competition was organized in three stages. At first, students were asked to submit their entries through a google form. Qualified entries for the second round were given templates on which they made memes. In the last round a thirty minutes video clip was shown to the participants to make a meme out of that video clip. All the participants followed the provided guidelines and made the event humorous. Mr. Mr. Sanket Silare bagged the first position followed by Mr. Aditya Tapase in the second position and the third position was secured by Mr. Pranav Pandit. Webinar on “Cyber Security” in association with Abner Security An interesting session on cyber security was organized by YCCE media in Association with Abner security on 26th September 2021. The Founder CEO of Abner security Mr. Shuvamoy Roy briefly describe Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security. The live demonstration of ethical hacking grab the attention of students the idea of the bug bounty hunting was also explained. Mr. Roy also discuss various competitions related to ethical hacking the webinar ended with the question and answer session the students presented their positive opinion for the webinar when presented as a total 198 students attend the live session via MS team.

The inauguration of the magazine was done by the principal of YCCE Dr. U. P. Waghe, Dr. P. K.Dakhole, Registrar, YCCE. This newsletter showcased all the faculties and students achievements, all the clubs and college events reports, Photographs of the year, Data of Training and Placement cell of YCCE. The efforts behind this data collection and representation were taken by Yash Netke, Sakshi Kohad, Hariyali Mansata, Anjali Gabhane, Kshitij Bhasme.The college sponsored to print 36 physical copies of Campus Express. Dance Workshop A dance workshop was organized at YCCE by ‘Dance It Out’ academy in collaboration with YCCE Media & Nrutyakala – Dance club YCCE on 11th June 2022. Mr. Abhishek Goenka (Founder, Dance It Out) and Ms. Sanskriti Warambhey (Member, Dance It Out) were the trainers for the workshop. Vedant Gaurkar HINDI DIWAS On account of ‘Hindi Diwas’, Literature Club and Language Lab of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur organized an event ‘Hindi Diwas Celebration’ on 14th August 2022. Mr. Manish Kulkarni, Bureau Chief, Hindusthan Samachar News Agency was the Chief Guest for this event. Faculty InCharge Mr. Ajinkya Edlabadkar and Dr. Meenal Kale were there to grace the event, Mr. Fazil Sheikh, Assistant faculty InCharge of Computer Science and Engineering Department was invited as the guest performer. Mr. Manish Kulkarni explained the journey of the origin of the Hindi language. He precisely and clearly made everyone aware about the Importance of Hindi Language. Teacher's Day 5th September 2022, On the occasion of National Teacher's Day, YCCE MEDIA expressed their gratitude towards the dedicated teachers of YCCE through a video. The video comprises of short clips of students from every department praising and thanking their teachers and the head of departments. This video was released on "YCCE OFFICIAL", the official YouTube channel of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering and has 600+ views and 40+ likes. Mr. Ajinkya Edlabadkar entertained attendees and enlightened the event. Mr. Fazil Sheikh shared his own written Hindi ‘Shayaris’. Dr. Meenal Kale, shared her perspective and presented the importance of each existing language. Ms. Unnati Samrit and Mr. Hatim Bawangaonwala compered the program. Lata Mangeshkar On 28th September 2021, YCCE Media celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Lt. Lata Mangeshkar virtually as a tribute to her contribution to the music industry. The video showed the biography of Lt. Lata Mangeshkar and also presented few of her memorable songs.The participants of the video included students from YCCE, VNIT and LAD college. Abdul Kalam Magazine On the occasion of the Birth anniversary of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, on 15th October 2021, The Language Lab & The Literature Club & YCCE Media as a tribute to Sir Kalam’s contribution to the technology and nation, released a magazine consisting of the eBook links of the books of Sir A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. The magazine consisted of 10 books. The Language Lab & YCCE Media received an overwhelming response, appreciation and received positive feedback from the readers.
