ABSTRACT In Malaysia, some of the gig economy household names are Foodpanda, Grab and Lalamove. This economic sector has been growing promisingly thanks to the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Ever since then, new careers have emerged in this sector. Kiddocare which was established in 2018 is the first Malaysian company to establish an on-demand babysitting platform and actively offers new types of care services. This qualitative case study explores its business model in the gig economy sector, the ways this sector helps their business as well as the challenges faced by the company. Besides that, this research also aims to study how Kiddocare fares with SDG 8 (Decent work and Economic Growth). For a reliable and valid result, an interview with a company personnel and secondary data analysis of their official website, past interviews and news articles were carried out. Data collected was then analysed using thematic analysis in order to find emerging themes. The findings show that Kiddocare provides a flexible business model which fits the criteria of the gig economy sector. On the other hand, some of the challenges they encounter in creating new careers is building trust among parents and community as new careers. As per SDG 8, Kiddocare is fastidious in ensuring fair wages and skills of their care workers in order to work in the most convenient environment without compromising the quality of their services. Hence, in efforts at creating more familiarity among Malaysians, a partnership and mentorship with the government would be helpful for everyone involved. ABSTRACT With the drastic uprising of Artificial Intelligence, various industries are revolutionizing by implementing A.I. into their workforce in terms of labor and innovations. Consequently, this has caused an increase in unemployment due to job replacement by A.I. and indirectly endangers human creativity in countless sectors namely innovations. The objective of this study is to unravel the influence of AI in the industrial revolution 4.0 in terms of innovation, infrastructure and the industry itself. Hence, providing possible solutions for the calamity of humanity vs productivity. The research methodology utilized is mixed method correlational research by means of studying governmental policies and scholarly articles from established websites as well as interviews with personnels from A.I. based agencies. The analysis of the interview will be carried out afterwards. The study revealed that a significant amount of industries have fully automated workforce in at least one function all around the world. Thus, threatening job displacement at an immense scale especially in fields of industry regarding product and service oriented professions in addition to increase in poverty rate due to unemployment. Moreover, implementations of A.I. indirectly endangers the creativity of humans. Therefore, in efforts to maximize the potential of A.I. NORTHERN ZONE LOCAL “Global peace and prosperity” TEACHER ADVISOR MUHAMMAD AZWAN BIN SHARI EXPLORING THE LINK BETWEEN FOOD INSECURITY AND SCHOOL ABSENTEEISM IN URBAN AREAS IN MALAYSIA MUHAMMAD HARITH ERWIN BIN MOHLIS, AFNI SAFIYYAH BINTI NOR AZRI, AISYATUL RODHIAH BINTI MOHAYUDDIN REDZUAN, MUHAMMAD RAYYAN SYAHMIE BIN MOHD IZHAM. ABSTRACT A household's economic and social difficulties identified as "food insecurity" are defined by limited or insecure access to appropriate nutrition. Several factors, such as financial status, job status, ethnicity or racial background, and disabilities, may have an impact on food insecurity. Household food insufficiency impacts not only early children's typical physical growth but also their cognitive abilities and social abilities. Physical access to food may be affected by neighborhood characteristics. Studies have shown a strong correlation between poor student attendance and food insecurity in households. The objective of this review was to carefully locate, evaluate, and consolidate the best available data on the relationship between malnutrition and absenteeism from school in urban areas. All the appropriate research for this review was found using the following initial keywords or search terms which is school attendance and food insecurity from Google Scholar databases utilizing relevant keywords and search phrases. All questions asked to the respondents for evaluation underwent a comprehensive and independent evaluative procedure. The test for the general impact had a strong significance level at conventional levels, and there was little variation among the papers suitable for review. Overall, the review's findings showed a strong association between home food insecurity and students' school absences. Therefore, when developing national nutrition policies, it is important to acknowledge the effects of home food insecurity. Programs like school meal programs also need to be enhanced in order to achieve zero hunger amongst students in urban areas in Malaysia. ABSTRACT The graphic industry, part of the gig economy, includes professionals offering freelance gigs in graphic design, printing, digital media, and advertising. People working in the graphic industries have increased since the pandemic, but fewer are doing so full-time than before. This is due to the misunderstandings of the potential that people have about the graphic sector, which has led to its undervaluation. Because the industry played a significant role in many ways, it is crucial to update it. Therefore, this study intends to improve the graphic arts sector so that it can benefit those who are involved in the field, combat the rising unemployment rate, and show how to create a viable future for a career in the gig economy. The research methodology conducted is systematically synthesizing gathered studies through the umbrella review, historical research detailed on published articles as well as interviews with the veteran and freelance graphic designers. Studies have shown that the global graphic design industry has revenues of $45 billion dollars in 2020, has grown modestly (3-4%) over the past five years, and is expected to remain flat or slightly decrease in the next five years. To wrap up our studies, we had planned to create a people-centered corporate culture to aid the public in pursuing a part-time degree in graphic design. Another suggestion is to widen the variety of jobs in the graphic art industry to expand the employment opportunities. ABSTRACT As of May 2023, more than 110 million individuals were forcibly displaced worldwide. This marks the largest ever single-year increase in forced displacement in United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNCHR) history. On that note, Malaysia also acts as a host for UNCHR thus its residents also could be affected by refugees who come to Malaysia to seek asylum. The objectives of this study are to discover the perception of the social and cultural effects of refugees on host communities. This study employed the survey research design, and the sample comprises 80 respondents from rural and urban areas. The instrument was adopted based on Croucher and Kramer (2017). The findings show positive cultural diversity, intercultural exchanges and increased societal variety. However, intergroup tensions and the need to adapt societal norms surface as challenges, emphasizing the intricate dynamics at play. This study acknowledged the multifaceted nature of refugee-host interaction, paving the way for comprehensive understanding and effective policy planning. ABSTRACT For several decades now, Malaysia has suffered from gender and economic inequalities and discrimination. Inequalities between gender and economic status are the persistent issues in Malaysia that has led to discrimination on the basis, causing certain genders and people with low-income status to be routinely privileged or prioritised over another. The objective of this study is to explain what are the effects of inequalities between gender and economic status and how to interlace and bridge these inequalities among secondary school students in Kedah predominantly in education. We had conducted this research by using mixed-methods which are qualitative and quantitative. A set of survey questions that had been validated were given to 250 respondents which had catered the students, teachers and administrators. A statistical analysis of SPSS is being used to analyse the data findings and find the correlation of the survey with the gaps found. Interviews were being conducted to 3 experts in the study to find the detailed and rich data to get more ground ideas on these inequalities. The study had shown one in two Malaysians faced discrimination in school. Hence, in effort of bridging the gaps between gender and economic status inequalities, some possible solutions are being recommended for schools along with the parents to educate children, preferably at young age on gender and economic equality. ABSTRACT Crises come and go. It applies to hunger too. Starvation had caused suffering and complications to human advancement. Even with everything we have achieved, we cannot deny the risk that a problem might arise due to factors that grew out of our sight, and in the end, a crisis ensues. In Perak, the people’s involvement in agriculture and animal husbandry sectors are under par despite high demand from consumers. Factors like poor public policy and bad economy after the pandemic have opened ways to starvation. Therefore, the aim of this study is to focus on ways that have been established to mitigate the conciseness risk. By highlighting the agenda of zero hunger via Perak Sejahtera Plan 2030, the state government took the initiatives in Perak Food Security Action Plan 2022-2030. This is a collaboration of Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation (SADC) and Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR). Regarding this, research methodologies that comprise of qualitative methods through interviews with professional people of this field and quantitative methods via virtual surveys and questionnaires had been carried out. This study revealed that Perak brings the initiatives of combating food hunger by reinforcing community supply chains, empowering the usage of technology, increasing trade financing for agricultural commodities, diversifying imported sources as well as expanding collaboration in the private sector. By this way, the efforts may create a more resilient food security system to the locals. These measures can help ease the crises that arise in the food security of Perak. VISWANATHAN CITIZEN’S PATHWAYS: EXPLORING CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN DELIVERY SERVICES MUHAMMAD HAKIMI IRFAN BIN SHARIZAN, AJMAL WASEM BIN FARHAN, ARDINI ZAHIRAH BT ZULKIFLY, AINUL MARDHIAH BT RODZI. ABSTRACT The scarcity of job opportunities in the current scenario has led to a significant proportion of the workforce being constrained to working as delivery personnel for the food and beverage (F&B) sector, posing a complex issue that demands attention and investigation. This study aims to explore the impact of job market competition in Malaysia on those who have chosen the delivery services industry as a long-term profession, focusing on job satisfaction, motivations, and challenges. To achieve these objectives and address the research questions, a mixed-method approach was adopted. Initial data collection involved a survey questionnaire, followed by interviews with selected riders to gain deeper insights from survey responses. Thorough analysis was conducted through both statistical and thematic methods. The findings revealed that despite lacking the stability and benefits of traditional employment, delivery workers experienced higher job satisfaction when they had autonomy over their schedules and tasks. However, challenges such as income unpredictability, fatigue, and exposure to accidents were prominent. To enhance the well-being of food delivery riders, government intervention is essential. Establishing better working conditions, including safety measures and providing training programs to reduce accidents are crucial steps. However, past research shows that the main reason for discrimination in social class is the difference of income in the family. The main objective of this research revolves around the analysis towards the existence of discrimination of youths living in their respective social classes. This study seeks to provide insight and contribution to a deeper understanding of broader societal discrimination. This research employs quantitative methods by administering questionnaires to different social classes to identify the key results in discrimination. Thirty respondents among local youth randomly participate in this research in Bagan Datoh. The research unveiled that discrimination amongst society is present most in low income neighbourhoods of Bagan Datoh. The main factor causing these issues comes down to their socio-economic situation where their parents academic background, their family structure, profession and home location impacts the amount of wealth these youths hold. Hence, the proposed solution for the government is to revamp the national education system to provide a medium for the process of peacebuilding for youths. Furthermore, Another approach could be made by the government by providing incentives in the form of monetary funds towards the youths in need for them participating in the peacebuilding of education. During and post pandemic, drone pilots all over the world have been recognised as booming careers in the gig economy sector, Yet, in Malaysia, the existing professionals handling drones cannot meet the increasing job demands due to the public’s lack of awareness of this newly emerging career. Hence, this research examines and compares level of awareness in the aforementioned focus between two groups - SMSAH students and Drone Challenge participants. To obtain a reliable result, mixed methods of research was opted. 183 SMSAH students and 54 from Drone Challenge participants responded to a 25-item survey and interviews. Data collected exhibits that the level of awareness in drone piloting for these two groups is similar which is highly moderate. Through inferential data analysis for unpaired T-test, it is found that the difference in the level of awareness between SMSAH students (M=3.58, SD=0.40) and Drone Challenge participants (M=3.56, SD=0.43) is not statistically significant. Suggestions to enhance awareness in drone piloting among students were issued too. 85% of respondents wish for aggressive school campaigns on drones, 84% request for the establishment of Drone Club in school while 61% propose the government to provide more full-time drone jobs in our country. ABSTRACT Malaysia is known as a multiracial country. Vernacular schools are established for the purpose of educating students on the syllabus and the language of their origin country, but as time passes by, these types of schools only create friction between students of different races. We believe that if one were to nurture something, it is better to start from young. Schools must play their part by creating inclusive environments, educate students about diversity, and enforce policies that promote equality and respect for all. The objective of this study is to research ways to nurture the inclusivity of people from different races in school and daily surroundings. The research methodology utilized is google search and interviews with teachers. The analysis and simplification of articles will be carried out afterwards. Studies reveal that students of different ethnic and racial origins often discriminate against each other. This creates an unsuitable environment for learning and causes a huge problem for people of varying races as they grow up. In efforts to reduce racism in students, teachers and students must work together. Standardisedschool settings are a huge but effective step that could be taken to combat the discrimination between different races. Ergo, local authorities in Malaysia are facing enormous challenges in satisfying the needs of the public while providing the facilities for various stakeholders. Previous studies show numerous criticisms and complaints regarding the incapability of the local authorities in managing and maintaining public facilities. The objectives of this study are to identify catastrophic failures of public infrastructure and provide relevant solutions for the problem. The research methodology employed is qualitative correlational research using meta-analysis. This entails examining governmental policies and scholarly articles from reputable websites. A study pinpointed the lack of maintenance management awareness, making reactive maintenance the go-to solution to Malaysia's maintenance problems. This lack of understanding contributes to the massive manifestation of building defects in Malaysia's public buildings, making maintenance programs more expensive. It also concurred that the lack of or insufficient knowledge of maintenance management is responsible for maintenance problems in Malaysian universities. To ensure that SDG-9 is achieved in the near future, humans can benefit from AI by using it to remotely monitor the condition of already existing infrastructure via risk assessment and optimise the use of energy and resources. These measures can aid local maintenance management programs in developing more efficient methods of execution, expedite the implementation of predictive maintenance nationwide, and drastically increase levels of infrastructural integrity. However, there is still a lack of awareness among youth about their potential as peacemakers. It's essential to shift the perception of youth from one of rebellion and chaos to one that highlights their role as agents of peace in our ever-changing world. Hence, the objective of this research is to foster a peaceful civil society. This goal will be pursued by raising awareness about the importance of peacebuilding through Service Learning, ultimately empowering youth.Mixed method correlational research by the means of meta analysis from a series of literature reviews from credible sources in addition to a survey questionnaire targeting secondary school youth who’ve had no experience with Service Learning. The survey questionnaire analysis will be carried out through the means of SPSS. Research findings indicate that Service Learning yields favorable social and civic results. In terms of social outcomes, research indicates that Service Learning (SL) promotes solidarity, empathy, and community engagement in 13% of cases, and boosts recognition of diversity and intercultural understanding in 12%. Regarding citizenship outcomes, SL enhances recognition of volunteering (14%), increases commitment, justice, and social responsibility (53%), and raises awareness of social issues (33%). Thus, from our research findings we believe Service Learning should be integrated in the upper secondary school civic curricular to increase the social responsibility of youths through community engagement. Thus, consequently raising the awareness of youth on their role as an agent of peace. It continuously improves its systems to make up for technological deficiencies as AI perseverance completes human limitations. Moreover, the need of cybersecurity architecture in economic systems is mandatory to promote exceptional security of valuable data. As demand for AI's assistance in agriculture escalates, its unregulated algorithms, which are constantly expanding, become vulnerable for cyberattacks to infiltrate robotic farming systems. Our study aims for a clearer understanding on the implication of AI, focusing on agriculture systems that materialise enormous benefits overweighing the threats it poses. In this research, we have conducted an online survey via Google Form to evaluate farmers’ exposure of AI and cybersecurity assets and liabilities on their farming development. Analysis of the literature on the topic indicated that most people are aware of the importance of AI use in their life. Consequently, the present generation urges the government to implant an AI-driven system as the stepping stone to innovate the underlying cause of advanced agricultural operations to reduce the Food Insecurity Experience Scale (FIES) and improve food security and sustainability for eternal salvation. Hence, possessing vast knowledge on AI algorithmic patterns is an obligation to fully utilise AI’s capabilities towards a better design framework as it gives us the golden opportunity to stay ahead in the virtue and vice of augmented industries in our era. MUHAMMAD NIZAM, AIMI INSYIRAH BT. ABDUL RAHMAN, NUR AINA SYAFIYAH BT MUHAMMAD NUBLI ABSTRACT During the Great Recession of the late 2000s, the global trade market nearly collapsed, marking a 15% decline between 2008 and 2009. The rate of unemployment globally rose by 3% between 2007 and 2010, resulting in an astonishing 30 million jobs lost. As a result, more and more people were choosing to work as independent workers as opposed to working as full-time employees. One of the careers that rose up into the spotlight was food delivery. This was for its prevalence among people who were unable to leave their houses for food and its high-paying income. This research aims to understand the consequences of freelances like food delivery services and their contribution towards the global economy, to research the social status of food delivery workers outside of the traditional economy, and to summarize on what can be done as efforts in the independent workforce to ensure the security and inclusivity of the global industry. In order to achieve this, we amassed information quantitatively and qualitatively, which incorporated methods such as surveys and interviews, inferential statistical analysis, questionnaires and analyzing journal articles and documentaries that have been published and uploaded on the Internet. From this, we concluded that food delivery services play a huge role indeed in economic growth. Yet, inequity shrouds this promise. At a time of change, education equity becomes our compass to a just future. This probes education's transformative power. Education must be spread out evenly throughout every individual in order to achieve peace even for those with impoverished lives. Our aim is to find a way to make education available for all, thus creating a peaceful era. Creating education for all involves building schools in all areas, making it affordable, including students with different needs. Our research suggests that equity for education has been a big question to all. Other than that, a qualitative approach through interview sessions is carried out by dint of obtaining the appropriate data. We found out that better education is harder to get when you have worse socioeconomic status and inequality in education is one of the factors that stops us from creating a more harmonious future. In digital banking particularly, there have been anxieties and uncertainties resulting from AI implementation among consumers and employees. Some banks face problems recruiting employees who are ready to undertake this new venture and convincing their consumers to use their digital services. Additionally, existing employees are threatened by the introduction of AI in the industry. The objectives of this study are to discover how the implementation of AI creates a novel archetype in banking (i.e. digital banking), to find out whether the introduction of AI in digital banking affects employment in the finance sector, and to provide suggestions on how financial institutions can develop digital banking at a more efficient rate. The research methodology utilised is mixed-methods involving surveys, interviews and studying financial stability review reports regarding digital banking. The interview transcripts and review reports are analysed and results from the survey questionnaire are presented in bar graphs. The finding of the study shows that Bank Negara has granted licenses to five companies to develop digital banking, creating a novel archetype in banking. Another finding revealed that employment is secured with new jobs that arise with the use of AI in the finance sector. Finally, based on the findings, it is recommended that financial institutions incorporate a customer-centric design, promote and align their vision and push employee development to accelerate digital banking. Despite the potential advantages this demographic shift could offer to the country's development, the challenges associated with integrating into a new society have left these individuals grappling with an internal struggle. This study focuses on the impact of a virtual-village as a mechanism to manage aggression levels among Displaced Persons (DPs), subsequently influencing the perception of localized DPs within Malaysia. Employing a two-fold methodology, this research commences with a systematic review of existing literature concerning DPs. This review serves to identify, correlate, and construct potential strategies for addressing the stated issue. Subsequently, a mixed-method approach is employed, incorporating open-ended questionnaires to facilitate both pre and post assessments of a field experiment. Control groups were also identified for better results. The collected data undergoes rigorous analysis, comparing responses from pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Notably, the research showcases positive outcomes, with reduced aggression scores observed among DPs, aligning with anticipated results. Aggressive tendencies initially rated within the "Mid-High" range experience a notable reduction to a "Low" score. Furthermore, the postintervention phase reveals a discernible elevation in the perception scores of local communities towards DPs. This shift underscores the effectiveness of interventions in positively influencing public sentiment. To facilitate assimilation, the study advocates widespread adoption of virtual support spaces in enhancing integration. Authorities managing DPs in Malaysia should implement such interventions, harnessing their potential as productive contributors to Malaysian society and definitively our economy. NIK MUHAMMAD AQIL HARIS BIN NIK MUHAMMAD NIZAM, NUR RAIHANA AL-INSYIRAH BINTI MOHD DURAIBI, NUR AFIQAH BINTI AHMAD HAMDAN, MUHAMMAD ZARIF IKHWAN BIN RIDZWAN ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence or AI, for short in its crudest, simplest term is a series of coding that could think. Hence, the name. Yet AI is not as simple as it was made out to be. Artificial intelligence is a series of program codes that allow said program to think and react or decide appropriately from what it manages to scour and learn from orders, its own environment and the situation. AIs usually are confined by Isaac Asimov's 4 Laws of Robotics which prevents them from intentionally bringing harm or through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm as is in line with the 1st and 4th rule. In the current status quo, AI is slowly and surely influencing and assimilating with every sector we can think of, from manufacturing to domestic. One of the most prominent sectors with their liberal usage of AI is the healthcare industry. AI is used in information administration, diagnostics, surgery, organ transplantation and more. This marks the new age of advancement in healthcare services as it continues to improve in terms of accuracy whether it be to innovate or to diagnose. While certain people might argue astringently that the current healthcare system is set in aspic, what we need to realise is its the era of transition between the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and 5.0 in that is to say there is a need to flow with the time. Southeast Asia (SEA) indicates a serious Global Hunger Index (GHI) of 29.58 in 2000 and a moderate 15.13 in 2022. Notwithstanding the statistics that evince a declining trend, major challenges still withstand. The research aims to debunk the misconception that “hunger crisis only happens in Africa” and provide existing initiatives which require more acknowledgement from the governments to outsource it to a larger scale - establishing an international standard. The research methodologies utilised are mixed-methods, which encompasses qualitative and quantitative research via meta-analysis of non-governmental organisations’ (NGO) statistics, established media outlets’ articles and videos along with scholarly theses. Afterwards, a comparative analysis will be conducted to derive insightful conclusions. Our study reveals that 25% of the global food waste (approximately 50 million tonnes) is contributed by SEA. This is disheartening as it is enough to feed 100 million people for one whole year. Ergo, to combat against the aforementioned predicament, we have concluded that the best step to move forward involves a workflow of increasing the acknowledgement, encouraging people to involve themselves in existing companies that are combatting food wastes and further investing in research and development (R&D), which caters towards the same cause. These approaches must refer to the blueprint that the United Nations (UN) has provided for us, i.e. Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger (SDG 2). However, the plight of Pakistan in this regard is often overlooked. Despite the term only gaining recognition in the mid-70s, it is important to acknowledge the significant role that food security has played in shaping Pakistan's history. Food insecurity has had a detrimental impact on the nation, leaving it vulnerable to severe food shortages. Unfortunately, a minority of Pakistan's population suffers from undernourishment, with the most vulnerable being children and the elderly. This has resulted in stunting and growth deficiencies among young children. Recognizing this dire situation, the government and non-government organisations in Pakistan have taken measures to address this problem. Through surveys and online research, valuable data has been collected and analysed, shedding light on the alarming state of food insecurity in Pakistan. It is evident that food security is not only vital for the well-being of the nation but also for its social, political, and economic stability. Therefore, it is imperative that comprehensive efforts are made to ensure a prosperous life for the people of Pakistan. By doing so, the health and well-being of individuals will be improved besides fostering a stable and harmonious society within the nation. They are also unable to pursue their former work, leading to unemployment, underemployment or informal work, and a significant drop in income. Natural Disasters are known to leave significant impacts towards the human population. In this case, human displacement is one of the impacts. In that instance, the rate of human displacement is worrying as it has been increasing aggressively to this day. According to the World Health Organization, 700 million people are at-risk of being displaced as a result of drought by 2030. Based on research statistics from various sources, the number of people internally displaced by natural disasters hit a record high of 71.1 million last year. This could lead to much more effects on the world. The objective of this research is to investigate the ripple effects of human displacement following natural disasters. We used several methods for our research, mainly online research and a survey among the communities to collect data regarding our objective. Our research objectives are to (1) Identify the impact magnitude that emerging gig careers have on us students, (2) To analyze the evolution of the stigma surrounding the modern entertainment industry and (3) To speculate the possible myriad of future careers that the youth will face. The methodology used for this research is quantitative observational research by means of distributing questionnaires to the students of KUSESS as well as conducting interviews with young experts in the online entertainment sector. The study has revealed that there is indeed an increase of individuals more prone to pursue a career path in the online entertainment industry if the powerhouse continues its steady rise to global prestige. This is influenced by the increase of social media influencers (Twitch streamers, YouTubers, etc.) gaining revenue and attention in recent years. Further on, the stigma surrounding modern entertainment has also improved drastically with the younger generation recognizing the significance of online entertainment. In foresight, an effort to influence the youth’s perspective on ‘prestigious careers’ would be to expose them to real working environments whether in predictable, long-term careers or in the spontaneous gig industry. The Gini coefficient, a metric where 0.0 signifies perfect equality and 1.0 absolute inequality, serves as a useful indicator of such disparity. This study aims to explore the causes of income inequality both globally and within Malaysia, proposing mitigation strategies aligned with the United Nations' 10th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 10), which focuses on reducing inequalities. Employing a qualitative approach, the study uses document analysis and synthesises findings through a qualitative data matrix. Findings indicate that factors such as globalisation, educational disparity and technological advancement have exacerbated income inequality worldwide. In Malaysia, the urban-rural divide, ethnic and educational disparities, and technological changes have led to a Gini coefficient of 0.404 in 2022, as per the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM). The study recommends implementing mitigation strategies—like strengthening the progressive taxation system, providing inclusive education, implementing skill development initiatives, bridging the urbanrural gap and reinforcing the social protection mechanisms—to achieve Target 10.1 of SDG 10. Aligning national policies with SDG 10's objectives could help reduce widening income gaps. Peacebuilding is a long process of promoting communication, repairing connections and reforming institutions, especially through the political arena. The UNDI18 initiative that started in 2016 was founded by visionary students to lower the required voting age in Malaysia from 21 to 18 years old. Thus, the objectives of our research are to know whether youths are ready to vote and if they will be voting towards peacebuilding. We also would like to determine whether they will go out and vote when the time comes. Next, the methodology used was literature review and we also distributed online surveys to form 1 until form 3 students from various ethnicities because they are eligible to vote in the next five years. Based on the results, we found that 60% students were ready to vote while 40% were unsure. An overwhelming 73% of students were dedicated to voting towards peacebuilding, 18.4% were unsure and 8.6% were not for various reasons. Ultimately, 47.4% agreed to go out and cast their votes in the next general election while 8% would not and the rest 44.6% were unsure. The implications of this research are that the youths are very much inclined and positive towards peace and harmony, and accept that politics is one powerful tool in peacebuilding. Within this context, it can be derived that youth plays an integral role in redirecting society’s course in strengthening global peace. It is essential to shed light on specific stakeholders and scopes in peacebuilding such as background and education to solve the issue at hand. From a local perspective, youth empowerment lacks aspects of basic education exposure and support from society itself which can be clearly seen through the blatant stereotypes put on the younger generation. Ultimately, this leads to a deterrence in peacebuilding on a national scale. The purpose of this study is to determine the current situation of youth empowerment in Malaysia, whether all layers of society are aware of its importance in peacebuilding and identifying efforts in preserving peace through youth in status quo whilst taking into account the stakeholders mentioned above. Using a cross-sectional analysis, this study managed to analyse how background, culture and environment influence local education and exposure in empowering youth, with outcomes differing in both urban and rural communities. These recorded statistics succeed in paving the way to more efficient resolutions which will hopefully obtain support from NGOs for young peacebuilders and direct self-representation in the local community to provide them a platform to voice out their concerns in the context of peace and justice. ABSTRACT On par with United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 9, safety is one the most sought after features in artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Often known as Facial Recognition Technology (FRT), it detects and distinguishes between human faces in digital images, having the potential to improve societal safety and security, reduce illicit activity, and improve consumer experience. Yet, many have expressed concerns regarding the harm to individuals' right to confidentiality and the potential of data misuse. Therefore, the aim of this research is to study and analyse the 21stcentury school students along with the younger (millennials) and older generation (Gen X) teachers’ perceptions and attitudes towards the usage of face detection technology and how it affects their daily life. This study was conducted by using the mixed-method with the distribution of questionnaires to Form 4 and Form 5 students and interviewing some teachers in an integrated fully residential school located in Jempol, Negeri Sembilan. It is concluded that almost all students and teachers shared the same perception of facial recognition systems innovation in entertainment-based applications such as Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok has grown in prominence and accessibility. Based on their overall attitude, the participants were optimistic to the rise of AI and strongly inclined to take control of their personal information transparency from being used in innovation development. Therefore, this research is expected to be useful in highlighting the acceptance behind Facial Recognition Technology (FRT) data transparency among 21st century users and applications. SOUTHERN ZONE “Global peace and prosperity” TEACHER ADVISOR MILA EZLEENDA BINTI KANARUDDIN THE SIGNIFICANCE OF AI IN ADVANCING THE MALAYSIA'S FOOD DELIVERY INDUSTRY MUHAMMAD AFIEQ BIN ARIZAL, MOHAMMED EYYAZ ABURHABIL BIN MOHD RIDZUAN, NOR AININ SOFIAH BINTI JAAFAR, AUNI BATRISYIA BINTI OSMAN. ABSTRACT In this rejuvenating world, food production has increased expeditiously across the globe due to the demand from increasing population of humans. For that reason, a bigger and more systematic food supply chain is needed to ensure a stable food supply. One of the reasons is so that it can help mitigate the impact of disruptions like natural disasters and pandemics. After all, in achieving this dream, we face numerous fooddelivery-related complications like determining customer preferences, quality doubt, and inefficient delivery optimization. Our main target is to discover how far AI can enhance the nation's underdeveloped food delivery in various aspects and offer potential solutions to this issue. To gather evidence supporting our motion, we employ both qualitative meta-analysis of correlation studies and quantitative methods of study such as Likert Scale study questionnaires using the narrative method analysis. From the inquiries, it is known that following the Covid-19 outbreak, there is an increasing rate in food delivery with addition in the food industry. With the integration of AI in the food industry, economic growth has accelerated, which is predicted to expand by 18% each year. Other research has shown that Malaysia’s food service profit sector is projected to recover well and grow at a compound annual growth rate(CAGR) at 10.9% from RM64.9 billion in 2020 to RM 109.08 billion in 2025. In order to achieve the 4.0 industrial revolution, the complexity of AI development must be resolved by improving the efficacy of the food supply chain, food sorting, and food delivery while preserving food safety compliances. Famine is a hunger crisis which has relentlessly ravaged many parts of the globe including the latest incident in Madagascar. According to the literature, the decline in its agricultural production has resulted in malnutrition, starvation and death amongst the general populace. The purpose of this study is to identify the common characteristics of famine to predict its occurrence, ultimately enabling us to provide effective solutions that can mitigate its impact. By employing a quantitative research methodology, we will be using interview and meta-analysis as our research instruments by means of studying scholarly articles that can be accessed online. Our research of the 10 worst famines in history show that extreme drought was the primary factor contributing to famine. Additionally, crop failure resulting from insufficient rainfall played a significant role in the decline of agricultural production and economic instability. This led to high inflation and increased poverty, constraining people's ability to afford their basic needs. Hence, to enhance food security, a viable solution entails theimplementation of AI technologies to predict famine in famine-prone regions before it actually unfolds. We also propose the usage of agricultural technologies and farming systems that are drought resilient to increase staple food production. We are convinced that these recommendations can reduce human suffering arising from famine. SOUTHERN ZONE “Global peace and prosperity” TEACHER ADVISOR REEZA HAIDA BINTI MISKAM VIRTUAL EDUCATION: FUTILE ATTEMPTS? MIA AISHA BINTI MUZAFFAR, WAN DANIYA KAUTHAR BINTI WAN SAIFUL-ISLAM, NUR FATIN HUMAIRAH BINTI MOHAMAD FIVEROS, AMIRAH SHOFIYYA BINTI SUKARNO. ABSTRACT Following the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, Malaysia’s education system has significantly transformed to reveal obstacles that have caused a wider digital divide. Students' access to quality online learning is unfortunately limited thus creating inequalities in terms of readiness, knowledge, and well-being. Urgent action is required for equitable digital resources, innovative online learning, and socio-economic inclusivity to ensure students' futures and a fair education system. The aim of this research is to explore the impacts of online education in encouraging inclusivity in a diverse world, how they have affected the academic setting and therefore propose potential solutions. A combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, using both interviews and survey forms, are being conducted. Discoveries revealed that prior to the pandemic, 42.9% of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates failed at least one subject. In the post-pandemic period, an astonishing 77% of SPM candidates have either failed or received a grade E on their results. These findings clearly show how virtual education is a futile attempt in assisting the education system. Therefore, when aiming to establish a nurtured and inclusive setting, several approaches must be taken to improve virtual education by holding the nation’s government accountable. The government should provide unbiased digital resources to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with the resources needed for online education. Another proposal is to have the involvement of local communities and non-governmental organizations (NGO). NGOs have particular abilities in specific areas, allowing them to plan and execute designated programs for digital inclusion. These methods can help decrease the digital divide which is in accordance with the 10th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), Reducing Inequality. ABSTRACT Ever since the pandemic Covid 19 outbreak, there is a high demand for online delivery service nationwide. It has significantly increased stable job opportunities in fulfilling customers’ demands. However, this online service mainly focuses on delivering food, groceries, and physical goods. There is no online hub that offers manpower services, resulting in customers having to spend hours browsing the internet to find one decent shop or workshop that can meet their demands. In order to boost greater economic growth, it is high time to expand the online businesses by including the manpower services all centralised under one online hub we called ‘ProFix’ as an initiative to promote technical and vocational skilled workers that could improve the career prospects as well. This mobile app will act as a platform in which customers have wide choice of service providers whenever we need especially during emergency. Hence, the purpose of the study is to propose an upgrade delivery service that could boost the economic growth trifold. A total of 50 respondents from various socio-economic background in the local community of Batu Pahat, Johor were surveyed on the relevance and the impact of the ‘ProFix’ online service provider app we created for their daily life. ABSTRACT This research tackles non-inclusive education opportunities in Malaysia, where race-based quotas favour Malays over non-Malays. Contrary to popular belief associating this with Article 153 of the Constitution, this study clarifies that the article isn't intrinsically discriminatory but suffers from skewed implementation causing inequity. The goal is balanced educational access for all ethnicities while upholding the Constitution. Employing a case study design, the investigation has two levels. Interviews gauge prejudiced views on race-based education and consult constitutional experts, analysing Article 153 to determine if it inherently discriminates or suffers misinterpretation. An advocacy group is formed in the second level to counter misconceptions about Article 153's discriminatory nature. It encourages future leaders to adopt a fairer interpretation, addressing skewed opportunities. Findings indicate biases persist, but Article 153 isn't inherently discriminatory. The study highlights the younger generation's mixed stance—enthusiastic support and staunch opposition—to more inclusive opportunities. This research underscores the need for nuanced comprehension and application of Article 153 to address educational disparities, rather than dismissing it outright. ABSTRACT This study seeks to determine the connection between the methods used by content creators and their impact on consumers’ purchasing decisions. It is a well-known fact that during the COVID-19 lockdown, the role of content creator became more prevalent in the business industry, mainly in e-commerce businesses. The e-commerce industry emerges particularly during the pandemic since brick-and-mortar businesses cannot survive on its own. As a result, content creators play a significant role in the decision-making of ecommerce customers by providing knowledgeable information about specific items and introducing them to new companies or products they might not have otherwise known about for these businesses to be more effective. To learn more about the effects of the influencer economy on the consumer decision-making process in the e-commerce business, an online survey on customers’ willingness to sign up for Shopee, an ecommerce app and interviews with content creators were conducted. Through the study, it was found that content creators increase the likelihood that e-commerce app enterprises will be profitable. For instance, buyers benefit from the authenticity and improved product comprehension that content creators offer. Furthermore, the survey’s findings indicate that customers are increasingly choosing to purchase goods that their favorite content creators have advocated. Overall, the research suggests that influencers and ecommerce enterprises would greatly profit from the rise of content creators in marketing e-commerce enterprises’ items. The implications of content creators benefiting from the e-commerce business are also discussed. It affects mankind through malnutrition, starvation and death. Most countries such as Africa and Somalia are dealing with hunger crises. Over 140 million Africans and about 6.5 million Somalians don’t have access to the food they need. Hunger crisis can also happen to Malaysia if we don’t take this matter seriously. The current distressing issue in Malaysia right now is that Malaysians are underestimating the agricultural sector in terms of the profession itself. The objective of this research is to determine the importance of the agricultural sector through food security by spreading awareness. The research methodology utilizes the use of both qualitative and quantitative methods in order to fully breakdown the core of the problem. Firstly, we create an online survey via Google Form targeting teenagers within our school. Furthermore, we also conducted an interview with a professional working as a cognitive neuroscientist. The findings show the majority of teenagers nowadays are unaware about the importance of the agricultural sector towards the necessity of our country. Subsequently, our research has shown that the needs of providing campaigns about the agricultural sector towards the root of our nation which are the teenagers. As part of the Industrial Revolution, AI has been implemented in numerous fields; However, our study emphasizes the healthcare industry. When it comes to determining whether AI has advanced enough to improve healthcare efficiency, a clear answer is difficult to find. Our thorough research aims to investigate the perceptions towards the effectiveness of AI usage in the medical field, specifically in clinical settings, day-to-day operations, and the overall healthcare system. A quantitative approach was employed through surveys and questionnaires to stakeholders in the sector which comprise 150 medical professionals and patients. 50% of the respondents were medical professionals including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and healthcare administrators and the other 50% were patients from the ages of 16-70. The findings show that the majority of the respondents have a positive outlook on the use of AI in the healthcare industry. Most of them agree that AI is beneficial in improving the quality of healthcare in terms of clinical outcomes, operational performance, and health efficiency. Nevertheless, a small number of respondents express concerns, particularly regarding AI-backed information and how the usage of AI may pose a threat to their careers. Despite these worries, AI is inevitable. Hence, it is vital to capitalize on this change and maximize its usage to make good use of the technology in healthcare services for the welfare of the nation.
