F2 are kind and caring. They show love and
respect to all in Early Years. It has been a
pleasure to be part of the F2 team and to
support the children on their individual
learning journeys. The children have shown
themselves to be so resilient and adaptable,
switching to remote learning when we needed to and seamlessly switching back to
the in-school routine again throughout the year. The children have guided us, choosing topics and
themes that interest them such as pirates, outer space, farm animals, bursary rhymes and so much more.

This year has been full of challenges and changes. The children have

been amazing in their ability to adapt to new situations and have

shown great resilience and positive attitudes. They have learned

YEAR 4K Our Best Memories of the Year

It has been an ‘In out, in out, shake it all about’ kind of year
but despite this 4K have had a blast! We started off the
year in Pompeii learning about Ancient Rome before
heading over to South America to visit the Mayans. Then
disaster struck as we tackled the science behind volcanoes,
earthquakes and tsunamis to name a few! And who could
forget our beloved Wild Robot Roz? We finished the year
with the tranquil study of the Amazon rainforest, appreciat-
ing ecosystems, biomes and the diversity of life!

Hayden Ms Maximus
Mrs Holmes

My best memory of Y4 was when we made
the earthquake experiment so we could
eat the marshmallows! I also enjoyed the
volcano experiments testing which mix-
tures were best and worst.

Aidan
Jason

My best memory of Y4 was when we made
the volcanos so then we could destroy them
with science that would make them erupt! I
also enjoyed getting given the start of a
story, like the train one and having to finish
it using my imagination.
