The Mela was spread over 150 stalls with children, teachers, parents from all grades participating in full strength and spirit. It was a proud and happy moment for us to be able to generate funds to support the NGO-Tamana, street children and the ones who are in need. Many children had worked hard for the cause , however learners with maximum contribution, Myra Jain from Grade – IX and Toshani Yadav from Grade Prep got the opportunity to visit TAMANA School personally to handover the generated amount to Dr. Shayama Chona, Padma Bhushan Awardee and Founder, Tamana School. It was an overwhelming and a proud moment for the children to visit Tamana School and meet Dr. Chona and Tamana Chona personally. The students interacted lovingly with Dr. Chona and exchanged interesting stories about their school and home life. It was indeed a fruitful culmination of everyone’s hard work, efforts and noble thoughts. VISIT TO TAMANA SCHOOL FOR SEVA

“Teaching young people to code early on can help build skills and confidence and energize the classroom with learning-by-doing opportunities.” We uphold the strong belief that there exists a vital connection between spatial intelligence and high academic performance. Research too has shown that spatial intelligence is critical to the development of mathematical thinking and conceptual understanding. Furthermore, it facilitates success in careers such as medical surgery, architecture, engineering, professional sports and art. Accordingly, our learners are introduced to Spatial Intelligence and Coding since early years to accelerate the adoption of mathematical, abstract reasoning and problem-solving skills. When it comes to the world of knowledge, mentors are the torchbearers in showing learners the path to the future by means of proper guidance. Therefore, a workshop on Spatial Intelligence and Coding was organized to make available a comprehensive handson experience to them. They were introduced to coding vocabulary and spatial intelligence. The workshop guided mentors to code and programme without the use of a computer language. Moreover, various techniques were discussed in the workshop using which a mentor can involve each learner in the class. The workshop was an enriching experience for the mentors and gave them numerous ideas to incorporate diverse techniques in the classrooms to facilitate better learning and development of our learners.
