Tashi's New School
Dear Karma,
I am writing to you to tell you how much
I like my new school. I like everything: the
teacher, my new friends and the food there.
Everybody is very nice and I feel quiet
at home now. I like classrooms too. They
are nice with large windows, comfortable
desks and carpet on the floors.
Our headmaster's name is Mr. Shrestha.
He is a very nice person.
Suryodaya School is a private school. Our
classes begin at 9:15. We reach school some
10-20 minutes earlier. Before classes we come to school yard and
talk, play, sing and laugh a lot. Our lunchtime is from 12:40 till
1:50. We study on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and

Louis Braille was born two hundred years ago. He became blind
at the age of three.
Louis was smart. He tried to do well at school. But, he could
not read and write. Louis had to leave school. Still, he wanted
to learn.
After leaving school, did Louis join any other schools?

Hot places
A lot of hot places on Earth are near the equator. Near the equator,
