South's First Choir has partici-
pated in many presentations during
the school year, including the
Nebraska State Education Associa-
tion Convention in the fall, the
Christmas program, the All-City
Music Festival in January, the
Spring Concert in May, and Com-
mencement in June. Forty First
Choir members presented a special
Christmas program for the school
administration's Christmas party.

During the year 1959-60, the Varsity Cheerleaders participated in
various activities. Among these activities were bake sales, sticker sales
and the sale of football coin purses. The funds raised were used to help

defray expenses of trips to Scottsbluff and Lincoln.
South's first team yell-belles cheered for all varsity football and

basketball games and wrestling invitationals.
