YOUR MOUTH AND ITS POWER

Speech is a powerful thing. What you can do with your mouth is more
powerful than what you do with your hands. If you want to hurt
someone, the tongue is much more effective than the fist is. If you want
to apologize to someone, all the flowers in the world won‖t accomplish
what two little like, ―I‖m sorry‖ can do.

Words are not just words. Words are powerful. And they can do
powerful things, for better or for worse. Words can help and they can
hurt. They can build up and they can tear down. By way of illustration,
words are like the bit in a horses‖ mouth. They have the power to control
others. The tongue is like a rudder on a ship. The words we speak can
steer individuals, groups, even whole nations, congregations, even whole
church bodies in one direction or another.

Words are vehicles of power and there would have been no war in
history if the whole humanity were dumb. Many have lost their lives by
their tongue, and some have saved their lives by it. Death and life are in
the power of the tongue, of witnesses, according to the testimony they
bear; of judges, according to the sentence they pass; of teachers,
according to the doctrine they preach; of all men, who, by their well or ill
speaking, bring death or life to themselves and others. Some, by their
tongues, by the too free use of them, or falsehood they utter, have cause
of death to themselves and others; and some, by their silence, or by their
prudent speech and prevalent intercession, secure or obtain life for
themselves and others.

The right words, spoken at the right time, and with the right motive, can
make a tremendous difference in the lives of others. Your words can

nourish those who are weak and encourage those who are defeated. But
your words can also hurt those who are broken and only add to their
burdens, so be careful what you say and how you say it.

Words are so important to God that He magnified His word above His
name. Proverbs 18:4 also gives us more insight into the importance of
the spoken word: “The words of a man‖s mouth are as deep waters, and
the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook. This passage portrays the
words of a man‖s mouth as deep waters.

The book of proverbs 18:21 says “death and life is in the power of the
tongue”, “Death and life,” both of body and soul; both of the speakers and
the hearers. They, who delight in constantly using it, whether for good or
evil, shall experience corresponding results and this apply to all men. By
the using the tongue well or evil, comes the fruit of it either good or bad.
So, we ought to believe that we can have what we say in line with God‖s
will, which is revealed in His word since God wishes us well, we should
speak words of life over our bodies, situations and life and not words of
defeat and discouragement.

As people of the Word, that should not surprise us. In the beginning, the
very first thing that happened was the spoken word. God created the
world by speaking, and not apart from His spoken Word. And how does
God create the new world, redeemed and renewed, the home of
righteousness? By the Word, made flesh, crucified on the cross and
raised from the dead, and not apart from the Word How is a person
saved? By the hearing of the Word which creates faith in the heart, and
not apart from the Word.

Even the serpent‖s word has great power. But every word from the
devil‖s mouth is for an evil purpose, to steal, destroy and kill. He is the
father of lies. Adam and Eve listened to the word of the serpent in the
Garden of Eden, and it became the bit in their mouth and the rudder that
they couldn‖t turn against. It turned them from saint to sinner, from
blessed to he cursed.

When we pray, the Lord answers when we call for his power, there is
always manifestation but the tragedy is that many people lose the

manifestation of His power, within a few hours or even minutes. The
Lord has fashioned the workings of the universe in such away that there
provision of tools for everything that needs to be done. In the same way,
God has programmed the tongue for deliverance or destruction.

A person may do a great deal of good or hurt, both to others and to
himself, according to the use he makes of his tongue. Many people has
been the instrument of their own death by a foul tongue or the death of
others by a false tongue; and, on the contrary, many has saved his own
life, or procured the comfort of it, by a prudent gentle tongue, and saved
the lives of others by a seasonable testimony or intercession for them.
And, if by our words we must be justified or condemned, death and life
are, no doubt, j the power of the tongue.

Luke 21:15: for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your
adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. First, we shall have an
abundance of wisdom to know what to say; and have an irresistible
eloquence to say what we ought A mouth and wisdom together
completely fit a man both for services and sufferings; wisdom to know
what to say, and a mouth wherewith to say it as it should be said. It is a
great happiness to have both matter and words wherewith to honour
God and do good; to have in the mind a storehouse well furnished with
things new and old, and a door of utterance by which to bring them forth.

Secondly, those that plead Christ‖s cause may depend upon hi to give
them a mouth and wisdom, which way so ever they are called to plead it,
especially in the cause of this life he will give them a mouth and wisdom
to enable them to answer for themselves, which puts a greater honour
upon us, which requires us to use the gifts and graces Christ furnishes us
with, and redounds the more to the glory of God, who stills the enemy
and the avenger out of the mouths of babes and suckling.

Thirdly, When Christ gives to his witnesses a mouth and wisdom, they
are enabled to say that both for him and themselves which all their
adversaries are not able to gainsay or resist, so that they are silenced,
and put to confusion. Your deliverance and breakthroughs are located n
the tongue and the Bible says “for by your words you shall be justified
and by your words you shall be condemned” (Mathew 12:17). Many

people would have been enjoying multiple blessings if they had their
mouths padlocked for one year.

This power can be an instrument of deliverance and also a mechanism of
destruction. More than any other thing this boneless organ in the centre
of the mouth has put many people into serious trouble and has caused
more trouble than any other organ in the body. Generally, whenever a
person is getting mentally deranged, it is through his tongue that it is first
noticed. The words that you speak are windows to your heart, and of all
he drugs that are used on earth, words are the most powerful drugs used
y mankind.

Just as it is difficult and cumbersome to put back toothpaste into the
tube after it has been pressed out so also it is difficult to withdraw the
words hat have already been spoken. You are no longer a master of your
words once they have left your mouth. When it is still in your mouth, you
are he master of your word. Once it comes out, it becomes your master.
Many people are where they are now, because of the terrible negative
words that they have spoken about and against themselves in the past,
because “he who speaks, sows”.

Words can turn situations to our advantage and our word can clarify
situations and can also confuse situations. Your words can bring light
into a place and they can also bring darkness into a situation. But one
thing is obvious, God stands by His own words and He also stands by
your own words. Another great truth which I want you to consider with
all ―our heart is the fact that Satan and his demons also pick up our words
and use them to war against us. The devil has no creative power, he relies
on the evil creative words which are spoken consciously or carelessly by
men and women and therefore, the effects of spoken words an be very
devastating.

A man who was considered to be the wisest person in an empire was
asked on important question. “What do you consider as the most
powerful weapon, which can be used to control things in the worlds?” he
wise man said, “There are only three things in the entire universe.
Number one is the tongue. Number two is the tongue, while number wee

is also the tongue.” Those who asked the question wondered if the an
knew what he was saying.

They later discovered that although the tongue is one of the smallest
parts of the body, it is one of the most powerful members. Incidentally, it
is the only part of the body that becomes sharper with constant use.
Other parts of the body grow older while the tongue becomes sharper.
The tongue causes us more problems than any other part of the body. It
can be tragically destructive and wisely a blessing.

Words spoken in yesterday years will bring a harvest now and the
tongue has the capacity to cut throat and mouth can assassinate your
breakthroughs. May be that is what God in His infinite wisdom and
foresight, has worked it out that a baby cannot talk as soon as he is born,
he talks after having known his environment.

Greek Philosopher asked his servant to provide the best dish possible.
The servant prepared a dish of tongue, saying, “it is the best of all dishes,
because with it we may bless and communicate happiness, dispel sorrow,
remove despair, cheer the faint hearted, inspire the discouraged, and say
a hundred other things to uplift mankind.” Later the philosopher asked
his servant to provide the worst dish of which he could think. A dish of
tongue appeared on the table. The servant said, “It i the worst, because
with it we may curse and break human hearts; destroy reputations;
promote discord and strife; set families, communities, and nations at war
with each other.” He was a wise servant.

I am more deadly than the screaming shell of the cannon. I win without
killing. I tear down homes, break hearts, wreck lives. I travel on the wings
of the wind. No innocence is strong enough to intimidate me, no purity
pure enough to daunt me. I have no regard for truth, no respect for
justice, no mercy for the defenseless. My victims are as numerous as the
sands of the sea and often as innocent. I never forget and seldom forgive.

The tongue is one of the greatest sources of committing sins and yet it‖s
something we do day after day. Sometimes we don‖t even realize it.
You‖re just chatting away with your friends and you begin to talk about
somebody else. Our whole lives are based around ―Home and Away‖ and

―Neighbors‖, soaps based on lying, backbiting etc. But look at what the
Prophet saw and said! The Prophet was sitting with his companion‖s one
day and one of them was speaking badly about someone who wasn‖t
there. As the man got up to leave, the Prophet said to him: “Pick Your
Teeth!”“But I haven‖t eaten anything.” The man protested. “No” the
Prophet said, “YOU HAVE EATEN THE FLESH OF YOUR DEAD
BROTHER”. As it is said! “Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his
dead brother? No, you would hate it.” (Ch 49: v 12).

Words have more power than anything you can think of. In fact, before
an atomic bomb is released, some words would have been exchanged. If
you wish to know the mid of a man or woman, just listen to his words and
you will know the kind of person he is. This is sure, your words will colour
your life and the thing that is most frequently opened by mistake in the
whole word is the human mouth and many people will do well to just shut
their mouths.

Whenever there are many words spoken there is little sense there and it
shows poverty of thoughts and anytime you speak, your mind and life is
on parade. The enemy has a way of stealing breakthroughs through the
use of people‖s tongues, because he knows that what becomes of you, is
largely determined by the words you speak and the words you speak
determine your destiny.

One old King called the wisest man in the town. He asked him to bring
the most beautiful thing in the world and the worst thing in the world.
The wise man promised to be back the following day. When he comes to
see the King, he brought two parcels. The first was the most beautiful
and when the king opened it, he found a tongue in it. Then, he asked for
the worst thing on earth and the wise man handed him the other parcel.
On opening it, the king found a tongue in it and the wise man said the
tongue is that most beautiful and worst thing in the world, for it can do
and undo.

There was a man who was very thirsty, he went to the refrigerator in the
laboratory and drank from a bottle. Someone cried out and said it was
acid. The man, who was a Christian, knew that his confession at that

moment mattered so, he shouted back and said. “No! I drank water in the
flame of Jesus”.

The person who shouted was confused and tested the remaining liquid n
the bottle and it was acid; he tested the few drops that remained in the
lass from which he drank and it was water. The brother‖s words of mouth
saved him miraculously. If he had agreed that it was acid, it would have
been so and he would have dropped dead.

Isaiah 54:1 7: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper and
every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment, you shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is
of me, said the Lord. You are to condemn, using your mouth, any tongue
that rises against you in judgment. It is difficult for a quiet person to be
an overcomer. If you keep quiet, the enemy will take you for a ride. One
sign of the cemetery is silence. Where silence reigns, breakthrough is
buried.

In the spiritual and physical battle, you cannot afford to be silent, by
losing your mouth, because if you do, you keep your heavens closed and
the will of the enemy to flood into your life and world. This is because the
rule is loud, clear and written: “No sound, no voice and no deliverance”.

When life came upon the bones in the valley, there was great noise and
he bones began to locate each other. Something spectacular happened,
he dry bones were revived in Ezekiel 37: 1-14. Negative sounds lead to
negativity, biased and destruction, but positive sound lead to positivity,
deliverance and objectivity. You can declare that you will assassinate
poverty in your life. You can speak destruction unto infirmities.

The Bible says, “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the
face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the earth.
And God said: let there be light! And there was light” (Genesis 1:1-3).

God spoke the world into being: he knows the power in the word. If God
did not beat the law of word, you cannot. You cannot beat the law of
word your deliverance is in your mouth. Losing or gaining it, is up to you.

Faith demands that you declare that things that you believe part of the
power in prayer points is that you make powerful confessions as you
pronounce each out loud and then hammer on it. It is different from
listening to a person read out prayers and you say: “Amen” without
bothering about what uttered.

There is no proof of belief until you begin to speak it out .In 2 Corinthians
4:13, we, having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I
believed and therefore have I spoken we also believe, therefore speak.

In Roman 10: 9, 10 says that “if you shall confess with your mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from
the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart, man believes unto
righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation”.

When you harass the enemy with the words of your mouth, through
confessing the Word of God, the Bible says he will not come close but will
be roaming around. You can feel his presence like someone who puts on
a concentrated fragrance. You will perceive the scent from afar even
though you have not seen him or her.

If you now confess anything negative, saying a problem is still there after
praying, the enemy will seize that opportunity to stage a “come back”.
Your negative confession creates a loophole for the enemy to pass
through. When you combine your belief with what you say in your mouth
(confession), it gives faith and the negative is unbelief.

Why your mouth need deliverance? Your words are powerful seeds. As
they grow, you reap what you say. If you talk freedom, you will reap
freedom. If you talk poverty and failure that is what you will reap. It is not
possible to confess wealth and reap poverty; neither is it possible to
confess breakthrough and reap frustration. You cannot be fed up with
prayers and deliverance and expect to be delivered. Your words are
forces of deliverance. Sow the right words: they are seeds.

Your words control destiny because if you believe the verdict of your
doctor and succumb to the symptoms you see and feel, the problem will
remain in place. If you say you will fail, you will. Your words commit God

for the book of Isaiah 44:26: That confirms the word of His servant and
performs the counsel of His messengers that said of Jerusalem: you shall
inhabited and to the cities of Judah: You shall be built and I will raise up
the decayed places thereof.

God is committed to perform that which is released from your mouth.
God has nothing to act upon until you have uttered a word, until you r
open your mouth and speak against your sickness and troubles, you are
likely not be free from it, or against poverty, etc.

The Bible says this interesting statement about the Apostles in Mark 1
6:20. And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working
with them and confirming the word with signs following Amen. God
confirmed the words that the Apostles spoke, by working miracles on
people. God has not changed. He is still the same today and will be the
same forever. Even now, you can speak to your situation and of
circumstances, and get your deliverance, but remember if you confess
negative, you will get the negative, and if you confess positive, you will
get positive.

Because, Angles carry out orders, they pick up what you say, and carry it
Out to the letter. They are messengers of deliverance, but, they can also
allow the negative word, if that is what you command them to do. When
you speak, they run to perform it with the precision with which you have
commanded them.

When you declare: I am sick! “They deliver sickness. When you declare:
“1 cannot be sick!” They deliver health to your door and guard it with
their flaming sword, so that the enemy does not come close to it when
you declare: “My life is not for sale”, my life is not for wastage”, they
make sure that, that is exactly what happens. That is why the Bible warns
that you should not say anything negating not even in error because if
you do, it is recorded and registered against you.

Ecclesiastes 5:6: suffer not they mouth to cause they flesh to sin, neither
say thou before the, angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be
angry at thy voice and destroy the work of your hands? Your mouth has a
double barrelled power; death and life are in it.

Your tongue can speak for and or against. You need to watch what you
say, so that you do not hinder your own blessings and breakthrough. I
always caution my brethren not engage in any discussion that is targeted
at running down a man or woman of God. Do not contribute for or
against, just keep quiet or walk away from the midst of the mother-wise;
you might be getting into trouble that even deliverance cannot remove.

Speak determination into your life. The woman with the issue of blood
determined to be healed by touching the hem of the Lord Jesus Christ‖s
garment. She said: “if I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole,” Mark
5:25. Remember, Bartimaeus, the blind man too, was determined to be
healed and he made sure that the Lord Jesus heard him even though
there was a crowd thronging about Him.

Speak destruction unto evil plantations. Anything you don‖t want in your
life, you speak to it and burn the roots of the enemy into ashes. Speak
protection unto yourself, your properly and everything that concerns
you. Barricade your life with the fire of the Holy Ghost against the
powers of the oppressors.

Speak victory and testimony into your life. When you do it regularly and
consistently, it becomes part of your life because man is born blind and
deaf to God. Man is born with an Adamic nature that is opposite to how
God operates. You need to re-orientate yourself and your mouth into
speaking positive things into your life.

Beloved, I want you to speak unto particular situations in your life that
you want the Lord to disgrace. Write out a list of the things that you
would like the Lord to disgrace in your life; then you will take the
following prayer points with all the aggression you can gather. These are
declarations that will bring breakthroughs into your life, because there is
power in your tongue use it now. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works
than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12).

There is a strong link between the word of God you confess and its
prosperity in your life. If you speak the words that give room to good

health, favour and prosperity to strive in your life, good health, favour
and prosperity will make your life their dwelling place. But you can turn
your situation around by confessing and pronouncing the word of God
that brings good health, favour and prosperity.

Good health, favour and prosperity can be yours, if you learn how to say
the same thing with God‖s word. Good health and prosperity pictures are
powerful and if you confess the word of God, the word can life you out of
the valley of ill health, bad luck and poverty to the mountain-top of good
health, favour and prosperity.

As you confess these words of God concerning prosperity, you will
receive victory over lack, challenges, debt and financial lack. Every wrong
circumstance and every bad situation will be turned around. Every attack
will be turned into victory. I encouraged you to confess scriptures over
and over and over again. Let the Word of God sink deep into your spirit,
soul and body.

No matter how you feel, no matter what you see, no matter what you
have experienced in the past or what is going on in your life now, God
Word always work and stands sure. It never fails. Shout the word right
into the devil face. Make this confession every day and expect God to
work a miracle for every need you have.

the prosperity of His servant in Jesus name. (Psalm 35:27).

9. The Lord is my shepherd. (Psalm 23:1).

10. The Lord prepares a table before me in the presence of my
enemies, He anoints my head with oil, and my cup runs over.
(Psalm 23; 5).

11. The blessing of the Lord makes me rich and He adds no trouble to

12. I receive wealth from the Lord and the good health to enjoy it in
Jesus name. (Eccl. 5:19).

13. I am blessed because I trust in the Lord. I reverence the Lord,
therefore there is no want in my life. The young lions do lack and

known sin and rebellion, emotional stress and trauma,
submissions to an ungodly cover, inherited curses, worldly art
and music, ownership of unclean objects, failure to cleanse
property and places; unforgiveness, idolatry or .a lack of
separation from the things of the world. We ask for forgiveness;
confess contact with the occult, close doors to Satan, break
curses, renounce psychic bondage, cut evil soul ties, loose the
mind, restore the fragmented soul, confess sins of the fathers,
surrender to Jesus, and renounce all evil.

the spirit realm. I reverse the words of those who curse and cast
spells on me, send evil against me, and send evil against the work
of the Lord. I send all evil back to them 7 times in the name of

repentance that they may be saved, healed, filled, and delivered
in Jesus name

67. I reverse every assignment, trap, snare, wile, and evil plan or
attack against me from Satan and his angels, demons, imps,
principalities, rulers of the darkness, powers, spiritual hosts of
wickedness in the heavenly places, or spirits of any kind. I silence
them and their words or curses. I clothe them with confusion as
with a mantle. I cancel all assignments against me. I make all
negative words and curses against me null and void.

68. I ask the Lord to send legions of angels to minister to me, protect
me, battle for me, minister healing and restoration, and •to
surround me in the name of Jesus.

69. I love, bless, and forgive those who persecute me and say all
manner of evil against me for the sake of your righteousness.

70. Help me Lord to be strong in the Lord and in His power, exercise
the authority over the devil which you have given me, stand
against the devil, wrestle and warfare, put on my armour daily,
pray without ceasing, intercede, and fight the good fight of faith.
Amen.

71. I return curses and demons back to the senders. I use our
weapons against the kingdom of darkness standing against me.
Satan I close every door that you may have opened in my life
from evil contacts.

72. Jesus Christ became a curse on the cross for me and blotted out
the handwriting of ordinances against me. I break the curses back
to Adam and Eve, and destroy legal holds and grounds that the
demons have to work in our lives.

74. I break demonic soul ties. I ask for the necessary spiritual gifts
and especially the gift of discernment to minister to the people. I
ask for the anointing of the Holy spirit and the authority of Jesus
Christ. I have been given power and authority over Satan and his
army.

75. I send angels with boxes to separately seal each demon in, chain
and gag the demons, read scripture to the demons day and night,
and fill the boxes with the Glory of God. I lose the angels to spin
the demons minds round and round, to chase and harass, to
bruise, crush and flatten the heads of the serpentine spirits, and
to snip off the tails of the scorpion spirits.

76. I order the princes and rulers to be bound with chains and thrown
down before the other spirits, and their foreheads to be written
in red letters that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I command the lesser
spirits to attack the traitors in the camp and throw them out. We
release the spirit which attacked the Midianites in Gideon‖s day.

77. I command the demon‖s answers to stand up in the Judgment I
send the warrior angels with swords to cut them down and bind
them with chains and fitters of iron, the rulers and throw the fire
of God on them. I ask that the demons be cut into pieces and
scattered over the dry places.

78. You are defeated by Jesus and must obey His commands. I cover
myself with the Compassion and Love of God. I use love as a
weapon. I command the demons to manifest only as God permits.
I use tongues of men and angels to expel demons.

79. I bind powers over my life, break assignments from powers in the
heavenlies to demons in the people, and ask for legions of
covering angels for protection. i bind the strong man and his
spirits in function in my life in Jesus name.

80. The Lord Jesus rebukes you powers possessing and using people
against me. I command that you confess that Jesus Christ is your
Lord. I ask for the leadership of the Holy Spirit. I anoint with oil
symbolic of the Holy Spirit. We intercede for my loved ones.

81. I command the ruling spirits over my life to cast out their
underlings. I command the angels to assist in the work of
deliverance as directed by God.

82. I break every curse, vex, hex, jinx, and spell, psychic powers,
bewitchments, potions, charms, incantations, spells, witchcraft
and sorcery. I break all cords, snares, controls and bondages. I ask
that the Power of God be manifested. I command the demons to
go to pit of darkness with the fallen angels, or wherever Jesus
sends them.

83. I use the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ and cover myself and my
family with the Blood of the Lamb. I agree with The Covenant of
the Blood. I use the Psalms as imprecations and pronouncements
against my enemies and call down the wrath of God upon
spiritual foes against me.

84. I come against unholy spirits, fallen angels, demons, devils,
empire of evil, and the entire Kingdom of Satan in humans and
animals standing and working against me in any form or shape, I
command the Sword of the Lord cut them down and gun of
Jehovah shot them down in Jesus name.

85. I come against satanic councils, principalities, powers, world
rulers and wicked spirits in Heavenly Places waging war against
any department of my life blood of Jesus consume them,
consume them, consume them.

86. I come against satanic chiefs, Kings, Queens, Princes, princesses,
Kingdoms, Dominions, Generals, Rulers, Captains, Centurions,
Strongmen and women in any form standing and working against
any department of my life, I release the dazzling light and thunder
of Jehovah to destroy and consume you all in Jesus name.

87. I place around my waist the belt of truth. I will know the truth and
the truth will make me free. I am free because whoever the Son
sets free is free indeed. I am free from (say whatever you have
been set free from). I am a Son/Daughter of God. The Holy Spirit
guides me into all truth. He will guide me with His eye. I have the
wisdom and knowledge of God. The Holy Spirit will instruct me in
the way I should go.

88. I put on the breastplate of righteousness. Because of the cross
Jesus has placed on me a robe of righteousness, I am the
righteousness of God. I plead the blood of Jesus over myself
today. Forgive me of my sins this day. Convict me Holy Spirit of
any wrong and search my heart of any secret sin. The righteous
are as bold as a lion. I thank you for boldness to do your will
today. Help me to speak your word with great boldness. I am
established today in your righteousness.

89. My feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
Help me to be prepared to give my testimony today. I thank you
that you have made a covenant with me that your laws and your
words are written on my heart and in my mind. You said that you
put your words in my mouth. Let my life reflect the gospel of
peace. Send someone across my path to share the gospel with
today. Use me Lord to bless someone today.

90. I take up the shield of faith which quenches every fiery dart of the
enemy. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. I am an
over corner in you. I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me. I thank you for my angels. I have an angel of the
Lord that encamps around about me. I am protected from the evil
one and delivered from the evils of this present world.

91. I place on my head the helmet of salvation, the hope of glory. I
have the mind of Christ and no weapon formed against my mind
will prosper. I think on things which are good, pure, perfect,
lovely, and of good report. I will take authority over my mind
today. I have authority over all the power of the enemy. I choose
to cast down every vain imagination that exalts itself against the

knowledge of God and I will bring them into captivity to the
obedience of Christ. I belong to Jesus and I give the Holy Spirit
control of my thoughts. I submit my mind to God, resist the devil,
and he must flee.
92. I take the sword of the spirit and I use it on the offense. I will not
shrink back. I am a soldier for Christ. We wrestle against
principalities. I thank you for the power of your word. It is sharper
than any two-edged sword. It will not return void but it
accomplishes the task it was sent for. Your word is true. You are
not a man that you would lie. I am a doer of your word. Your word
is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I will hide your
word in my heart so that I will not sin against you.

93. I will pray in the Spirit on all occasions because the Spirit will pray
through me the will of God. This builds up my inner man and gives
me strength for the day. I will pray for the saints according to
your word. [I add this to my prayer in addition to the armour of
God]

94. I thank you that the glory of the Lord is my rear guard.

95. I will praise you today. Let the high praises of God be in my mouth
and a two-edged sword in my hand. I will praise you because you
are worthy of my praise. I place on myself a garment of praise for
a spirit of heaviness. Put a new song in my heart Lord. Let your
praise be continually on my lips.

96. I thank you Lord that you are a God of healing, provision, and
restoration. You are my healer. It is the will of God for me to be
healed. You took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. You said
you heal all thy diseases. You are my provider. Those who seek
you will not lack any good thing. You will prosper me as my soul
prospers. As I seek you first, you will add all things to me. All my
needs are met in Jesus. You have made a covenant with me that
as I tithe and give an offering that you will supply all my needs
and I will reap abundantly. You are the God of restoration. As I
plead with you and walk pure and upright, you will rouse yourself

on my behalf and restore me to my rightful place. You will restore
what the cankerworm has eaten up. You restore my soul.

97. I thank you Lord that I walk in the fruit of your Spirit. It is not by
might, not by power, but by your Spirit says the Lord. I have love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
and self-control. This is my personality in you.

98. I ask you for the gifts of the Spirit. Your word says to seek the
gifts. I want to edify others through these gifts. I ask you for the
message of wisdom, the message of knowledge, the gift of faith,
the gift of healing, miraculous powers, the gift of prophecy,
discerning of spirits, speaking in different kinds of tongues, and
the interpretation of tongues. Help me to encourage someone
today through the power of your Holy Spirit.

99. I pray all these in your Holy name, Jesus. Your name is above
every name. All things are placed under your feet. All authority
has been given unto you in Heaven and in earth. In Him we live, in
Him we move and in Him we have our being. You are Lord.

sicknesses or anything shall be set free.

CHAPTER

11

THE POWER IN THE BLOOD

The eternal Life, the eternal Son, put on flesh and blood, and died to wash
us from our sins in his own blood, and procures for us the sacred
influences by which sin is to be subdued more and more, till it is quite
done away. The meritorious efficacy of Jesus Blood‖s passion and death
has purged our consciences from dead works, and cleanses us, continues
to cleanse us, i.e., to keep clean what it has made clean, for it requires the
same merit and energy to preserve holiness in the soul of humans, as to
produce it, or, as several.

By the power of His Blood peace is made between humans and God. By
its power there is forgiveness of sins and eternal life for all who put their
faith in the Lord Jesus. By the power of His Blood Satan is overcome. By
its power there is continual cleansing from all sin for us. For there is no
stain made by sin so deep, destruction and problem penalty of sin
brought that the blood of Christ cannot take it entirely away from the
soul.

By the power of His Blood we may be set free from the tyranny of an evil
conscience to serve the living God. By its infinite power with God the
most unworthy have liberty to enter the Holy of Holies of God‖s
presence and live there all the day. We may well ask what gives the Blood
its power!

The blood of Jesus Christ is the vital principle and is efficacious as
atonement. The blood of Christ sets aside all other plans for pardon.
There may be some sins of which a man cannot speak, but there is no sin
which the blood of Christ cannot wash away. Plunge into the “fountain
filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel‖s veins,” and in an instant you are

whiter than snow. Every speck, spot, and stain of sin is gone, and gone
forever.

So, trust Christ and you shall live, because the bloody sacrifice of Calvary
is the only hope of sinners. What Hebrews 9:22 says shows fully what is
one of his great objects in the whole of this epistle, viz, that there is no
salvation but through the sacrificial death of Christ, and to prefigure this;
the law itself would not grant any remission of sin without the blood of a
victim.

Every sinner has forfeited his life by his transgressions and the law of
God requires his death; the blood of the victim, which is its life, is shed as
a substitute for the life of the sinner. By these victims the sacrifice of
Christ was typified. He gave his life for the life of the world; human life
for human life, but a life infinitely dignified by its union with God.

Remission or forgiveness of sins. That is, though some things were
purified by fire and water, yet when the matter pertained to the
forgiveness of sins, it was universally true that no sins were pardoned
except by the shedding of blood. Some impurities might be removed by
water and fire, but the stain of sin could be removed only by blood.

But it contains a truth of higher order and importance still. It is
universally true that sin never has been and never will be forgiven,
except in connection with and in virtue of the shedding of blood. It is on
this principle that the plan of salvation by the atonement is based, and on
this that God in fact bestows pardon on men.
There is not the slightest evidence that any man has ever been pardoned
except through the bloodshed for the remission of sins. The infidel who
rejects the atonement has no evidence that his sins are pardoned; the
man who lives in the neglect of the gospel, though he has abundant
evidence that he is a sinner, furnishes none that his sins are forgiven; and
the Mohammad in and the heathen can point to no proof that their sins
are blotted out.

It remains to be demonstrated that one single member of the human
family has ever had the slightest evidence of pardoned sin, except
through the blood of expiation. In the Divine arrangement there is no

principle better established than this, that all sin which is forgiven is
remitted through the blood of the atonement; a principle which has
never been departed from hitherto, and which never will be.

It follows, therefore that no sinner can hope for forgiveness except
through the blood of Christ and that if men are ever saved they must be
willing to rely on the merits of that blood. It means that all men are on a
level in regard to salvation, since all are to be saved in the same way; and
that there will be one and the same song in heaven - the song of
redeeming love.

Eph 1:7 “For by the blood of Christ we are set free, that is, our sins are
forgiven. How great is the grace of God”.

The word here, as there, denotes that deliverance from sin, and from the
evil consequences of sin, which has been procured by the atonement
made by the Lord Jesus Christ. In whom we have redemption, God has
glorified his grace by giving us redemption by the blood of his Son and
this redemption consists in forgiving and delivering us from our sins; so
then Christ‖s blood was the redemption price paid down for our salvation
and this was according to the riches of his grace; as his grace is rich or
abundant in benevolence, so it was manifested in beneficence to
mankind, in their redemption by the sacrifice of Christ, the measure of
redeeming grace being the measure of God‖s own eternal goodness.

We obtain from the blood of Jesus Christ the forgiveness of sins and but
we also obtain the hope of heaven, the influences of the Holy Spirit,
grace to guide us and to support us in trial, peace in death, and perhaps
many more benefits. Still forgiveness is so prominent and important, and
the apostle has mentioned that as if it were all.

This “remission,” being the explanation of “redemption,” includes not
only deliverance from sin‖s penalty, but from its pollution and enslaving
power, negatively; and the reconciliation of an offended God, and a
satisfaction unto a just God, positively. Our redemption from sin, wrath
by the blood of Jesus, God the Father have given humans the
opportunity to discover and receives abundant wisdom, wonderful
wisdom, riches of divine wisdom, to the children of men.

We need to start using and living under the Blood of Jesus by having
faith in the Blood. Jesus‖ Blood has a voice; it is right now on the mercy
seat in heaven crying out ―Mercy, Mercy! for all those who believe in Him.
You and I can go boldly to the throne and receive mercy for our failures.
We can walk in the authority with which Jesus has clothed us. We can
exercise authority over Satan and his demonic hosts because of Jesus
and His Blood, not because of us or anything we could ever do to earn
that privilege. You need to start praying the Blood over your children,
your car, your home, your property and your body. You have a legal right
to use the Blood of Jesus, just as we have a legal right to use the name of
Jesus. It has been given to us, and we have a right to use it.

Where one has God-given authority (your sphere of authority), in your
own life, in the lives of your children, your ministries, and the lives of
other believers, etc. any stronghold of Satan can be destroyed by holding
the Blood of Jesus upon it.
The devil is a legalist to the maximum degree, and you and I had better
use all of our legal rights in dealing with him. We have a legal right to the
Blood of Jesus. It is effective against satanic floods when applied by faith.
A proper application of His Blood to a given situation, if the believer is
operating from a “cleansed” position, always bring deliverance - it never
fails... The Blood of Jesus avails for all things; it is our protection against
everything if we will cry for it and trust in it.

The gospel‖s method for recovering and saving lost sinners by a
Redeemer, was a mystery, a hidden mystery: it was hid where all the
world could never have found it, where angels and men could never
discover it; it was hid in God, in his breast and bosom, in his heart and
thoughts; it was hid from angels; nay, the churches knew it before the
angels; yea, the angels learnt it from the churches, Eph 3:10.

What was the impelling and moving cause of God‖s making known the
mystery of his will by the gospel, and his enlightening the understandings
of men savingly to apprehend it, proceeds entirely from the purpose and
pleasure of his own good will: Having made known unto us the mystery
of his will, according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in himself.

Jesus Christ the price of God‖s redemption paid down his blood. One
fruit of this redemption instanced for all the rest, the forgiveness of sin:
and the spring or source of all this, the riches of his grace. The deplorable
state into which the whole race of mankind was brought into by sin;
namely, an estate of slavery and bondage, and spiritual captivity unto sin.
Redemption supposes this; slaves and captives need a redeemer, none
else; we are all by nature under slavery to sin, to Satan and the curse of
the law and the wrath of God.

That there was no delivery to be had from this slavery but by a price paid
down to the justice of God; redemption is a delivery by ransom and price.
That no other price did or could redeem us from our miserable captivity,
but the blood of Christ, we have redemption through his blood. That all
believers and only they, have remission of their sins, through the
redemption purchased for them by the blood of Christ.

So, God‖s free grace, and Christ‖s full satisfaction, does stand well
together in the work of redemption and remission of sin. God had a
satisfaction from the hand of our surety Christ Jesus; but was it not free
grace and rich mercy in God, to accept of a surety and a substitution,
when the rigour of the law required none, and would admit of none, but
demanded that the soul which sinned should die? Was it not free mercy,
not only to accept a surety, but to provide a surety for us as God did, and
this surety his own Son? And to deliver up this Son to a painful, shameful,
and accursed death, that we might have redemption through his blood,
even the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace?

Satan‖s Greatest Fear: Satan‖s greatest Fear is the Blood of Jesus Christ.
The martyrs who are faithful unto death, who loved not their lives unto
death, are victors in this warfare against the devil. And I heard a loud
voice saying in heaven; now is come salvation, and strength, and the
Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ, for the accuser of our
brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and
night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word
of their testimony; and they love not their lives unto the death.
{Revelation 12:10-11}.

The verse above is a very interesting part of the Bible; it gives us
weapons and it would be good, if you could memorise it and appropriate
it to yourself. There is a weapon that has never lost its power, but people
have not learnt to use it; whereas, it is highly effective. Even the enemy is
afraid, when you start to talk about it. That old serpent, the dragon, that
the Bible talks about, saying: “Woe unto the earth and the sea ...“ There is
a weapon that can overcome it. There is nothing that God created, that
He cannot rearrange; there is no enemy that God cannot defeat.

The blood of the everlasting covenant must be sprinkled on warriors who
are victors against Satan. They must have a clear and conscious
experience of the saving power of that blood. They must have the ability
and conviction to be martyrs and witnesses before any company at any
cost. Their characteristics mark their devotion to Christ and their
experience of His salvation. It is only then that they can fittingly declare:
“He is mine and I am His” Song of Solomon 2:16.

Satan cannot withstand the blood of Christ. He turns pale at every view
of Calvary. The flowing wounds are the signals of Satan‖s retreat. A heart
sprinkled with the blood is holy ground on which he dares not tread.
Satan trembles and cowers in the presence of the blood-sprinkled
warrior. Satan fears the power of that blood more than the attack of a
legion of archangels. The blood is like the charge of an irresistible
military force which destroys everything in its path. It is the blood
applied and the testimony of its application that Satan fears.

The martyr who is a witness of the power of that blood is more a barrier
against Satan than a wall of fire. An experience of the atoning blood is
heaven‖s reliable protection against Satan. Those in heaven overcame
the devil in this way. We also “overcome him by the blood of the Lamb
and the word of our testimony.”

A two-year old girl learnt this song and was always singing it: “There is
power, there is power, and there is power in the Blood of Jesus.”Her
mother noticed that she never took ill. One day, the mother washed the
girl‖s clothes and hung them outside. There was a high wind, which blew
her small panty to the compound next to theirs and it landed in the
sitting room of a neighbour, who was a herbalist, immediately the pant

landed, there was pandemonium in the room; everything turned upside
down.

Everything he knew how to do failed; nothing could avail for him. He did
his consultation and he found out that there was a strange thing in the
room. He tried to pick it, but he fell. He started to rain incantations,
offered sacrifice, poured libation but he could not make a headway. He
could not touch the pant, and everywhere was hot. Throughout that day,
no customer came for consultation; he battled throughout the night. The
following day, the wind blew again and this time, the girl saw her toy
flying towards the man‖s sitting room.
She followed it and then saw her pant. She went straight towards it and
picked it, singing her song. “There is power in the Blood of Jesus.” The
herbalist tried to stop her, thinking the ―strange‖ thing would harm her
but she picked her pant casually, from the centre of oil and blood poured
around it. The girl picked it and left, still singing. That incidence,
converted the herbalist. He surrendered his life to Christ, having seen
that His Power is the absolute Power. He left his beggarly powers and
came to the Lord.

There is a power that supersedes every other power. That power,
transforms simple things into powerful weapons. The awesomeness and
mystery of the power in the Blood of Jesus, is not being preached in the
church today. Many present day Christians do not know many things
about victory in the battles of life. Learning to claim the power in the
Blood of Jesus, is very important. It is a prayer that brings deliverance
and protection.

When we cannot be sure of God‖s will, we may be sure of his wisdom and
mercy. No guilt is so great, for there is that in Christ‖s blood which atones
for it; no corruption so strong, for there is that in his grace which can
subdue it. To be made clean, we must commend ourselves to his pity; we
cannot demand it as a debt, but we must humbly request it as a favour.

The destroying angel entered every dwelling unmarked with blood, as
the messenger of woe, he did his dreadful errand, leaving not a house in
which there was not one dead. Imagine then the cry that rang through
the land of Egypt, the long, loud shriek of agony that burst from every

dwelling. Divine forgiveness is God‖s acceptance of the crimson stains of
Christ‖s blood as payment for the debt.

The Bible says “And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by
the word of their testimonies and they loved not their lives unto death‖.
(Revelation 12:11). The blood of Jesus gives us the seal of victory over I
Satan and all his hosts. it is crystal clear that Satan can‖t withstand the
power in the blood of Jesus. When we use the blood of Jesus as our
weapon in prayer, victory is sure. These prayer points are useful when
Christians want to go into strategic spiritual warfare. All demons, satanic
agents and stubborn pursuers will flee when they come face to face with
the weapon of the blood of Jesus.

The blood of Jesus gives victory in battles, healing in sickness, success in
life endeavour, power over stubborn pursuers and victory in the human
court. If you have tried other prayer points without achieving your
desired goal, you can pray the blood of Jesus and you record outstanding
success. PLEADING THE BLOOD OF JESUS: Gives protection before
adversity strikes, it serves as prevention, and it gives physical healing in
the body. No matter what name is given to any problem; it will be solved,
when the Blood of Jesus is brought in. If you keep pleading the Blood of
Jesus, no matter how terrible an infirmity is, it will disappear by the
power in the Blood of Jesus. If your life is pure and you lay your hands on
any sickness, pleading the Blood of Jesus, it will vanish. You might
wonder if it is really as simple as that, but that is the Power in the Blood
of Jesus.

The Power in pleading the Blood of Jesus is yet to be understood by
humans. Some people criticise those pleading the Blood of Jesus. It is
because they have not passed through the valley, so they cannot know
what it means. Someone who has never been tortured by a terminal
disease and bewitched by the enemies cannot know what it means to be
threatened by death and adversity, so he or she cannot understand why
a cancer patient is praying fervently for healing, or why the person is
jubilating after he or she has been miraculously healed. The preachers,
who discourage people from praying fire prayers or pleading the Blood of
Jesus, do so, because they have not experienced such things.

The Blood of Jesus cannot dry up; neither can it lose its power. Therefore
you can plead it a million times, if you want to. The more you plead the
Blood of Jesus, the more the chance of totally submerging the disease, in
the pool of the Blood of Jesus.

Many Christians do not understand the power in the use of the weapons
that God has given us against the enemy. Unbelievers could sit
throughout the night, chanting incantations or reciting things against
people.

Blood of Jesus gives emotional healing, mental healing, helps in battling
dark powers, helps in battling the adversary, and gives financial healing.
If you stand in front of your shop or house and plead the Blood of Jesus
every day, you will find out that the powers of darkness in that
environment will dissipate. As we are moving towards the End Times, we
need to plead the Blood of Jesus, all the time. There is a lot of tragedy
and disaster all over the place. Too many Christians are being robed or
cheated or raped or murdered. Many are being hypnotised and confused.
Pleading the Blood of Jesus, will give you immunity against .these things.

Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sins. Jesus came to die for the sins
of the world and His Blood was shed for us. You can claim the cleansing
power in His Blood and God will open a new chapter in your life. You can
plead the Blood of Jesus, over any and everything; your spirit, soul and
body, your house, car, work, children, spouse, business, as a form of
protection or prevention against evil. You can plead the Blood of Jesus
over your journey, the road, the vehicle or aircraft, etc. If you are living or
passing through a dangerous zone; you can draw a bloodline of
protection, therefore making a boundary, against any evil.

A man had a poultry where, all of sudden, the chickens began to die.
When he saw that he was going bankrupt with the loss, he cried unto the
Lord, who ministered to him about drawing a bloodline around the
poultry. Thus, creating a boundary that the enemy cannot cross. He
walked round and drew the bloodline around the poultry that night. The
following day, he found the carcass of a wolf, about two feet into the
circle that he drew. It was stone dead; it had passed its bounds. Today, I
pray that any wolf assigned against your life, shall die in the Name of

Jesus. Draw the Bloodline and the enemy will keep off. These are very
serious matters and we should recognise and know these secrets.

Recently, there have been disasters that have destroyed many lives in
many countries. I was told of a man, who saw the flood raging towards his
house and he came out and pleaded the Blood of Jesus. The flood obeyed
him, not a single drop of water entered his house but the houses next to
him, were submerged. That is the power in the Blood of Jesus!

Believers have the Blood of Jesus but precious few even understand the
value of it, let alone how to use it in their everyday lives to provide for
the protection of themselves and their property. We need to “put” the
blood on our lives and homes. We do it by faith. We do it simply saying, in
faith, “Father God, I plead the blood of Jesus on my life and my home.”

Minister of God prays this prayer when she is applying the Blood:
“Father, I come to You in Jesus‖ name, and I put the blood of Jesus on my
life and on all that belongs to me, on all that over which You have made
me a steward. I put the blood of Jesus on my mind, my body, my emotions
and my will. I believe I am protected by that Blood. I put the blood on my
children, my employees and all the partners of Life in the Word
Ministries.” Pleading the Blood with our mouths lines up with scripture,
“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the
hand of the enemy.” Psalm 107:2.

The Blood of Jesus is a battle-weapon and through it, you can achieve the
following:

The Blood of Jesus possesses cleansing power. If there is any form of dirt
of filth in your life or environment, the Blood of Jesus will cleanse them.

The Blood of Jesus could serve as disinfectant. Anything that wants to
pollute, will not be able to get in. You should sanitise your life, your body,
house, shop, etc. In fact, before you move into a new apartment or house,
you should sanitise it and the surroundings, with the Blood of Jesus. The
foundations of many houses, were laid with sacrifices of all kinds. Houses
that were built thirty of forty years ago, have things buried in them, by

the owners and such things work negatively on the inhabitants of such
houses, especially if they are not born again.

When you call the Blood of Jesus into operation, it causes the enemy to
flee, because it contains the life of God. It sets people free from bondage.
It can heal all forms of infirmity. When you plead the Blood of Jesus,
things begin to happen and it offers protection. Also, the Blood of Jesus
Christ is a Life-giving power: to revive anyone or anything that is dead. It
could be marriage, finances, business, etc.

Whenever you plead the Blood of Jesus, people and things are set free
from any kind of yoke, it overcomes evil powers, it opens doors, and that
is, it is a power to open every door that has been closed against good
things in the life of a person. The blood of Jesus is a creative and
recreative power. Anything that is supposed to be in the life or body of a
person, or has been removed through surgery or witchcraft, can be
recalled back into existence by the Blood of Jesus.

The blood of Jesus is a renewing power, it is a battle dissolving power
that makes the enemies go in disarray, it is a promotion power and
energy, it is a breakthrough power, it is a miracle receiving power, and it
is a poison destroying power. Many have been poisoned physically or
spiritually. The Blood of Jesus neutralises such poisons and flushes them
out of the system.

The blood of Jesus is a mountain-moving power; it is a demon-paralysing
power. The ring-tone of one man of my God phones is the song: “Have
you been to Jesus for the cleansing Blood, are you washed in the Blood of
the Lamb.” One day, as he was sitting somewhere and he phone rang;
before he could answer the call, a woman had started to manifest and a
strange voice spoke from her mouth, screaming: “Stop that music, stop
that music!” The demon in her was affected by the song, because of the
power in the Blood of Jesus.

The blood of is a virtue-restoring power, it is a burden-removing power,
and it is a bondage-destroying power. When you plead the Blood of Jesus
into any situation, it will eventually bow. Many people do not understand
the overcoming weapons that they have in the word of God. The Bible

says: “And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word
of their testimony.”

Today, you will watch that Blood in display, if you will pray the prayers I
am suggesting below, from your heart, That Blood was not shed in vain; it
was shed for forgiveness, deliverances, protection, healing, salvation,
victory, etc. You would be cheating yourself, if you do not use that
facility.

A 26 year old sister who was looking like an old woman, heard a message
like this and decided to use it. She locked herself up for three days,
pleading the Blood of Jesus into her situation. By the time she came out,
her correct body, shape, face, had been restored to her. She now looked
her age.

If you want your right things to come back to you, pray with power and
with fire. The power in the Blood of Jesus was given to it from the
beginning. Do you know that there is power and life in blood generally? If
a. person lacks blood, it means he or she is dying. That is why some things
work for occultists, who kill goats and fowls for sacrifice. How much
more, the Blood of the Son of God?

WHAT TO SAY AND HOW TO SAY IT (some examples)... If the enemy
tries to put the curse or cast spells upon you, or you suspect they have
placed a curse on you or cast spells, say that you are redeemed from the
curse of the law and spells of the ungodly in Jesus name. “According to
Galatians 3:13, I am redeemed from the curse of the law and I say so. I am
redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. I overcome you Satan by the Blood
of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony.”
If the enemy tries to stifle your overcoming or deliverance, just pray like
this! In the Name of Jesus, Satan, I resist you with the Blood of the Lamb.

You have to go. For, it is written, ―Resist the devil and he will flee from
you.”

For protection for you, you‖re family, and your property: ―I cover my
home with the Blood of Jesus to protect occupants and possessions from
any influence of Satan and his servants that you or your evil spirits would

try to exert. I bring to bear the power of the Blood of Jesus to lose your
plans and devices from every individual and all possessions under my
authority. ”In the Name of Jesus I plead (or apply), the Blood of Jesus
over “John “ (your child, for example)” “Father God, in the Name of Jesus,
cover me with the Blood of Jesus.”

Hold the Blood of Jesus until it overcomes Satan and he does flee.”This is
of you Satan. I hold the Blood against you, and declare on God‖s Word
that it does now overcome you, and that you do now flee in Jesus name.”

GET UNDER AND STAY UNDER THE BLOOD. Are you travelling, plead”
the Blood or “apply” the Blood upon the room to cleanse or remove any
wrong spirits that may be there from other guests. Battling wounded
emotions, put the Blood on your emotions so you won‖t have to keep
being devastated by people who don‖t seem to know how to give you
what you feel you need from them.

If sickness is militating against, apply the blood of Jesus against it
fervently. If you are sick in your body, plead the Blood of Jesus over your
body. The life is in the Blood; it can drive out the death of sickness. In Dr.
Kenneth E. Hagin‖s book, The Triumphant Church, he gave an account of
how a missionary in the early part of this century overcame the always
deadly sting of a venomous scorpion by saying, “I plead the Blood of the
Lord Jesus Christ against this scorpion sting.” The native watched the
woman expecting her to die. When she suffered no ill effects, most of
them accepted Jesus.

Maria Wood Worth-Etter recalls praying for Brother Anderson: “He had
blood poisoning and was covered with ugly running and eating sores;
some nearly as large as his hand. He was a nervous wreck.... I prayed for
his soul and body, and sprinkled the Blood of Jesus all over him, by a
living faith. Bless God, the blood struck in: I laid hands on him and
rebuked the poison, and cast out the unclean spirits, and the plague was
stayed, and the blood cleansed.”

Daily, by faith apply the Blood of Jesus. Hold it to a tormented spot (back,
leg, head, and stomach) ministering death to its continuance, binding its
power to remain. Your Children - Bring up your children using the Blood

of the Lamb and the Word of God. Cover them and their comings and
goings with the Blood of the Lamb. Pressure, Tension, or any kind of
satanic effort to thwart the complete will of God in your life - Apply the
Blood by faith, draw a Blood line - Draw a Blood line around loved ones
and property, not only in times of peril but at all times. Ensure the safety
of you and your family even when performing routine tasks.

Waking up in the Morning - As soon as you awake in the morning get
under the Blood of Jesus. Going to Sleep at Night - Get under the Blood
of Jesus. In an emergency (no time for prayer) - Say the “The Blood of
Jesus” or ”l plead the Blood of Jesus.”

Apply the Blood of Jesus to your mind, body, emotions, and will. You are
within your rights to apply the Blood of Jesus to your hang-ups, your
bondages, those things that you just cannot seem to conquer. Don‖t use
your energy trying to conquer, use it in worship, praise, thanksgiving, and
fellowship. Jesus is the Conquering Hero, not you and I. When dealing
with emotions, strife for example, make sure you do not leave an open
door for the devil. Repent, and ask God to forgive you and cleanse you
from the unrighteousness. Close any door you may have opened for the
devil. Ask God to cleanse the wound and close the door -then seal it shut
with the blood of Jesus.
The Word of God, the Name of Jesus, the Blood of the Lamb, and the
resources of Heaven are made available to us in our earthly walk. We
need to possess all the secrets revealed in the Word pertaining to the
power availed us. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 From
this scripture we are being told that if we will confess our sins to God, He
will “continuously” cleanse us. Our blood works for us all the time,
continuously working to keep us cleansed of poisons, and the Blood of
Jesus works all the time, continuously cleansing us from sin in all its
forms and manifestations.

There was a King in the Bible, who saw that he was losing a battle; he
quickly sacrificed his first son. As he was shedding that blood, Israel that
was attacking them, got confused, if the blood of animals and human
beings could make an impact, how much more, the Blood of Jesus, the
Son of God? Blood is a living thing and the Blood of Jesus, has the power

to overcome anything that confronts you. However, there is .a small
condition. For you to plead the Blood of Jesus and have it work for you:
You must surrender your life to the Lord Jesus. You must be completely
yielded to Him. You must live a pure and holy life. You have a wonderful
opportunity today, to invite the overcoming power in the Blood of Jesus,
to come into your situation. If you are not born again and you would like
to surrender your life to Christ, you can do so right now, right there
where you are. All you need do, is see yourself as a sinner and know that
you cannot approach God in your sinful state. Repent of your sins;
confess them to the Lord and ask Him to forgive you. Name them one by
one, renounce them and decide that you will not go back to them
anymore.

I congratulate you for this decision that you have just taken; it is the most
important decision in life, and I pray that it shall be permanent in your
life, in the Name of Jesus. I pray that the Lord will uphold you with His
hand or righteousness and you will not fall or fail in the Name of Jesus. I
pray that the Lord will write your name in the Book of Life and nothing
shall by any means, rub it off in the Name of Jesus. Go and sin no more!

It will be a pity, if after reading the message in this chapter, the Blood of
Jesus does not avail for you. Check yourself very well. is there anything
in your life that could hinder the move or the power of God in your
situation? Have you done or said something that you should not? Are you
relating with people that you should not? Check yourself. Are there some
things that the Holy Spirit has been telling you are bad, and you do not
want to listen?

Today, as you plead the Blood of Jesus, His liquid raw power, will come
upon your life and strange and marvellous things will begin to take place
in your life. God will release all sorts of blessings upon your life today;
physical, spiritual, material blessings, marital and financial
breakthroughs, will be release upon your life as you plead the Blood of
Jesus into your situation.

It was therefore most sacredly associated with the blood of the Lamb of
God which “cleanses us from all sin,” Eph 1:7; I John 1:7. For though we
walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. (for the weapons of our

warfare are not carnal, but might through God to the pulling down of
strongholds). Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity
every though to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

Some people will pray the following prayers, and will never know poverty
again. Many will be healed from even terminal diseases, and they will
have testimonies. And they overcame him by the blood of the iamb, and
by the word of their testimony, and they love not their lives unto the
death (Revelation 12:11).

PRAYING WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS
1. In the name of Jesus Christ, I am a beloved child of God I believe

in the blessed Holy Spirit who is dwelling inside me. I believe in
the unshakable and eternal power in the word of God. I believe
that life and death are in my tongue. I believe that as I make these
confessions unto life with the power of God in my tongue,
according to the word which the Lord has this day put in my
mouth, I shall pros per.

2. I bow in worship and praise before you O God. I plead the Blood
of Jesus on my entire physical body, on my entire soul and on my
entire spirit. I plead the Blood of Jesus against any demons that
may attempt to come against me. I plead the Blood of Jesus
against any humans, demons are using that may try to come
against me. I plead the Blood of Jesus against any natural
accidents or catastrophe‖s that may come against me. I plead the
Blood of Jesus against any diseases, illnesses or sicknesses that
could possibly come against me. Father, in the name of Jesus, I
have full faith and belief that the Blood of Jesus will always
protect me.

3. It is written that Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God
offered His blood for man‖s redemption and through this blood
the Angels of God overcame the devil, his powers and angels. by
the blood of the lamb, and by the word of God. I now release the
blood of Jesus Christ to overcome my problems and my enemies
in Jesus name.

4. I break by the Blood of Jesus Christ any evil covenant I made with
the devil, including all the inherited evil covenants working
against any part of my life.

5. I erase by the blood of Jesus Christ all the evil covenants working
against my wealth, blessings, position, my marriage, my health,
destiny star, carrier, peace, crown, my anointing and talent in the
name of Jesus. Blood of Jesus Christ break and destroy them.

6. I bow in worship and praise before you. I plead the Blood of Jesus
on my entire physical body, on my entire soul and on my entire
spirit. I plead the Blood of Jesus against any demons that may
attempt to come against me. I plead the Blood of Jesus against
any humans that may try come against me. I plead the Blood of
Jesus against any natural accidents or catastrophe‖s that may
come against me. I plead the Blood of Jesus against any diseases,
illnesses or sicknesses that could possibly come against me.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I have full faith and belief that the
Blood of Jesus will always protect me in Jesus name.

7. Father, I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every
area of my life to You. I gladly put myself into Your hands and I
am more than willing to let You find a way to release Yourself
through me. I take a stand and I release the blood of Jesus against
all the workings of Satan that would hinder me in my prayer life.

8. Satan, the name our Lord Jesus Christ, I commands you to leave
my presence with all your demons, I bring the blood of the Lord
Jesus Christ between us and against you, and I address myself
only to the True and Living God and refuse any involvement of
Satan in my prayer.

9. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I realises the Blood of Jesus
Christ to paralyse and confiscate every satanic authority,
principality, every demonic spirit and every spiritual wickedness
in high places working against me in anyway.

11. I command all my blessings confiscated by rulers of darkness to
be released, in the Name of Jesus.

12. I cut myself off from every territorial spirit stand against me, in

progress to be consumed by the blood of Jesus, in the Name o.

14. Blood of Lord Jesus, bear all my physical and spiritual burdens
now, in the Name of Jesus.

15. Every power stealing my virtues be consumed by the blood of
Jesus, in the Name of Jesus.

16. Every power in the heavenlies, on earth and in the waters
hindering my blessings and the angel of my blessings, Blood of
Jesus confiscate and consume them, in the Name of Jesus.

17. Any power diverting the blessings of God away from me, your
time is up, I soak you by the blood of Jesus now, in the Name of
Jesus.

18. By the Blood of Jesus, every owner of evil load, carry your load in the
Name of Jesus.

19. Blood of Jesus, pursue my pursuers in the Name of Jesus.

20. Blood of Jesus, arise and fight my battles, in the Name of Jesus.

21. Blood of Jesus, pursue poverty out of my life, in the Name of
Jesus.

22. Every power assigned to follow me, to destroy me, die in the
Name of Jesus

human beings issued against me.

24. By the blood of Jesus I delete curses any human established
against me in Jesus name.

25. All inherited curses in my life I blot you out by the Blood of Jesus
Christ.

26. Blood of Jesus as a drink and His flesh as bread, that whosoever
drinks and eats of it shall not die forever. Now with strong faith in
my heart I hold in my hand a cup containing the blood of the
Lamb of God and I drink it, that I may have life eternals.

27. I receive unto myself the virtues, the strength, the power the
mighty and the anointing in the blood of Jesus. And I say let the
blood quicken all that is dead within me. Let all sucked, sapped
and paralysed spiritual milk and strength of my life be
resurrected by the blood. Let the blood re-energize, revitalize,
reactivate and revive all dead potentials and spiritual gifts within
me.

28. Let the blood flush out of me all inherited or self-acquired evil
deposits let it purify my blood system. Let it make old things pass
away in my life and transform everything in me to become new
let the power in the blood of Jesus clean my spiritual vision and
wash my spiritual pipe clean, that I may receiving of the lord
unhindered.

29. I eat with the heart of faith the flesh of Jesus. For it is written: his
flesh is bread indeed. I eat it now so that I can also eat with him in
his glory. I eat the flesh of Jesus to receive new spiritual strength
and vigour. To put under subjection all the works of the flesh,
strength and vigour to paralyse the power of my flesh and make it
obedient to the laws of the Lord.

30. As I drink the blood of my lord Jesus Christ and eat his flesh, I
renew my covenant with him and I receive the life therein: for it is

written: life is in the blood. Thus I possess the life and the spirit of
Christ in me. Amen

31. Jeremiah found the word of God and ate it, and it became the joy
of his heart. I have found the word of god and now. Like vitamins
pills, I throw it into my mouth and chew it and swallow it and it is
digested. Let it produce within me the power to rejoice in the
Holy Ghost. The power to be steadfast in following god, the
power to walk circumspectly, the power of holy living and the
power of unashamed faithfulness in all circumstances.

32. The word of god is spirit and it is life. It entered Ezekiel and he
was put back on his feet. Let the word of god raise in me every
downtrodden area of my life. Let the word of god like fire purify
me and restore any parts of my life stolen or destroyed by the
enemy. Let the word build me up and give me the inheritance
amongst all sanctified brethren.

33. Let the joy of the lord strengthen me. Let his right hand of
righteousness uphold me, let his countenance brighten up my life.
Let the horn of his salvation lift me up out of the valley of death,
and let his living anointing oil fan on me like the dew of harmony
and fill my life. Lord, make me drunken with the spirit and the
blood of Jesus and I shall be full of life for eternal.

34. Father Lord, as it is written that I should be strong in the lord and
in the power of his might. I ask that you be my might and strength
all the days of my life. Gird me with your strength and let me not
fall into the pit of my enemies and I will praise you all the days of
my life.

35. With my heart I believe the word of god. With my mouth I have
confessed unto salvation and justification oh lord, let it be
performed unto me as I have prayed in Jesus holy and mighty

my foundation and reveal your power in my life.

37. Blood of Jesus locate and defile every unclean spirit behind
midnight sickness, rise and fall, instability in my finances,
marriage and family, in Jesus‖ name.

38. My God, let every household power, hired to frustrate my
destiny, marriage and finances, receive double frustration, by the
blood of Jesus‖ Christ. Amen.

39. Oh God, today, cleanse every doubt and stain cast on my integrity
and personality through the redemptive blood of Jesus, in Jesus‖
name.

40. The blood of Jesus has blotted out every handwriting of
bewitchment on your life; look forward and stop living in self-
guilt and fear.

41. Lord JESUS, by faith in your merits, I now take your precious
blood and sprinkle it over myself and my family right from the
crown of my head to the very soles of my feet. I claim total and
complete protection for my life and my family.

42. Lord JESUS, keep me free today from evil, sin, temptation, Satan‖s
attacks and afflictions, fear of darkness, fear of man, sickness,
diseases, doubts, anger, all calamities and from all that is not of
thy Kingdom and fill me Lord JESUS with gift of your Holy SPIRIT
and grant me the gift of wisdom, knowledge, understanding and

43. Holy Spirit, you makes me see everything, and shows me the way
to reach my ideals, you who gives me the divine gift to forgive and
forget the wrong that is done to me, and you who are in all
