06
PRAYING WITH THE WORD
We have seen how powerful the word of God is. Because God has
empowered His word with awesome power; therefore the Word of God
represents God and when a believer uses the Scriptures in prayer, great
things happen. For the Bible says, “God honours His word above His
name. (Psalm 138).
Many prayers have missed the mark and have been in vain because they
were not combined with the scriptures and careful vigilance. There are
many sad failures in Christian life because watchfulness failed and the
word was not applied. The devil‖s easiest target is a sleepy Christian and
a Christian who is ignorant of the word of God. Many Christians have lost
their souls because they did not use the scriptures in prayers and failed
to stay alert to Satan‖s attacks. Eternal vigilance is the price of political
liberty, for no less a price must be paid for our spiritual safety. The
foolish virgins missed heaven because they failed to this virtue. Because
scriptural prayers and watchfulness would have brought them, along
with the bridegroom, into the high joys of heaven‖s most celebrated hour.
In the sixth chapter of Ephesians, as stated above, the entire warfare
with the devil and his legions is described. It also gives the sources of
defence and victory. In this passage we have a view of the strenuous
conflict and the battlefield on which the issues of eternity are tossed. It is
written in our war against Satan‖s Army “For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against spiritual
wickedness in high places” {verse 12). The Christian‖s battle is with the
devil and his methods. Satan‖s struggle is arranged with order, wisdom,
and skill.
Principalities and powers are under his management and subject to his
orders. They are his lieutenants, his prime ministers, his captain generals

who carry out his orders and represent him fully. They are the world
rulers with worldwide control and power. They master and control all
evil forces of the world. The devil and his high comrades are world rulers.
Their might is as extensive as the world. Theirs is a fearful rule for evil,
against the good and against humans. Their subordinates, the rank and
file, are innumerable and invincible, except to a God-equipped person.
What is vast and powerful array of aggressive, vicious, and cruel
enemies? They are in heavenly places, the very place where Christ‖s
power is located. This power is over us, above us and around us. They are
too mighty for us. Against this invisible, innumerable, all-powerful and
vast array, we wrestle. Wrestling is a close conflict. It is an intense and
difficult conflict which tests all strength and strains every fibre. It is
hand-to-hand, and foot-to foot, close contact.
This conflict is not with men, though men may give us much opposition i
our Christian course. But, our chief trouble and our great war are not
with humans but with all the mighty evil forces of the devil. It is a life and
death struggle, a war for heaven and hell, for time and eternity. The
Christian must be a soldier of Jesus Christ by birth, by fortune and by
trade. The most essential quality of a divine soldier of Jesus Christ is that
is not entangled “with the affairs of this life” {2 timothy 2:4). The
elements of self-denial, courage and endurance are the vital
characteristics of this military training and pray with the scripture.
Strength is the fruit of these high qualities. But it is strength tar beyond
own strength. “Strong in the Lord and in. the power of His might”
(Ephesians 6:10). In preparation for this war, the Christian soldier must
ok beyond himself. The strength of God, the very strength of God‖s
mightiness, must be his, as it is written. The ability to stand, to fight, to
conquer and to drive the foe from the field will be found in God‖s armour,
praying with the scripture as it is written. No power short of God and his
word can enable us to meet the devil. No partial equipment will suffice,
only the scriptures as it is written.
We are charged twice to make doubly sure to take the whole armour.
We take God by taking and using His word. We must make His word our
own and our armour. We put on God by putting on His word and we put

on God armour by as well putting His word, not outside but inside, not
objective but subjective, not physical but spiritual. We must be strong for
the truth in the inward parts, because we are not imaginary soldiers
fighting an imaginary war, all is real and true. Because he is truthful, a
girded soldier of Jesus Christ is strong, prepared, and intense in his fight.
Truth is the ornament of a jewelled girdle, and diamond set in gold. We
must conquer the devil by truth as the strength and support of our lives
in the scriptures. We know the truth and have the truth because we have
Christ who is the truth.
Heart righteousness makes head righteousness and life righteousness.
We cannot fight without heart righteousness. The “breastplate of
righteousness” protects the heart and makes us feel right. The old heart
cannot be made right by the most skillful craftsman or by the most
correct rituals. No tinkering on the old heart can make it right. It is as
hard as a stone and crooked as the Jordan. No melting can make it soft,
and no human effort can make it straight. We need a new heart soft as
flesh and washed whiter than snow in the blood of Chris. A piece of
Christ‖s heart, perfect, right, pure and good, this is what is needed as it is
written.
The feet must be shod with a preparation which is always ready to go, to
do and to suffer this means no slow movements or reluctant doing of
God‖s will and applying the scriptures, as it is written. Being off guard
creates a general unreadiness for life or death, from earth or heaven for
sacrifice or service, for doing or for drifting. It cuts the nerve of Christian
valour‖s and lays us open to surprises and crushing defeats. Always ready
is the soldier‖s attitude of safety, and being ready to move precedes
victory. Scriptural prayers and wakeful vigilance assures us of victory
against the devil.
The “shield of faith” is the all-important and the all-covering piece of
armour. The devil lets his fiery and poisoned darts fly. But violent
scriptural prayers and faith catches them as they are directed at head or
heart and quenches them. Do you believe all victories are possible to the
soldiers of Jesus Christ who is valiant and strong in faith? There has
never been a battle planned by hell‖s most gifted strategist which can
conquer scriptural violent faith and prayers. All its flaming and terrible

darts fall harmless as they strike against the shield of faith and scriptural
violent prayer cut down and grand it, into dust. “These all died in
scriptural [prayers and faith” {Hebrews 11:13). Scriptural prayers and
faith made their death the crowing point.
“The sword,” the aggressive and powerful weapon, is the Word of God.
The Spirit wields it and brings death to all our foes. The Word of God is
our battlefield and victorious weapon. On it, we stand and fight. With it
we deal and defeat and ruin every foe. The Christian soldier is “not to live
by bread alone, but by every word of God” {Matthew 4:4). We cannot
make too much of the word of God. Christ foiled Satan with it. If we are
to be valiant, true and invincible, we also must have the Word of God
dwelling in us richly, if not how can we pray scriptural prayer.
The shield of our faith is the basis of our prayers and the essence of our
girded truth. Head, hands and hearts must be foiled and saturated by the
word of God, because by it we live and by it we grow. It is our battle call
and the sign by which we conquer. It is a glittering royal blade against all
the assaults of Satan. “It is written” goes like steel to the heart of Satan.
As a weapon of defence and offense, God has magnified His Word above
all His name. Those who pray scriptural prayers and those who filled with
God‖s Word are armed against all Satan‖s wiles and his vices and all
enemies‖ attacks. God‖s Word is “quick and powerful, and sharper than
any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit” {Hebrew 4:1 2}. Satan feels it penetrating his joints and marrow,
dissolving into weakness all his strength and making foolish his wisest
plans.
The soldier in the warfare against the devil must understand how to wear
the armour of all prayer. The demand is for “all prayer” {Ephesians 6:1 8}
at all seasons, in the intersect forum, with a deep sense of personal need
for God Prayer must deepen and intensify into supplication The Holy
Spirit will help us into this kind of mighty praying and clothes us with
resistless scriptural power of prayer.
This intense conflict with the devil requires sleepless vigilance, midnight
vigils and a wakefulness, which cannot be surprised. It also requires a

perseverance, which knows neither halting, fainting and nor depression.
This kind of praying knows by clear spiritual intelligence what it needs.
The prayer warrior knows the unlimited provisions that are available to
supply all his needs, in the scriptural prayer. He knows the necessity of
perseverance in prayer until the need is supplied and there provision is
secured.
It is not an easy thing to pray. Behold in scriptural praying, there must lay
the conditions of all prayers. These conditions are possible, but they
cannot be achieved in a moment by the prayer less person. They are
always available to the faithful and holy, but cannot exist in a frivolous,
negligent and lazy spirit. Prayer does not stand-alone, because it is not an
isolated performance, but with the scripture, one stands on the
foundation, the arrows is sharp, the two edged sword is pulled out and it
will not come back void.
Scriptural prayer is connected to all the duties of the Christian life.
Scriptural prayer issues from a character, which is made up of the
elements of vigour‖s and commanding faith. Scriptural prayer honours
God, acknowledges His being, exalts His power, adores His providence
and secures His aid.
A sceptic would rationalize and cry out against devotion charging that it
does nothing but pray. But to pray well with the scriptural is to do all
things well. If it is true that devotion does nothing but pray, then it does
nothing at all. The conditions of scriptural prayer are the sum of all the
energized forces of practical working Christianity. Scriptural prayer
brings God into the situation with commanding force. “Ask Me of things
to come concerning My sons,” says God. “And concerning the work off
vIy hand command you Me” {Isaiah 45:11 }. We are charged in God‖s
word “pray without ceasing” {1 Thessalonian 5:17); “in everything by
prayer” {Philippians 4:6); “continuing instant in prayer” {Colossians 4:2};
to “pray everywhere” {1 Timothy 2:8); “praying always” {Colossians 1: 3}.
The promise is as unlimited as the command is comprehensive. “All
things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer believing you shall receive”
Matthew 212:221. Jesus said, “Whatsoever you shall ask” {John
4:14};”You shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you” John

15:1 7)); “Whatsoever you ask the Father ... He will give it you” {John
16:23).
If there is anything not involved in “all things whatsoever,” or not found
in the phrase. “Ask anything.” Then these things can be left out of prayer.
Language could not cover a wider range or involve more fully every
detail of life. These statements are only samples of the all-
comprehending possibilities of scriptural prayer under the promises of
God to those who meet the conditions of right praying. These passages,
though, give only a general out-line of the immense regions over which
scriptural prayer extends its influence. The effect of scriptural prayer
reaches and secures good things from regions, which cannot be covered
language or thought when he was praying. Still, he was conscious of
necessities not covered, realms of good not reached and of battles over
enemies not conquered.
Paul covers these undiscovered regions by this general plea; Unto Him
that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us” {Ephesians 3:20). The promise
is, Call unto Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty
things, which you know not” {Jeremiah 33:3).
See how Christ warded off the thrust, baffled the assault, and came off a
conqueror through the scripture, it is written, we are then likely to get
good by the word of God, when we hear and receive general promises
speaking to us in particular. God is one, and his word one, and he is one
mind, but that is a promise, this is a precept, and therefore that is to be
explained and applied by this; for scripture is the best interpreter of
scripture; and they who prophesy, who expound scripture, must do it
according to the proportion of faith (Ro 12:6), consistently with practical
godliness.
In order to the strengthening of our stand and resolutions against Satan
in payers; it is good to present the Word in prayer, by praying with the
scriptures. It is good to make our warfare prayers with the scriptures as
full and as brief as may be, so as not to leave room for objections. Our
Saviour has recourse to the fundamental law in this case, which is
indispensable, and universally obligatory. Because, religious worship and

prayers is due to God only, and must not be given to any creature. It is a
flower of the crown which cannot be alienated, a branch of God‖s glory
which he will not give to another.
Christ quotes the scriptures in his battle with the devil and in prayers
against the enemy, and quotes it with application to himself. To show
that in his estate of humiliation he was himself made under this word.
Though, as God, he was worshipped, yet, as Man, he did worship God,
both publicly and privately as he lived, prayed and conquered through
the scripture, it is written. Again, to show that the law of religious
worship and prayers is of eternal obligation. Though he abrogated and
altered many institutions of worship, yet this fundamental law of nature,
that God only is to be worshipped and prayed to, he came to ratify, and
confirm, and enforce upon us.
The devil was baffled, and quitted the field, when Jesus quoted and
prayed with the scriptures. Then the devil leaves him, forced to do so by
the power that went along with that word of the scripture command,
“Get you hence, Satan”. The devil made a shameful and inglorious retreat,
and came off with disgrace, and the more daring his attempts had been,
the more mortifying was the foil that was given him. Nothing conquered
the devil and his workers like praying with the Word, it is written Though
Satan is an enemy to all saints, but is a conquered enemy The Captain of
our salvation has defeated and disarmed him, we have nothing to do but
to pursue the victory through the scripture, it is written.
Spiritual warfare goes into a new dimension when you learn how to pray
with the word of God. It is important you do not commonise it, but try it d
see its unfailing power. These are words that can enable you to pray
prayerfully. You are empowered to lift up the banner of God‖s word
against all unrepentant unfriendly friends and enemies. The devil will
find it impossible to contest the word of God. Your prayers will spell
disaster in the satanic kingdom and attract attention in heaven.
The Scriptures are the words of the king and the Bible says, “Where the
word of the kings is, there is power” (Eccl. 8:4). Scripture Prayer points
are so powerful that, they will produce fantastic results when other
types of prayer points appear inadequate.

Handle the Script based prayer points and you will experience
outstanding miracles and unprecedented breakthroughs in any area of
life there are problems. You must pray against spiritual enemies and t
human foes that are mere instruments. Always remember; the only
language understood by the enemies of our souls is VIOLENCE faith and
prayers.
Spiritual warfare prayers are to be directed against the powers of
darkness and not human beings. It is written, “For though we walk in the
flesh, we do not war after the flesh (for the weapon of our warfare are
not carnal, but might through God to the pulling down of strongholds).
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself
against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every though
to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
The challenge posed by increased strategies of the power darkness, most
especially against Christianity, calls for an aggressive and violent warfare
prayer to counter such satanic revival. For, it is written thus in 2 Cor.
10:4-6 “4 The weapons we use in our fight are not the world‖s weapons
but God‖s powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds. We
destroy false arguments; 5 we pull down every proud obstacle that is
raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and
make it obey Christ”.
The life of every Christian is a continual warfare, so Christians are more
eminently men and women of war, they fight against principalities,
powers and spiritual wickedness in high places, but the devil draws up
full strength to pull them down. For the weapons of our warfare, by
which we hope to achieve our victory are not those of the flesh, not such
as the humans use. They are not such as are employed by conquerors,
nor are they such as humans in general rely on to advance r cause. We do
not depend on eloquence, or talent, or learning, or wealth, or beauty, or
any of the external aids on which the humans rely. We are not such as
deriving advantage from any power inherent in ourselves. Our strength
is derived from God alone and the scripture is its foundation.
It is important to know that the weapons are mighty ONLY through the
word of God. Conquerors and earthly warriors go into battle depending

on the might of their own arm, and on the wisdom and skill which plans
the battle. The Christian goes on warfare, feeling that however well
adapted the word of God which he holds are to accomplish great
purposes, and however wisely his plans are formed, yet that the efficacy
of all depends on the scriptures to the pulling down of strong holds.
Which means, the various obstacles resembling a fortress which exist,
and which are designed and adapted to oppose the truth, the triumph of
the Christian‖s cause, life and destiny. The whole world and its demons is
fortified against a Christian and have been engaged in little else than in
raising and strengthening such strongholds. The Christian person goes
forth against all the combined and concentrated powers of resistance of
the wicked and his comrade. These strong enemies and their
fortifications are to be battered down and laid in ruins by our spiritual
weapons
We must bring into captivity every thought, because HEATHENISM
could not recover itself, in vain did its thousands of altars smoke with
reiterated hecatombs, their demons were silent, and their idols were
proved to be nothing in the world POPERY could never, by any power of
self-reviviscence, restore itself after its defeat by the Reformation, for it
had no truthful scripture, consecutively understood; no reason, no
argument and in vain were its bells rung, its candles lighted, its auto
dafe‖s exhibited, in vain did its fires blaze, and in vain were innumerable
human victims immolated on its altars! But, the light of God penetrated
its hidden works of darkness, and dragged its three-headed Cerberus
into open day, the monster sickened, vomited his henbane, and fled for
refuge to his native shades.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Let the powers of the wicked; be blown away like the dust which
the wind is driving away, in the name of Jesus.
2. Come, LORD! Save me, my God! You punish all my enemies and
leave them powerless to harm me, victory comes from the LORD.
O God gives me victory over my enemies and the wicked in Jesus

to destroy. Their words are flattering and smooth, but full of
deadly deceit. Condemn and punish them, O God; may their own
plots cause their ruin. Drive them out of your presence because
of their many sins and their rebellion against you.
4. O LORD, my God, I come to you for protection; rescue me and
save me from all who pursue me, or else like a lion they will carry
me off where no one can save me, and there they will tear me to
pieces. O God rescue me and save me in Jesus name.
5. O LORD, my God, if I have wronged anyone, if I have betrayed a
friend or without cause done violence to my enemy, if I have done
any of these things, then let my enemies pursue me and catch me,
let them cut me down and kill me and leave me lifeless on the
ground! But, rise in your anger, O LORD! Stand up against the
fury of my enemies; rouse yourself and help me! Justice is what
you demand, so bring together all the peoples around you, and
rule over them from above in the name of Jesus.
6. You are a righteous God and judge our thoughts and desires. Stop
the wickedness of evildoers and reward those who are good. God
is my protector; he saves those who obey him. Save me I pray in
Jesus name.
7. God is a righteous judge and always condemns the wicked. If they
do not change their ways, Oh God condemn the wicked in my life
who are stubborn pursuers in Jesus name.
8. Oh God sharpen your sword and release it against the wicked in
the name of Jesus.
9. Oh God bends your bow and shot down the enemies in the name
of Jesus.
10. Oh God take up your deadly weapons and aim your burning
arrows and shot down the enemies.

Usually in the night, men rest from their toil and hard work of the day. As
such, they are less physically prepared to contend with opposing forces.

BREAKING WITCHCRAFT POWERS
It is necessary for us to have a deeper and clearer understanding of what
witchcraft powers is all about. Information will be sought for, primarily
from the Bible and supported by other sources. The first thing that must
be made clear is that witchcraft is one of the oldest and cross continental
demonic phenomenon, which has a history of its wickedness destruction
and manipulation across the world. It is a demonic embodiment and part
of the strategies of the devil for some people to try to deny its existence
today because for centuries it was a major issue even all over Europe and
America. It is not an Asia, Haiti and Africa problem but a global menace.
“Witchcraft means to turn anything strength crooked, make simple
things very hard and difficult, turn good to bad and influencing the
quality of life negatively and destructively. Witchcraft means” to curve,
bend” and twist, which became weaken to move” in a sense, to make
mysterious gestures. Robert Graves in his 1948 The White Goddess, in
discussing the willow which was sacred to the Greek goddess Hecate,
connects the word witchcraft to a root which connotes bending or
flexibility‖, by saying: “Its connection with witches is so strong in that the
words ―witch‖ means ―wicked‖ are derived from the same ancient word for
willow, which also yields ―wicker‖.”
Original meaning of the word ―Witch‖ means to bend and change good
things to be bad, straight to be crooked, light thing to be heavy, rich to
poverty, marriage to divorce, potency to impotent, fertility to infertility,
fruitfulness to barrenness, to mention be few. The primary function of
witchcraft is to bend or what is straight to make it crooked. They change
and re-fashion things to conform to their wicked intentions and will of
the devil.

To this practice the ancient witches and wizards joined the arts of
fortune-telling and divining, and a professed knowledge and control of
the secret powers of the elements, heavenly bodies, etc. In order to give
colour and concealment to their pretended commerce with spirits, they
made use of drugs, fumigation‖s, chemical arts, incantations, and every
mysterious device to awe and impose upon a superstitious people. Today
many old and young of all sects universally believe in the potency of “the
evil eye,” of incantations, divination, charms, amulets, serpent- charming
and exorcism; and that these superstitions exert a prodigious influence
on modern life. Such follies and knaveries are all strictly forbidden in the
Bible, and were punishable with death.
Witchcraft is much more complicated than we can ever imagine. It is
deeply entrenched in the heaven lies. It has a lot to do with the sun, the
moon, the stars and waters. Witches and wizards are wicked to the core.
No matter how much love they claim to have for their children, or
husband, wife, or anybody, they still go ahead to make life terribly bad,
hard, and difficult and they go ahead and sacrifice them.
Like, as it is written about King Manasseh who early fell under the
influence of the heathen witchcraft powers and his reign was
characterized by a sad relapse into idolatry with all its vices that the
streets were red with blood that Manasseh has been called the “Nero of
Palestine 2 Ch 33:6 He sacrificed his sons in Hinnom Valley as burnt
offerings He practiced divination and magic and consulted fortunetellers
and mediums. He sinned greatly against the LORD and stirred up his
anger.
Witchcraft by simple working definition is a means by which human
beings work magic to bring practical changes by their will and using
supernatural means. It is not different from sorcery, but sorcery is a
branch of\witchcraft and it can be handed over supernaturally and can
be acquired through study and apprenticeship. Witches operate a
complex network of cooperation cross continentally, and are believed to
control and work with other supernatural beings. In addition, they are
believed to work mostly at night and have supernatural power of flight,
These concepts were as common in all most all the tribes of Africa, Asia
and America as in pre-modern Europe. From 1400s to 1600s, witch

hunting and killings were very common all over Europe, Britain,
Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, and Poland, France, den,
and Austria territories. In 1589, the tiny German state of Quedlinburg
burned 133 women in one day (Ronald Hutton).
It will be necessary to employ scriptural survey in understanding practice
and unholy operation of witchcraft. The Bible gives great light pointer to

The description, “familiar spirit” is a feminine gender case in its usage in
the Old Testament. It has the connotation of necromancy, divination or
conjuring of spirits. A person with a familiar spirit is like a medium, and
demon spirit is able to mimic other personalities and persons.
Sometimes, familiar spirit can be guardian demon associated strongly
with an individual, family or clan or village.
Most witches and wizards operate with familiar spirits. A good example
Old Testament is the popular witch of Endor in 1 Sam 28:7. It is possible
for a person operating with familiar spirit to use another person‖s face,
form, voice, shape and etc., to operate. It is not every face you see in your
dream attacking you that is the real person, sometimes witches and
wizards mimic other people‖s image to launch attack.
The word wizard in this verse is from the Hebrew word “Yiddeoni”, and it
is from the root word “Yada”, meaning “to know”. It is in the masculine
gender case. A wizard is believed to have esoteric knowledge and can
rough supernatural mean practice magic to manipulate nature, people i
circumstances like the witches.

Two major practices of these demonic people are specifically mentioned
in this particular verse peeping and muttering. By peeping, the idea is
more of spiritual ability through which they are able to see beyond the
natural. This is one of the reasons why they are able to practice
divination. Through demonic peeping they are able to see people‖s
future, blessing and destiny and consequently launch demonic attacks
ahead of time to exchange or destroy the blessings, destiny and life.
This should inform your strategic prayer, blindfolding those peeping into
your affair through demonic means. Muttering, this is related to the
Hebrew word “At” (whisper), and it is used in this verse to indicate
“oracle mongering” or incantation. In conjuring and demonic projection,
certain magical formulas are muttered or recited. Through muttering,
demons are directly invoked to accomplish certain evil assignments. You
must remember that you have a prophetic mandate to condemn every
tongue that rise against you in judgment.
Another revealing portion of the Bible that talks about this evil
phenomenon is a portion of Zechariah‖s vision. Zechariah 1:18-21 18 In
another vision I saw four ox horns. 19 asked the angel that had been
speaking to me, “What do these horns mean?” He answered, “They stand
for the world powers that have scattered the people of Judah, Israel, and
Jerusalem.” 20 Then the LORD showed me four workers with hammers. 21
I asked, “What have they come to do?” He answered, “They have come to
terrify and overthrow the nations that completely crushed the land of
Judah and scattered its people”
The prophet was shown a vision of the spiritual reality of Israel and
Judah‖s oppression. The horns are symbols of the terrorizing witchcraft
powers, making Israel and Judah to stay down. In as much as these are
representations of gentile‖s nations oppressing Israel, it can help in
understanding another dimension to evil forces fighting against us In
warfare prayers, you can pray against every evil horn fighting you This
scenario can be a spiritual representation of the physical real situation.
Do not forget that what happens in the spiritual manifest in the physical.
Four people were seen in that vision of Zechariah holding hammers
specifically to shake, frighten and break down the evil horns. In this

warfare you are launching, may heaven release Holy Ghost hammer on
every evil horn and spiritual installation that are set up against you.
Prophet Nahum adds another dimension to our understanding in his
prophetic declaration against “Nineveh”. “Because of the multitude of
the whoredoms of the well favoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts,
that sells nations through her whoredoms, and families through her
witchcrafts.” (Nah 3:4) This means that Nineveh the whore is being
punished. She is attractive and full of deadly magic charms, she
enchanted nations and enslaved them.
Two major things are identified with witchcraft here, selling of nation
and family. Is it not interesting to discover that witchcraft can be used to
spiritually sell nations and families? Can you now see why sometimes you
don‖t why the growth and prosperity of some families are? Every power
that wants to transact with the glory and destiny of my family should fall
and die!
What has Ezekiel to contribute to this important discussion? .“And say,
thus said the Lord God; woe to the women that sew pillow to all
armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt
souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will you save the souls
alive that come unto you? ...and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that
should not die, and save souls alive that should not live...? Where fore
thus said the Lord God; Behold I am against your pillows, wherewith you
there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your
arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that you hunt to make them
fly. Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand,
and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know
that lam the Lord.” (Ezekiel 13:18-21).
The above verses talk about witchcraft and what they do. Thus, “The
LORD said, look at the women among your people who make up
predictions. Denounce them and tell them what the Sovereign LORD is
saying to them: “You women are doomed! You sew magic wristbands for
everyone and make magic scarves for everyone to wear on their heads,
so that they can have power over other people‖s lives. You want to
possess the power of life and death over my people and to use it for your

own benefit. They dishonour God in front of people in order to get a few
handfuls of barley and a few pieces of bread. The witchcraft kills people
who don‖t deserve to die, and keep people alive who don‖t deserve to
live.
They tell lies to people, and people believe them. Now this is what the
Sovereign LORD says: “I hate the wristbands that you use in your
attempt to control life and death. I will rip them off your arms and set
free the people that you were controlling. I will rip off your scarves and
let my people escape from your power once and for all. Then you will
know that I am the LORD. By your lies you discourage good people,
whom I do not wish to hurt. You prevent evil people from giving up evil
and saving their lives. So now your false visions and misleading
predictions are over. I am rescuing my people from your power, so that
you will know that I am the LORD.”
This Ezekiel passage is more elaborate in its description of what is done
by witches and what witchcraft basically is. What is done by witches is
soul hunting. The target of witches is to keep perpetually in prison evil
people so they will not change, and to torment and afflict the innocents.
The prophet says they use magic wristbands, and scarves to have power
over other people. They want the power of death and life to use it for
their own benefits (Good News Bible). It is also indicated that they have
power of flight.
Witchcraft is frowned at in the Bible; it is an abomination before God.
The church is to fight whatever is of the devil, including witchcraft. We
have spiritual resources in Christ to destroy all the works of the devil. It
is high time you rise up to the task, and fight every power and spirit
worrying you, your family and your land. Every demonic twisting and
manipulation over your life and destiny must be stopped by fire by
anointing.
Every spiritual trader operating in your family and in your business must
be stopped and disciplined, for in this warfare campaign, power will
surely change hand! Holy Ghost hammer and thunder is coming over
every invisible arrow and installation of darkness over your life, After

this campaign, you will see great victories, for all your enemies shall fall
never to rise again!
I see you overcome all your household wickedness, and all the familiar
spirits working against you. This small material contains great
information that will facilitate, in a fast track manner, your long awaited
deliverance. Make it your companion prayer guide, and let the
revelations in it help you experience lasting liberation. The Lord will n to
expose every agent of darkness around you, and they shall be disgraced.
Remember that this is spiritual warfare; your targets are not humans but
spirit entities operating through human and non-human against you. The
focus of this campaign is to attack the attackers and destroy the
destroyers. It‖s a campaign of desperation, to invoke the divine wrath on
evil forces that are trying to frustrate and destroy you. You have the
prophetic mandate to take the war to the gates of hell and destroy every
destroyer. Arise and fight! (Rev 12:11).
EVIDENCES OF WITCHCRAFT
1. An assault of witchcraft leaves the Christian disoriented or
confused, he may even become clumsy. The soul under attack
cannot connect with his spiritual vision; his motivation is either
gone or lacking. Satan wants to cloud your vision and, thus steal
your destiny in God. This happens whether it is the wiccan,
satanic, type of witchcraft, or jezebel influence in the form of
control and domination, or what is called “charismatic witchcraft”
2. When one is targeted by curses and spells, he will feel
emotionally drained or debilitated and often physically sick all
the time or seasonal sickness. Those who have been the object of
spiritual curses and spells will carry a darkness that covered
them, a cloud in their countenance. The back of their neck is tight
and often painful; a band of oppression around their head (mind
control) manifests as a headache. The person might assume he is
sick, but it is NOT the flu. It is witchcraft. (with its accompanying
spirits of infirmity, death and destruction).
3. Often curses and spells released from witchcraft will arouse a
number of inordinate fears and immoral lust will plague the mind.

The theatre of the individual‖s imagination will be targeted
especially in dreams. At centre stage, grotesque images will flash
across the mind. The person will be further wearied by lack of
deep, restful sleep.
4. When curses and spells are aimed at a congregation, inter-
church relationships will experience constant problems,
distracting the body of Christ from its primary focus and calling.
Irritation and immorality levels will be high, but patience will be
low. People will be more likely to complain about and hate one
another. Gossip and backbiting will increase tremendously. (And
suspicion I might add) Rebellion against God and church leaders
will seem justified, and the temptation to withdraw from
fellowship will be strong. People will hate prayers, bible class and
righteous preaching, and they will begin to have gangs or groups
in the church. It is vital to note that any or all of these symptoms
can occur without the attack of witchcraft. However, once we
ascertain that we are truly fighting a spiritual enemy victory is
near.
In addition, witchcraft is one of the generational, foundational and
traditional problems in the life of people that needs a violent approach,
holy anger and unlimited demonstration of courage and determination
with stubborn approach. Therefore, to deal with witchcraft, we must
understand the rule of violent faith and prayers. The bible teaches us
that Christ came to destroy the works of the evil one... .but we war not
against flesh and blood, but powers, and principalities and spiritual
wickedness in high places, NOT the persons we deal with so
much....although they can be converted... .Christ gives us discernment .to
know which are called elect, and which will refuse His love.
How do we break the effect of curses, spells and confusion that block our
vision? {Vengeance is MINE, says the Lord. I will repay. (Romans 2:19)}.
This is VITAL. Too many Christians become bitter and angry in the
conflict. We must cooperate with God in turning what was meant for
into a greater good within us. While silent and noisy violent prayers
certainly an acceptable form of communication with God, it is our
experience that audible prayer is both more forceful and effective with

regard to spiritual warfare. A typical example of a prayer against
witchcraft and curses would be the following:
How do we throw off the power of debilitation and oppression? We put
on the mantle of praise for the spirit of heaviness. The church is, by
biblical definition, the house of the Lord, the temple of God. The temple
was created to offer worship to God and provide a place of access into
His habitation. The battle against us seeks to keep us from that purpose.
If you are under an assault of witchcraft, begin to listen to praise tapes in
your home or car. Sing along with them, letting your heart reach to the
Lord. Build a buffer of worship around your soul. Become thankful for all
that God has given you. The scripture says we “enter His gates with
thanksgiving and His courts with praise” Ps. 100:4.
The operations and manifestations of witchcraft have become very
complex in our days. Sad enough, witchcraft has infiltrated into the
house of God. A lot of things are now happening. Most of these strange
occurrences are pure manifestation of witchcraft which has become part
and parcel of the life of m any. You can use these prayer points to bring
litigation against the powers of witchcraft, and to close all the doors of
your life against the powers of witchcraft agents. Take these prayer
points with holy anger and you will experience total freedom.
Nevertheless, the tragedy is that many destines, marriages, children,
countless souls, wealth, potentials and virtues have perished and wasted,
those who are supposed to occupy the front row have been programmed
to remain at the back seat. Many homes have suffered serious casualties
and untold hardship, villages, communities‖ states and nations have
experienced terrible tragedies simply because they have been subjected
to the whims and caprices of witchcraft practitioners who have
continued to carry out their activities, overtly and covertly.
Witchcraft is the legal or judicial arm of the devil. Why you may ask? This
is because witchcraft is an embodiment of evil and one of the strongest
armchairs. of Satan and the most wicked of his entire department.

Herbalist, idol worshippers, are members of witchcraft society and can
hardly do without them, hence they are the most wicked weapons which
the devil used and continue to use to perpetuate their evil work. Do not
forget that the word witchcraft means moving something backwards and
making sure that nothing good takes place. They change and refashion
things to conform to wickedness. They change joy into bitterness, love
into hatred, and peace into sorrow, good into evil, good health into
sickness, fertility into barrenness and beauty into ugly. The primary
functions of witchcraft are to change good things into bad things.
In the Eastern Ugandan District of Soroti, residents are still pondering
over a case in which powerful witches rendered a Preacher man
incapable of speaking for almost 3 years. The 28-year-old fire-brand
preacher had been touching the lives of many young people with his
sermons and evangelism. By the time he went suddenly mute in 2007.
after a church service, he had built a large following of very committed
Christians who would faithfully flock in his Pentecostal Church. He had
the anointing for hearing and many people were receiving their healing
at his church.
The woes of this young preacher-man started when the witches
discovered that clients were no longer visiting their shrines for
treatment and divine consultation as they used to before the Pentecostal
church was opened in the area. Their wraths were further provoked
when they learnt that the young preacher was always praying against
witches operating shrines in the area. The fears of senior witches grew
when some of their own members started converting to Christianity and
burning down their own shrines.
It was at this point that the most powerful witches in the area issued a
serious ultimatum to the preacher-man to stop interfering in the
activities of witches or he would be punished. These pronouncements
instead engineered a spiritual duel between the preacher-man and the
witches. To the amazement of Christians and the entire population in
area, the Preacher man just went mute one day after returning home

from his Church. He could not talk, although he had perfect hearing and
all attempts to consult medical doctors and speech specialists were
fruitless.
Boasting about their powers to the Christians, the witches went further
state that they would restore the speech ability of the preacher-man if
he accepted to disband his church and/or remove all Christian activities
altogether from the area. The preacher-man would not agree to these
conditions so be prepared to use prayer to deal with the spell of
witchcraft that muted him. Luckily for the preacher-man, a renowned
Evangelist, Pastor Robert Kayanja, visited Eastern Uganda in a healing
crusade recently and he was able to restore the speech of the preacher-
man once again through a miraculous healing. The preacher-man was
able to speak for the first time in 3 years and everybody seemed happy to
hear him speak again. The only people who may not be happy with this
miraculous healing are the witches. We hope, they will this time, leave
the youthful preacher-man in peace.
Witchcraft reinforcement is one of the strategies through which the evil
powers re-establishes themselves in the life of victims. There is always a
need to pray and war warfare against evil reinforcement of witchcraft
powers against the children of God. Remember the bible says upon
mount Zion there shall be deliverance and the children of Israel will
inherit their inheritance. If you are not a child of Zion (i.e. be born again,
you can‖t receive deliverance through the Holy Ghost and the name of
Jesus).
Many of us come to church and fellowships just to seek signs, wonders
and miracles. The bible says in Psalm 103:7, ―He made known his ways
unto Moses; His acts unto the children of Israel.‖ God showed His ways to
Moses, and to the children of Israel. He revealed His works. The children
of Israel were equipped to only receive the result of what God is doing;
that is, signs and wonders, but they never bothered to know Him as a
person. They knew God‖s works but they never knew His face like Moses.
In the same vein, many of us just want that quick miracle or solution and
break through rather than a proper walk with God with Jesus. Once you
pray yourself out of a long standing problem and you don‖t take time to

study and meditate on God‖s word in prayer and in character,
reinforcements come from the enemy, and they come with greater
strength (Matthew 1 2:43-44).
Why talk about evil reinforcements? Look at Proverbs 4:14-17. The
wicked never relent Because of this, for those who are reading this,
prayers are going to bring you back to favour and out of satanic
witchcraft manipulation in Jesus name. These prayers should be prayed
even more aggressively by those with the specific cases mentioned
below.
1. Those having repeated cases of fibroid, miscarriages, blood
spotting.
2. Those seeing masquerades and snakes in their dreams.
3. Those experiencing recurring sicknesses.
4. Children of kings and queens and village chieftains who are
experiencing closed heaven, hardship, lack, etc.
5. Those who have experienced financial advancement in the past,
but it all looks like the gains are being unwound.
6. Those experiencing witchcraft marks and signs on their bodies,
and also those experiencing cobwebs, strange reptiles and flies,
cockroaches (in strange formation) around the house.
7. Those who are been pressed down.
8. There are those that have the experience of heavy pressure on
the chest, the sensation of biting teeth or limbs being painfully
twisted.
9. Many people feel intense pressure on the chest, choking of throat
and an actual ghostly sexual and brutal encounter.

name.

advancement and manifestation, Holy Ghost Thunder uproot and
thunder them to pieces in Jesus name.
