51 HUMAN CREATION IN THE QOR’AN Human is being most perfect at this earth, because human have an idea, brain, feel and power. With his intellectuality human can struggle to keep life, find food and with their feel can to keep save another human to save earth and all of another beings. The human cannot alone life otherwise they are need another human to helped so human can called as a social being. At the qur’an human just not to one called, various term used to show kind life aspect God creating human in holy of condition the meaning is that human have an potential with all full of that god bring to the human when they born at earth. That potentials human has 2 kind is a physical potential and spiritual potential. Physical potential human have is that body, and psikies body. It is why human is a perfect being who god created. As long as human can live together with another human, it is will be make a peace world. Why the qor’an used 3 of manner to imagine of human , first is used word hijjaiyah like alif, nun and sin is insan and basyar and the third is a bani adam. ْم بَ َش ٌر تَْنتَ ِش ُرون ْنتُ َ ِذَا أ َّم إ َرا ٍب ثُ ْن َخلَقَ ُكْم ِم ْن تُ َ يَاتِ ِه أ َ ََ َو ِم ْن آ And among his signs is this, that he created you (adam) from dust,and then [hawwa’ (eve) from adam’s rib, and then offspring from the semen ,and] behold you are human being scattered! Qs ar rum :20 َونَفَ َسَّوْيتُهُ ِذَا ٍ َم ْسنُو ٍن . فَإ َصا ٍل ِم ْن َح َمإ ْ ِي َخاِل ٌق بَ َش ًرا ِم ْن َصل ِن َمََلئِ َكِة إ ْ قَا َل َربُّ َك ِلل ِذْ َوإ ْخ ُت فِي ِه ِم ْن ُرو ِحي فَقَعُوا لَهُ And (remember) when your lord said to the angels; im going to create a man (adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. “ so, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall ( you ) down prostrating yourselves unto him. 52 Meaning from this verse al baqarah : 1. God tell to the angel a god will be make khalifah (representative from god) 2. God choice a human as a kholifah in the earth 3. Angel look how human make their job in this world, include from angel, human like do damage of earth and killed her species. 4. God more knew than the angels What the human fungtion as the khalifah in the earth: As the khalifah from the god in the earth, human have 2 fungtion and must be do until the end. First, is to make this world still peace, and the second is to keep doing so the earth not damage. Human bodies it is like engine and have the complicated structure in this earth. This complex engine have fungtion, can to looking, hear, breath walking, rung faster and feeling good taste in every days. He have organitation system and complicated. This can see from structure anatomi and activities of muscle and all of organt in body.2 َو َشْي هوةٍ َض ْعفًا هم َجعَ َل ِم ْن بَ ْعِد قُ هوةً ثُ هم َجعَ َل ِم ْن بَ ْعِد َض ْع ٍف قُ ِذي َخلَقَ ُكْم ِم ْن َض ْع ٍف ثُ ه هَّللاُ ال بَةً ُق َما يَ َشا ُء َو ُهَو ُ يَ قَ ِدير ْخل ْ ُم ال عَِلي ال َُ ْ Allah is he who created you in ( a state of ) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness and grey hair, he creates what he wills. And it is he who is the all knew, the all powerfull . ِع َظا ًم ُم ْضغَةَ ْ نَا ال فَ َخلَقْ ُم ْضغَةً عَلَقَةَ ْ نَا ال فَ َخلَقْ َعلَقَةً ْطفَةَ نَا النُّ َّم َخلَقْ َّم ثُ ْح ًما ثُ لَ َ ِع َظام ْ ا فَ َك َسْونَا ال َخاِلِقين ْ ْح َس ُن ال َ َر َك ََّّللاُ أ ا آ َخ َر فَتَبَا قً ْ نَاهُ َخل ْ ْن َشأ أ ََ َ Then we made the nutfah into a clot ( a piece of thick coagulated blood) then we made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then we made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then we clothed the bones with flesh, and then we brought it forth as another creation. So, blessed is allah , the best of creator. 55 THE BIRHT OF HUMAN Pregnancy is an amazing grace of Allah SWT to many of us are curious about the stage of development of the fetus in a mother's womb.1 very unusual, because Allah created man or a fetus that was originally just came from meeting sperm cells with egg cells that are not even visible to the eye and in 9 months could be a baby. fetus preceded by two pieces of the cell can have a complete organ and complex which makes it a complete humans and should be responsible for what they do. As described in the QS. Al - Waqi'ah verses 56-59: نَ ۡح نُ كۡم فَ َٰ نَ ۡ َخل و َن َق َصِّ دق ۡو ََل ت َر َء ل ٥٧ۡ ُُيت م َّما ت ۡمن و َن َ فَ ۡم َ أ ٥٨ ُنت َ َءأ ُ ق ونَه تَ ۥُٓ ۡم نَ ۡح ن ۡخل أ و َن َ ِّلق َٰ َخ ۡ ٱل ُ٥٩ 57 We created you. Will ye then admit the truth? 58 Have ye seen that which ye emit? 59 Do ye create it or are We the Creator?2 In the Al-Quran mentioned that the embryo split in two; First, perfect (mukhallaqah) and the second is not perfect (ghair mukhallaqah). The interpretation of the verse is: Scientifically, the embryo in its development phase as imperfect in the composition of their organs. Most organs (such as the head) looks bigger than its body compared with other organs. More important than that, some members of the body of the embryo created ahead of the others, even other parts have not yet formed. For example, the head. He formed before before the end unformed body parts, like arms and legs. After that, slowly began to behold the arms and legs. No doubt, this is I'jaz `ilmiy (miracle of science) contained in the Koran. Al- Qiyamah 36-37 : يَ ۡح َس ب أ ن َ َٰ َر ٱ َك س ۡۡلِّ ن َس ۡ ى أ دًىُ٣٦َ ُُن ي ت َٰ ّٖي ي ۡمنَ ِّ من َّمنِّ فَةٗ ۡم يَ ك ن طۡ لَ أ ٣٧َ Translation : does men thing that he will be left uncotroled without (perpose). Wah he not adrop out sperm emitteed (in lowly form)3 They are formed from a drop of semen radiated by a man and met with the woman's eggs in the ovum which later became 'alaqah (clot) and after 2 weeks then turned into mudghah (lump of meat ). 56 ُكْو ُن بَ ْينَهُ ِر َحتَّى َما يَ ْه ِل النَّا َ ِعَ َم ِل أ ُكْم لَيَ ْعَم ُل ب َحدَ َ َّن أ ِ َوإ َها، ُ ِكتَا ُب، فَيَ ْعَم النَّا ُل ِر فَيَ ْد ُخل ْ ْي ِه ال ُق َعلَ ِ ِذَراعٌ فَيَ ْسب ِالَّ َها إ َوبَ ْينَ ٌم( ِر ُّي َو ُم ْسِل بُ َخا ْ َها. ) َرَواهُ ال ُ ِة فَيَ ْد ُخل َجنَّ ْ ْه ِل ال َ ِعَ َم ِل أ ب "Surely one of you gathered its creation in the mother's abdomen for 40 days in the form nuthfah (the union of sperm with ovum), then into 'alaqah (clot) like that anyway. Then it became mudhghah (lump of flesh) like that anyway. Then an angel was sent to him for blowing the soul in it, and ordered to write four things, namely write fortunes, his death, his deeds and wretched or happy. So for the sake of Allah is no god has the right at worship correctly but He, verily one of you practiced with the deeds of Paradise, so the distance between himself and heaven only stayed an hour, but the record (destiny) ahead of him and he practiced with the deeds of hell , then he entered it. And indeed one of you practiced with the deeds expert hell, so the distance between him and hell only stayed an hour, but the record (destiny) ahead of him and he practiced with the deeds of Paradise, then he entered it ". [Reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim] Surah al – ‘alaq : ۡ َرأ ۡ ِّذ َر ي بِّٱ ۡسِّم بِّ َك ٱق ٱل ُ َق َّ َخل ١َ ُُق َ َخل َن َ َٰ ۡۡلِّ ن َس ٍق ٱ ُ ِّم ٢ۡ ُُن َعلَ ۡ َرأ ُّ َك ۡ ٱق ب َو َر َرم ۡۡلَكۡ ٱ ٣ُ 1 Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth 2 Createth man from a clot. 3 Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous. Verily We created man from a product of wet earth. 13 .Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging. 14 .Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. 57 WATER CYCLE The water cycle describes the existence and movement of water on, in, and above the Earth. Earth's water is always in movement and is always changing states, from liquid to vapor to ice and back again. The water cycle has been working for billions of years and all life on Earth depends on it continuing to work; the Earth would be a pretty stale place without it. Water cycle in al-qur’an Surah Ar Rum 48 َوۡد َق ۡ َرى ٱل ُهۥُ ِك َسٗفا فَتَ ل ُء َوَيۡجعَ َف َي َشآ ِء َكۡي َيۡب ُس ُطهۥُ فِي ٱل َّس َمآ ِثي ُر َس َحاٗبا فَ َح فَتُ َٰ ِ رَي ِذي يُۡر ِس ُل ٱل َّ ٱ َّّللُ ٱل ِذَا ُهۡم َي ۡستَۡب ِش ُرو َن ٤٨ ُء ِمۡن ِعَباِدِهٓۦ إ ِ ِهۦ َمن َي َشآ َصا َب ب َ ِذَآ أ ِل ِهۦ فَإ َٰ َيۡخ ُر ُج ِمۡن ِخلَ Meaning "It is God who sends forth the winds (of hope) so that they raise a cloud whereupon He spreads it over the skies as he wills, and causes it to break up so that thou seest rain issue from within it and as soon as he causes it to fall upon whomever he will of his servants lo! 58 Water cycle in al-qur’an Surah Al Baqarah 22 ِذي ۡر َض لَ ُك َجعَ ُم ٱل َل َّ ۡۡلَ َر ٱ َٰ ٗشا َء فِ ٗء َوٱل َّس َمآ َنآ ب ن َز َل ِ َ ِم َن ِء َوأ ٗء َمآ ِت ِ فَأ ِهۦ َۡخ َم َر َج ٱل َّس آ َٰ َمَر ب ِم َن َّ ٱلث ا ِرۡزقٗ م ُكۡ ل فَ َل َّ ُوا تَۡجعَ َِّّللِ ندَاٗدا ل ۡم َ أ نتُ َ ُمو َن َوأ تَۡعل ٢٢َ Meaning “ (He) who made for you the earth a bed (spread out) and the sky a ciling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to alloh equals while you know 9that there is nothing similar to Him)”. 2 The water cycle has no starting point, It bagin in the oceans, since that is where most of Earth’s water exists. The sun, which drives the water cycle, heats water in the oceans. Some of it evaporates as vapor into the auir, a relatively smaller amount of moisture is added as ice and snow sublimate directly from the solid state into vapor. Rising air currents take the vapor up into the atmosphere, along with water from evapotranspiration, which is water transpired from plants and evaporated from the soil. The vapor rises into the air where cooler temperatures cause it to condense into clouds. Air currents move clouds around the globe , and cloud particles collide, grow, and fall out of the sky as precipitation. Some precipitation falls as snow and can accumulate as ice caps and glaciers, which can store frozen water for thousands of years. Snowpacksin warmer climates often thaw and melt when spring arrives, and the melted water flows overland as snowmelt. Most principitation falls back into the oceans or into land, where due to gravity the precipitation flows over the ground as surface runoff. A portion of runoff enters rivers in valleys in the landscape, with streamflow moving water towards the oceans. Runoff, and groundwater seepage, accumulate and are stored as freshwater in lakes. Not all runoff flows intorivers, though. Much of it soaks into the ground as infiltration. Some ofthe water infiltrates into the ground and replenishes aquifers (saturated subsurface rock), which store huge amounts of freshwater for long periods of time . some infiltration stays close to the land surface and can seep back into surfece water bodies and the ocean as groundwater discharge , and some groundwater finds openings in the land surface and emerges as freshwater springs. Yet more groundwateris absorbed by plant roots to end up as evapotranspiration from the leaves. Over time though all of this water keeps moving, some to reenter the ocean. Th eocan as a storehouse of water. The water pie showing that 96,5% of Earth’s water is n the oceans. Cycle sounds like it is describing how water moves above, on, and through the Earth and it does. But, in the Fact much move water is in storage for long periods of time than is actually moving through the cycle. The storehouses for the vast majority of all water on Earth are the oceans. It is estimated that of the 332,600,000 cubic miles (mi3) (1,386,000,000 cubic kiometers (km3)) of he world’s water supply, about 321,000,000 mi3 (1,338,000,000 km3) is stored in oceans. 59 If you have ever been sea sick, then you know how the ocean is never still. You mightthink taht the water in the oceans moves around because of waves, which are driven by winds. But actually, there are currents and rivers in the oceans that move massive amounts of water around the world. These movements have a great deal of influence on the water cycle. 3 Water cycle is made up of a few main parts it is Evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. • Evaporation is heat from the sun provides that energy for water to cahnge from a liquid, like we drink, into a vapour. There is almost always water vapour in the air around as, but we can not see it. On a hot, sunny day water will evaporate faster than on a cold or cloudy day. • Condensation is when water vapour cools, it condenses back into tiny droplets of liquid water. These droplets are small enough to float in the air and eventually collect together to make a cloud. Clouds can be blown by the wind to move water to different parts if the earth. • Precipitation as more and more water droplets form, they will join together to form bigger water drops in the clods. These drops become too heavy to stay in the air and will fall to earth as rain. If it is very cold, the water might freeze and fall as hail or snow. Any water that fall from the sky, rain, hail or snow is called precipitation. • Runoff is some precipitation will soal into the ground or be taken by plants, but the rest will runoff into streams, rivers, lakes and make its way to the ocean. When water falls back to earth as precipitation, it may fall back in the oceans, lakes or rivers or it may end up on land. When it ends up on land, it will either soak into the earth and become part of the “ground water” that plants and animals use to drink or it may run over the soil and collect in the oceans, lakes or rivers where the cycle starts all over again. 4 Aristotle's description About Clouds and Rain. Aristotle in his third book entitled Meteorological Observation has described the layer of air that he was' neighborhood joint for fire and air, and that the sun was the basic factor and the first occurrence of the cloud, because the process of evaporation (vaporization) and solidification / condensation (condensation) is due to close or the sun away from the earth. The air layer consisting of air and fire in the description of Aristotle and his theories rely on an opinion that may not consist cloud / happened / is formed at the height of the highest mountain, because the air above the top of the mountain containing the fire as a result of the geographical movement of the sun. 61 SKY AS ROOF One of Science phenomenon that cantains and explianed in Al – Qur’an before the expert solved or found some verification in Science Research such as sky as roof in space. More than 750 verses of Al – Qur’an which explained about Astronomy phenomenon, which notabene is the object of Science. And also more than 40 Qor’an verses which explained about Astronomy. One of the Qor’an verse that explined is ولق غُو ٖب ٣٨ َم َّسَنا من ل َو َما ٖم َّيا َ ة أ َو َما َب يَن ُهَما ف ي ستَّ ر َضۡ ۡلَ َو ت َوٱ َمَٰ قَنا ٱل َّس َٰ و ََلَقَ د َخلَ ” and we had created sky and earth and we made both of them in six term and never feel tiring” (QS. Qaf :38) Base on Imam Al – Qurthubi, Imam Baidhawi, Imam Al Alusi, Imam Khzin, Imam Al Baghawi11 meant of “six term” is six day based on a counting of human in the earth. From sunrise till sunset from Sunday , Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday till Friday. Allah has explained about earth and sky that have relation and this verse eplained how sky and earth formed ...... َنا ل ۡۡف ي ر ض َو َجعَ ُه ٱ ۡۡ م َي هتَ ُدو َن ۡلَ َّ ل عَ َّ ٗٗل ل َها ف َجا ٗجا ُسبُ َنا ف ي ل َو َجعَ ه م َن تَ مي َد ب س َي أ َٰ َرَو ۡ٣١ “and We placed within the earth firmly set montains, lest it sould shift with them, and We made therein passes as roads that they might be guided”( QS Al – Anbiya : 31) َنا َو َجعَ َء ل َها ُم ع ر ٱل َّس ُضو َن َمآ ت َٰ َو ُه م َع ن َءاَي ۖ ٗفا َّم حفُو ٗظا َسق ٣٢ “and we have made the heaven of roof, safe and well guarded. Atmosphere which rounded the earth have big contibution that very important to human and any other creations and any species in the earth. 1. Definition of Atmosphere Atmosphere is The envelope of gases surrounding the earth or another planet: part of the sun’s energy is absorbed by the earth’s atmosphere2 By broken some meteors and meteroids, atmosphere will broken and just made ruins of meteor before fall down to our earth. 62 of gas, and the layers that have big influence in our earth. We can imagine without atmosphere meteroids and meteors will freely fall down to earth, our earth will broke and no life there. Most of people who looks to sky and never thought about function of it. We were never thought what happen to our earth if it has no protector(atmosphere). Our earth has experienced puch from big meteor and located in Arizona, United States. This phenomenon made big cauldron or we can called that as the biggest meteor meteor cauldron in the world. If our earth has no atmosphere (ozon) the million of meteroids and asteroids will fall down to earth, and make our earth couldn’t dwelling. So, function of protector from atmosphere make us possible to life safely. And the miracle of it was declared in Al – Qur’an . Atmosphere also filtering rays from the space which bring the danger to us. Interestly, atmosphere just let the rays that have any benefits to life. For example ultraviolet rays and radio frequency. Both of them are the materials we needs. A little of UV rays that reached to earth is very useful to us. UV rays has many benefits to our health. This is the function of UV rays for our health : 1. Exposing skin to sunlight may help to reduce blood pressure, cut the risk of heart attack and stroke, a study suggests. 2. UV radiation has been used to successfully treat a number of diseases, including rickets, psoriasis, eczema and jaundice. “We suspect that the benefits to heart health of sunlight will outweigh the risk of skin cancer. The work we have done provides a mechanism that might account for this, and also explains why dietary vitamin D supplements alone will not be able to compensate for lack of sunlight. We now plan to look at the relative risks of heart disease and skin cancer in people who have received different amounts of sun exposure. If this confirms that sunlight reduces the death rate from all causes, we will need to reconsider our advice on sun exposure.”3 Here atmosphere or ozon are very important not only for human but for any species in the world. Nowdays global warming issues became a serrious topic that talked many people in the world. Global warming caused the ozon layer became less and less. It is make our earth became more hot than before. Atmosphere also filtering the radio signal. It is very important in aerotransportation world like plan, jet , etc. For telecomunication and information. Without atmosphere we couldn’t use telecomunication equipments like now. Atmosphere protect the signals from any distrubment from the space. The other function of atmosphere is protecting us from the coldest temprature from the space.that reched almost 270o Celcius under zero. Beside that, Allah created Van Allen Belt, a layer formed by the earth’s magnet , it is also contributed as protector to blocked the bad radiations which make our earth in danger condition. 64 Fingerprints Qur’an is the holy book of Islam, which is in the Qur’an tell about life, death, past, or future. Many verses in the Qur’an which have been attested by experts, and that story has existed since long time ago before the experts find the truth. Qur’an is not book science, but in the Qur’an there is so many science fact which have been attested by the modern technology. The Qur’an, the book that was sent down by God, definitely has a lot of uniqueness. It covers avariety of disciplines that are beneficial for human beings. Biological Sciences to study the structure, function, growth, origin, evolution and distribution of living things are disciplines included in the Qur’an. Generally, biological sciences are divided into several areas including anatomy, biophysics, biogeography, biochemistry, marine biology, molecular biology, cell biology, botany, biotechnology, physiology, microbiology, paleontology, pathology, virology and zoology. There are many verses in the Qur’an related to biology. Modern sciences has revealed a number of unique issues mentioned in the Qur’an from a scientific perspective. This study aim at pointing out some of the verses in the Qur’an that are associated with areas of biology related to human senses, the uniqueness of fingerprints, human skin, bacteria and viruses, female biology, seed germination and propagation of human progeny. Results of the survey show that there are many Qur’anic verses that were revealed by God in relation to Biological Sciences1 . There are many scientific phenomenon in the Qur’an, one of the phenomenon is about fingerprints. Fingerprints is the reproduction mark on something been exposed the skin of the palms or feet. The human fingerprints used to identification, because in the world there is no people who have a fingerprint exactly the same. The skin on our palms and soles exhibits a flow-like pattern of ridges and valleys. These papillary ridges on the finger, called friction ridges, help the hand to grasp objects by increasing friction and improving the tactile sensing of surface textures. The “Friction Ridge Patterns” sidebar describes the nature and origin of these characteristics. Another important use of friction ridges is person identification. The pattern of friction ridges on each finger is unique and immutable, enabling its use as a mark of identity. In fact, even identical twins can be differentiated based on their fingerprints. 65 the courts of law for nearly a century. Until recently, the testimony of latent fingerprint examiners was admitted in courts without much scrutiny and challenges. However, in the 1993 case of Daubert vs. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, Inc., the US Supreme Court ruled that the reliability of an expert scientific testimony must be established. Additionally, the Court stated that when assessing reliability, the following five factors should be considered: 1. whether the particular technique or methodology in question has been subject to a statistical hypothesis testing, 2. whether its error rate has been established, 3. whether the standards controlling the technique's operations exist and have been maintained, 4. whether it has been peer reviewed and published, and 5. whether it has a general widespread acceptance.3 As mentioned before, it is believed that forensic biology (fingerprints) has been discovered to be used in the as earlier human civilisation until recent ages (Bailey, 2013; Hamlin, 2013; Sharma, 1989). Setting up the scope of this study to three most used, important and famous area of forensic biology (Ate Kloosterman, 2014): Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) profiling, fingerprint analysis, and serology that indicate the importance of biology in forensic science thus to be correlated with the concept of Qur’an in Islam4 . Overtimes, the progress of the fingerprints are developed toward security system which serves as the data security. From children until adult, the pattern of fingerprints is not changes forever. Particularity of fingerprints has been delivered in Qur’an, verses Al-Qiyamah :3-4 : يَ ۡح َس ُب أ ُن َ َٰ ۡۡلِ ن َس َم ٱ هُ َّن نَّ ۡج َم َع ِع َظا ل أ ۥ ٣َ (3) Do people think that we shall not assemble his bones? َي بَنَانَهُ َس ِو ُّ َن ن ىٰٓ أ َٰ ِدِري َن َعلَ َٰ ى قَ َٰ بَل ۥ ٤َ (4) Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! It is very amazing, that one of the part of human body can represent all of the body. The part of that human body is not same, and it is more amazing than that part. 67 BLACK HOLE IN SPACE IS CONTAINED IN THE QURAN Islam is a religion which has many believers in the world. In fact, it was include as a biggest religion and excessively attentived by society nowdays. Al-Qur’an or Qor’an is a holy book of Islam that immediately gave by Allah SWT to His Prophet, Muhammad SAW to be an orientation and guidance of life for moslem in the world. But, unconsious verses in the Qor’an have many secular knowledges which must learn by moslem in the world. Except has a function as an orientation, Qor’an also has many verses that require moslems to learn science during their life because Allah will increase the value of people who has science. Allah saying in Qor’an in Surah AlMujadilah verse 11: َها ُّ ي َ أ َٰٓ يَ ِذي َن ٱل فِي َّ ْ ِذَا قِي َل لَ ُكۡم تَفَ َّس ُحوا إ ْ َٰٓوا َمنُ ِل ِس َءا َم َج ۡ ٱل فَ ْ َس ُحوا ۡ ٱف ِ َسح ۡ ٱ َّّللُ يَف ِذَا قِي َل َوإ م لَ ُكۡۖۡ ٱن ُش ُزوا فَ ْ ْ ٱن ُش ُزوا ِ ٱ َّّلل ِذي َن ُ يَۡرفَع َّ َو ٱل ِمن ُكۡم ْ َمنُوا ِذي َن َءا َّ ٱل ْ وتُوا ُ أ َ م ۡ ِعل ۡ َو ٱل ٖۚ ت ُو َن َخبِ ٱ َّّلل يٞر ُ َد َر َج بِ َم ١١ ا تَۡعَمل “O you who believe! When you are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room. Allah will give you (ample) room (from His Mercy). And when you are told to rise up [for prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause), or for any other good deed], rise up. Allah will exalt in degree those of you who believe, and those who have been granted knowledge. And Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.” So, we as a moslem has an obligation to learn knowledges in order to Allah increase our value. Moslems had have a holy book, Qor’an that containing many knowledges that can be a guidance for moslems in the world. Allah creat human with perfection and completeness. Not only that, He also give the role to human as Khalifatullah Fil Ardh to manage and employing the universe. Therefore, Allah has given potention to human include intelligence. With their intelligence, human prosecuted to read, research, discuss, and comprehend the creation of universe and able to find it as a science as well as to result the technologies to modernization. The concepts of Qor’an in science Science is the one of main substance of Holy Qor’an. Moreover, the word ’ilm mentioned in the Qor’an 105 times. Science is the one of main requirement of Islam Religion, this is evidenced by the fact whenever Moslems to practice their religion requires precise timing. For example, in

68 praying, determining the beginning of Ramadhan, the pilgrimage are ahve a certain time and to determine the exact of time required astronomy whch is included in science. We told earlier that the Qor’an has many privileges and virtues in it. one of the privileges and virtues of the Qor’an which give a general overview of natural sciences to stimulate the development of various sciences. In other words in the Qor’an also contains a lot of sciences that humans need to develop knowledges. In the assessment of the verses contained in the Qor’an there are a lot of knowledges, especially in the scince that ultimately it has been proven by the theories of scientists, there are Big Bang phenomenon, Orbit, Rain process, the sky object like sun, black holes, and many others. 1 Science in the Qor’an In ths discussion, we will learn about the sky object that is Black Holes. Blackhole is a giant star shaped that can suck and sweep all celestial bodies in the vicinity. Black holes is arguably the most phenomenal discovery of the 20th century in the field of astronomy. Before it, there was a scientist who never imagined that there are a number of stars in the sky that looked awful, especially the star is not visible. Surah Al-Isra’ verse 44, explain: ِ ُح َو تُ لَهُ ُت َسب َم ۡر ُض َو ٱل َّس ۡب ُع ٱل َّس ۡۡلَ ََّّل ٱ ِ ِن ِ من َش ۡيٍء إ َوإ ٖۚ ِه َّن َو َمن فِي ِ ُح بِ َحۡمِدِه ِ يُ َسب ۦ نَّهُ إ ٖۚ ُهو َن تَ ۡسبِي َح ُهۡم قَ ۡ ِكن ََّّل تَف َولَ ۥ وٗرا َكا َن ٤٤َ حِلي ًما َغفُ “The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [ Allah ] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving.” Black holes by the definition of NASA scientists have a very strong gravitational fiwld. As aresult, the heavenly bodies sucked with high intensity without exception. It was so strong that even light can not escape from a straw. Blackholes are formed when a massive star begins to run out of energy and fuel. Although unvisible, the black hole has magnetic field high level. Regarding weight, black hole as heavy as the earth which its diameter less than one centimeter. 69 30 kilometer s only. There are many black holes at the center of our galaxyand other galaxies, and only weighs millions of times as heavy as the sun. It is estimated that the number of black holes in the universe millions and even thousands of millions. Come the idea of a researcher that a black hole has a certain size that walked in space. It would has passed in front of a star, so the light was covered from us, such as the incidence of solar eclipse. After the idea was implemented and proven to be true, then scientists agree that the star’s light is closed for the passage of the black hole, resulting in the closing of the light coming from the star. This happened during a certain period of time, then the star showed its rays. The Qor’an mentions many phenomena of the universe and outer space objects, stars, planets, names of stars, galaxies and others. Before claiming the existence of the phenomenon of black holes in the Qor’an. Surah AtTakwir verse 15-16 explain: ِس ُم بِ ۡ ق ِس ُ فَ َ ََٰٓل أ ُخنَّ ِر ٱل ١٥ۡ َجَوا ِس ۡ ٱل ُكنَّ ٱل ١٦ۡ “So I (God) swear by the retreating stars (15) That runs and disappears (16)” In this verse, Allah swears by one of His creatures, the star named or have three characters. First, Khunnas are hidden and unvisible. Therefore, Satan also called Khannas, because he was not seen by the son’s of Adam. This is exacltly what scientists mentioned about the character of the invisible black hole. Second, Al-Jawaar moves fast and very fast. This is in accordance with the character of both the black hole moves. Lafadz in Qor’an more perfect than the explanation scientists, because this word means to move fast or run. While the moves did not describe moving quickly. Third, Al-Kunnas that sweep and engulf every met. This is in accordance with the character of the black hole. Kunnas derived from Kanasa means sweeping, miknasah; tool to sweep. Kunnas is plural of Kaanis. Kunnas is sighat muntaha jumuk (the highest plural) on a single from Kaanis. The scholar of classical commentators explain the meaning Khunnas aljawaaril Kunnas is a star whose light did not appear during the day and emerge at night. However, this is not the true meaning of interpretation. The interpretation most appropriate to the reality of the universe is a black hole. Perhaps this is also signaled by the Qor’an, “when the sun rolled,” (Surah At-Takwir verse 1). In the other sources, Al-Khunnas from the word Khanasa means hide (ikhtaba’a dan ikhtafa). The word Al-Khunnas is mubalaghah form, it means that the objects

70 that very hidden.2 Also can be defined lose of right. Al-Khannas is the unvisible stars. Some people said that it because that stars unvisible in the day and visible in the night.3 Al-Jawar, Jamak from al-Jariyah (run), means that move quickly. While, Al-Kunnas is verb; Kanasa it has a meaning to sweep. According to Dr. Zaghlul An-Najar, 4 Al-Khanasa is shighat muntahal jumuk. The singular is al-khanis is a thing that has process of movement from the surface of the other things. The concepts of Qor’an in social science Human understanding of the broader, fundamental and depth can actually be through the scriptures. For example through the Qor’an, human behavior can be understood broadly, deeply, even beyond the reach of the social sciencies, but it can be understood from the Qor’an. Therefore, that in fact to understand humans, would be more perfect when reached also through the Holy Qor’an references. Conclusion In the Qor’an, there are many verses that explain about the various sciences, both religious studies and general science. So to say that the Qor’an applies throughout the ages then it is true, because in Qor’an there is science that has long been expressed by the Qor’an. But can not be explained by humans hundred of years later, so that we as a Moslem youth should study the Qor’an not only learn about grammar alone, but we must also be able to uncover the science in it for benefitted in our lives. Sciences in the world are classified as first appears is based on the Qor’an and reforwarding by humans with various discoveries of new things on the earth. 72 EXPLANATION OF THE PHENOMENON OF THE MOUNTAIN PASSAGES THROUGH AL-QURAN Mount is one form of natural phenomenon that is very interesting to study. How not mountain is one of God's creations are widely discussed in the Qur'an. Many verses that describe the mountain as we see in the Al-Baqarah verse 63 below: ِذ َوإ َو َرفَ عنَا فَ وقَ ُكُم ۡ قَ ُك م َٰ نَا ِميثَ َخذ َ طو َر أ َو ٱل ۡ ُّ ة َّو ٖ ُكم بِقُ َٰ َءاتَ ينَ َمآ ْ ُخذُوا ْ ُكُروا ٱذ ۡ ُك م َّ َما فِي ِه لَعَل تَتَّقُو َن ٦٣ۡ "And (remember) when We took your promise and we lift Mount (Sinai) above you (as he says)" How Firm Hold what we have given you and remember what is in it, so that you fear Him ". In this case the man was ordered to study the mountain, which had the principle that mountains standing firm, and on him not overbearing. Through this verse we remind you that the mountain is a phenomenon and it contains a lot of meaning. Another example of God tells us to understand the mountain through the verses of the Khaf 47 َ َسيِ ُر ِجبَا َل َويَ وم ۡنُ َر ٱل ى ر َو َض تَ ۡلَ َح ٱ ٗدا َ ُه م أ م نُغَاِد ر ِمن ُه م فَلَ َٰ َو َح َش رنَ ِر َزٗة بَا ٤٧ۡ "And (remember) the day (when) we run the mountains and you will see that the earth is flat and we collect them (all mankind), and we did not leave any of them. From the verses above we can infer that the mountain in this case play a role in the hereafter or doomsday. That there is a mountain later will fly and collide with each other. As human beings we are required to learn and understand mountain phenomenon. That the mountain is a place where all living things grow. On the other hand many of history "of human civilization associated with mount one instance when Moses saw GOD Almighty on Mount Sinai. As for Noah that command make a mountain above the ship, and his ship landed on a mountain when the floods recede. In case mountain is a metaphor for all mankind that the mountain is a creation of God which is meant to admire his creations. That of mountain told to learn about human nature and the nature of the mountain itself, though he was tall and erect mountains exact glorify Allah SWT. Do you think it keeps its place. Though he walked (like) a cloud running. (That's) God's creation that creates the perfect everything. Indeed, He is conscientious of what you do. From here we can be a lesson that sometimes and the human mind is not biased guesswork. That in fact the mountain was going with the slab of the earth, and the mountain was growing like other living creatures. As we know first when the Krakatoa volcano erupted and separates the island of Java and Sumatra when the mountain was destroyed, after a few out came the child of Krakatau is now a large mountain. From there we can learn that the mountain was alive and human as she is biased to run, but instead of running in a real sense, the mountain runs are mountain grows.From this we can infer that the mountain is a creation of God is very impressing. Mount is a phenomenon in which God shows his power to his people. Many scientists who studied the phenomenon of the mountain, from its activities as well as bleak that the Qur'an says. Many researchers were amazed at his creation.Mountains are not only beautify the scenery. Examined from the science of geology, mountain serves as a counterweight earth from shaking. Mount following the impact of the giant plates that form the earth's crust. When two plates collide, the stronger slab slid down while the weak slab folded upward to form the highlands and mountains.The Qur'an describes the functions of the mountains in a few verses of them in Al Anbiya verse 21 and Surat an-Naba 'verses 6-7. 74 "Have We not made the earth as an overlay ?, and the mountains as pegs ?," (Surat an-Naba ': 6-7) so of learning the above we can draw a conclusion, that of a mountain we can learn how life was in the (mountain) carry the lot of life in it. including humans, animals and plants. all rely heavily on the mountain, what would happen if someday the mountain told quran must be destroyed and all life will be destroyed as well. if God willed it will all perish as well as human life. of the mountain we know that the mountain is a special creation of God, many of the events narrated by al-quran that occur on the mountain, we are now living as a successor to the nation must learn. not only about the mountain in the Qur'an a great deal about the various knowledge described. but in this case we should be able to sort out the science and everything depends on us how to respond to a science. 75 THE SALT WATER WHICH DOESN’T MIX WITH SWEET WATER In the pinture of the sea have been proved that all of the seas in the world not created as an unit. But these seas has different temperature, level of salinity, density of water mass and level of oxygen. On the picture that get by satelit, appear that each sea have different color fron the other sea. There are pitch blue, black, and even yellow. This different cause by different temperature in that seas. The other hands, also looks there is white straight line that separate a sea with the other sea. According to mufasir1 , when 2 seas met (even the salt water which doesn’t mix with sweet water), allah make both of seas still flow out and in, as cause from wind, wive, and the phenomenon of them some divider that separate both of the sea until the sea water not pass by the other sea. The research of scientific had been proved that everyseas have the same level of salinityeverytime, not less and higher. Beside that, in everysea have the compact level water mass, not less, not higher, the level of temperature stay still, and the color is never change. The scientist have found that the particles of water which there is in the red sea if move until imajination line in el-mandab2 chapter that will come back again. We already know that everything in the universe has a privilege and a characteristic, not just confined to living beings such as humans, animals, and plants. The seasand oceans that lie in front of us also has its own characteristics and different properties. There are some facts which state that in the earth’s surface there is a meting of saltwater and freshwater meet, but as if there is no bulkhead separating,so they never converge. There facts include: the meeing f two seas in the strait of Gibraltar (between neagra morocco and spain), the confluence of two rivers that flow into the south near cape town, south Africa the confluence of two rivers in manaus amazong, and the river underwater cenote angelite or goa angels small in mexico. But here I just would like to tell about the salt water which doesn’t mix with sweet water. Amazingly, the sea was bounded by a dividing wall. Not in the form o thick walls, its boundary is the sea itself. Moving the dividing wall between two seas and called the front (jabhah) that separates between the two forces. With the separator is every ocean preserving the characteristics that fit with living creatures (ecosystem) who lives in the envrontment. Its existence is full of wonder. How could ne marine was found two different colors? But that’s the fact. After looking carefully reviewing the information and the Al-Qur’an, scientists get way reveal its existence, namely in the strait of Gibraltar that connects between the Mediterranean sea and the atlantic ocean and separates spain and morocco. The name Gibraltar comes from the Arabic jabal tariq, which means tariq mountain. This name refers to the muslim general tariq ibn ziyad who conquered spain in 711. 1 Mufasir, the person who become interpreter 2 El-manded means “gerbang air mata” is the narrow that separate of asian (yaman in semenanjung arab) with Africa (Djibouti, in north side Somalia), with connected red sea with samudra hindia (teluk aden). 76 In the strait of Gibraltar that there is a meeting of two different types of ocean color. As there is the dividing line that separates the two. One part is a bit dark blue and the other parts seem lighter. Allah Subhanahuwata’ala says: بسم هللا ا لر حمن الرحيم مرج البحرين يلتقين 19 بينهما برزخ ال يبغين 20 “ He has let loosed the two seas ( the salt water and the sweet water) meeting together. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress.” ( surah Ar-Rahman; 19-20 ) وهوالذ ي مرج البحربن هذا عذ ب قرا ت و هذ املح ا جا ج وجعل بينهما بر ز جا و حجرامحجو را 53 “ And it is he who caused to flow two seas together, thin one is sweet, very palatable and this one is saltiest, bitter in taste, and placed a barrier in between them and a forbidden ban.” (surah Al-Furqaan; 53 ) The sea water from the atlantic ocean into the Mediterranean sea or ocean midway through Gibraltar. Both of them have different characteristics. The water temperature is different. The salt content is different. The denstiny of water also different. When the water met in the Gibraltar strait, the character of each water has not changed. We can see clearly where the water comes from atlantic ocean, and where the water comes from the midway sea or Mediterranean sea. If with think logically, certainly mixed, the fact doesn’t mix. Both of the water sea takes a long time to mix, so that the characteristics of water melt. The evaporation of water in the Mediterranean sea is very large, but water from a river that empty into the Mediterranean sea so decrease. That is why the water from atlantic ocean flow swift into the Mediterranean sea. The nature of the sea when it meets , according to modern sciences, cannot be mixed with each other. It is describe by expert oceanographers. Because there are the different race phase, surface tension prevent both of the sea water do not mix with each other, as there are thin walls that separate them. Seeing the scenic wonders ever seen in the deep ocean. The Al-Qur’an is impossible compiled by Muhammad SAW who lived in the seven century, an era when there is no sophisticated diving equipment to reach the locations in the depth of cea. Trutly a miracle. The two mases of water must have been mixing with each other and they must have been sharing identical, or at least, similar properties in salinity and density. On the contrary, even at places where the two seas were closest to each other, each mass of water preserved its properties. In other words, at the point where the two seas met, a curtain of water revented the waters belonging t the two seas from mixing

78 THE SEAS NOT MINGLING WITH ONE ANOTHER One of the properties of seas that has only recently been discover is related in verse of the Qur’an as follows : “He has let loose the two seas, converging together, with a barrier between them they do not break throught.” (The Qur’an, 55:19-20) This property of the seas, that they come together yet do not mingle with one another at all, has only very recently been discovered by oceanographers. Because of the physical force called “surface tension”, the water of neighboring seas do not mix. Cause by difference in the desnity of their waters, surface tension prevents them from migling with one another, just as if a thin wall were between them.1 Mediterranen Sea water is warm, saline, and less dense, compared to Atlantic ocean water. When Mediterranean Sea water enters the Atlantic over the Gibraltar sill, it moves several hundred kilometers into the Atlantic at a depth of about 1000 meters with its own warm, saline, and less dense characteritics. But their temperature, salinity, and densities do not change, because of the barrier that separates them. The interesting side to this is that during a period when people had no knowledge of physics, surface tension, or oceanography, this was revealed in the Al Qur’an. Despite the fact that there are large waves, strong currents, and tides in these seas, they do not mingle with one another, nor do they break through the barrier between them. Proven scientifically only very recently, this fact was pronounced in Surat ar-Rahman of the Qur’an 14 centuries ago. But when the Qur’an speaks about the divider between fresh and salt water, it mentions the existen of “a forbidding partition” with the barrier. God has said the Qur’an : “He is the one has set free the two kinds of water, one sweet and palatable, and the other salty and bitter. And He has made between them a barrier and a forbidding partition.” (The Qur’an, 25:53). Modern science has discovered that in estuaries, where fresh (sweet) and salt water meet, the situation is somewhat different from what is found in places where two seas meet. It has been discovered that what distinguishes fresh water from salt water in estuaries is a “pycnocline zone with a marked density discontinuity separating the two layers.2 DARKNESS IN THE SEAS AND INTERNAL WAVES “Or (the unbelievers’state) are like the darkness of a fathomless sea which is covered by waves above which are clouds, layers of darkness, one upon the other. If he puts out his hand, he can scarely see it. 79 The general environment in deep seas is described in the book named Oceans : The darkness in deep seas and oceans is found around a depth of 200 meters and below. At this depth, there is almost no light. Below a depth of 1000 meters there is no light at all.3 Today we know about the general sl equipment, developt with modern technology, structure of the sea, the characteristic of the living things in it, its salinity, as well as the amount of water it contains, its surface area and depth. Submarines and special enable scientist to obtain this information. Human beings are not able to dive more than 40 meters down without the aid of special equipment. They cannot survive unaided in the deep, dark parts of the oceans, such as at a depth of 200 meters. For these reason, scientist have only recently been able to discover these detailed pieces of information about seas. However, the statement of “darkness in a deep sea” was use in Surat Nur 1400 years ago. It is certainly one of the miracles of the Al Qur’an that such information was given at a time where no equipment to enable man to dive into the depths of the oceans was available. In addition, the statement in verse 40 of Surat Nur “... like the darkness of a fathomless sea which is covered by waves above which are waves above which are clouds... “ draws our attention the another miracle of the Al Qur’an. Scientists have recently disvovered that there are internal waves, which “occur on density interfaces between layers of different densities.” These internal waves cover the deep waters of seas and oceans because deep water has a higher density than the water above it. Internal waves act like surface waves. Internal waves cannot be seen by the human eye, but they can be detected by temperature or salinity changes at a given location.4 The statement in the Al Qur’an run absolutely parallel to the above explanation. Without research, one can only see the waves on the surface of the sea. It is impossible for one to know about the internal waves beneath the sea. Yet, in Surat Nur, God draws our attention to another type the wave that occurs in the depths of the oceans. Certainly, this fact, which scientist has discovered very recently, shows once again that the Al Qur’an is the word of God. BIOMIMETICS USING WAVES Biomimetics is aimed at solving problems by first examining, and then imitating or drawing inspiration from models in nature. 80 Our God has given us the design in nature as great blessings. Imitating them, taking them as models will direct mankind toward what is right and true. For some reason, only recently has the scientific community understood that nature’s design are an enormous resource and that these need to be made use of in daily life. One by one, today’s developing technologies a.re discovering the miracles of creation, and biomimetics is only one of the fields that’s putting the extraordinary designs of living things to use as models in the service if mankind. Sound moves through air and water in the form of waves, which bounce back if they strike on object. If you possess the necessary technology and knowledge, these rebounding waves can provide a great deal of information about the body they encountered, such as its distance from the source, its size, and the direction and speed of its motion. This technology to locate object by means of sound and pressure waves was developed in the 20th century, actually for military purpose. But today, it is also used to locate sunken ships and for mapping the ocean floor. However, millions of years ago, long before man discovered this technology, living thing in nature were using the sound waves they spread around them in order to survive. “And there is certainly a lesson for you in your livestock. 81 SUEZ CANAL PHENOMENON APPROPIATES WITH THE VERSES OF THE KORAN Believe in the Koran is one of the essential principles or pillars 1 (Iman) for Moslem. It is the fourth pillar after believe in God, His angles and His prophets. There four Holy Book that had been given by God since the creation of this universe. They are Psalm, The Old Tastement,The New Tastement and the Koran. Psalm was given to Prophet David, The Old Tastement was given to Prophet Moses, The New Tastement was given to prophet Jesus and the Koran was given to the last Prophet he is Muhammad. As the last Holy Book, the Koran is the most perfect Book for Moslem for it is the complement of three previous Books. The Koran has its strength that no one can compete it. It contains of all the knowledge and things of life in this universe. It is too much to be explained one by one of its strengthness. All of them are had been written there such as the time dimentions (past, future and present time dimensions), history of the ancients, describing of the future’s life, human’s rule how to be a good Moslem, human’s problem solving and etc. Beside that, this last Holy Book fulls of sciences that has been proved by scientist recently. This is the reason why the Koran called as a miracle that gave to the Prophet Muhammad. One of those miracles from the Koran is in science’s overview, a river under a sea. In the Koran’s term it is called by 2 suez canal. It has been proved by scientists as the fact of the Koran’ verses. In addition, before this phenomenon found by the scientists, this last Holy Book had been said about this miracle for about 1400 years ago before there was no modern technology as the proof. This river is located in Cenote Angelita; Mexico, and China eatern sea. Definitely, it cause a lot of questions why those water are not blended while they are in the same area. The truth is there is a separating surface called barrier. It has function as the separater to each water for the subtance among them are different even in one area. The separation of the seawater and the fresh water also because of the differences of the elements of its contain. These differences elements create its own streams. Firstly, th writer will explain about the differences element that contain in sea and fresh water. Sea water has similar name with salt water. It made from several elements composer. They are solid, gas, koloid and dissolved-solute. 82 organic (SiO2). Gas is divided in to two types, conservative (N2,Xe) and nonconservative (O2,CO2). Koloid is insoluble solution in water that divided in organic (amilum) and an-organic (S, FeOH3) while dissolved-solute is the main composer of the sea water’s element that is 3 soluble has two types elements. They are organic (CH4,C2H6) and an-organic (NaF, Nal). Based on what Millero stated in 1982, the main elements of the sea water are 965.69 kg of seawater and others 34.49 g are sodium, sulphate, magnesium, bicarbonate, calcium, potassium, chloride, minor and trace element. Fresh water’s course comes from the surface and the ground water. Fresh water doesnt have any taste as like the sea water does. There are some elements that contained in fresh water. They are oxygen, nitrate,carbon dioxide, phosphate and others. Fresh water also has living component as the supporter such as plankton, algae, flagellata etc. Those explanations had been showed that the sea and fresh water can’t be united. This phenomenon had been written in Surah al-Furqan verse 53 and Surah ar-Rahman verse 19-20. Al-Furqan : 53 ِذ ؠ َّ َو َمَر َج ِن ُهَوال بَ ح َر ي َر ال ا بٌفُ هذَا َعذ هذَا ٰ ٰ ٌح َو تٌ َۚو َجعَ ِمل َل ٌۚ ٌۚ َجا ٌج ُهَم ا ا ُ بَ ينَ َم ح ُجوا ًرا ۝۵۳ َب ر َز ًخا َّو ِح ج ًرا Meaning : “And it is He who has released (simultaneously) the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.” Ar-Rahman : 19-20 َمَر َج ن بَ ح َر ي ال ي ن تَِقٰ ُهَم يَل ۝۱۹ ا بَ ينَ ٌۚ ِن ي بَ ر َز ًخ ۝٢٠َّ ِلايَب ِغٰ Meaning : “He released the two seas, meeting (side by side). Between them is a barrier (so) neither of them transgresses.” 3 Soluble : easy to be mixed and switched with others element,able to be dissolved to form a solution

83 The writer will explain two examples of the suez canals that had been written in the Koran, they are ; 1. Cenote Angelita in Mexico It was found by Mr. Jaeques Yves Costeau. He is an expert of oceanographer and an expert diver from France. He discovered the Suez while he was diving the sea. After he dived for about 90 meters depth, he found something different under the water. At this depth, he saw different water that looked as a stream of water with some small lands, some living trees even with its leaves that fall to that small lands. After this discovery, Anatoly Beloschi, a Russian scientist observing this strange water phenomenon. He said, “We are 30 meters deep, fresh water, then 60 meters deep- salty water and under me I see a river, Island and fallen leaves”. His state expalins that in this area there are three different water. The surface is fresh water, then salty water (sea) and the bottom is the river or the Suez. 2. China Eatern Sea The bottom of sea has similar 4 topography with the surface land’s topography. Sea bottom has mountains, 5 chasm and even rivers. Those river is the river from the surface land. Some geographists captured this topography in 1.000 until 2.500 meters depth. At the bottom of the sea there is a seamount with 2.000 meters height, as high as Merapi mountain. The pictures are captured 10.000 km² wide acreage in 3-dimensions. Some rivers as the land’s surface river have its streams beneath the ovean. From that capture, it also can be seen a chasm and sheer rock. It looks like a submarine fan as the result of the spreading sands from rivers that come from the river mouth, Sarawak. It had been observed from 900 m depth that there are some rivers under the ocean in 1,000 meters depth. Those river have width between 200-500 meters by 20-40 meters depth. These are winding and branching rivers as like the rivers that can be seen in the surface land. These canals (suez canal) have sections in V shape. It shows that these canal is a new river and does not has alluvial sediment area yet. The old canals ususally have different shape of the section, it has U shape. Not only rivers that created as the continuance from the land’s rivers, it can be also from the 6 shelf from the 7 basin floor of the ocean. 84 may cause of the landslide on the ocean. This slide will create wide chasm dale as like Grand Canyon in the US. It aint placed in the surface of the land but at the bottom of the ocean. 85 Scientific Proof In The Qur’an “ Fire Under The Sea” (1) By the mount1 (2) and by the Book Inscribed (3) parchment unrolled (4) and by the Baitul Ma’mur2 (5) and by roof raised high ( ie. ( At-Thur/ the mount :1-8) The explanation According to one of tafsir by Sa’id bin al-Musayyab from Ali bin Abu Tholib that sea water is puddle water, but it always seethed. It is mean that sea water contains heat. That heat is contain fire. And fire resources from volcano which under sea. It is also explain in hadith Prophet Muhammad SAW, “No one should sail on the sea except the one who is going to perform Hajj or ‘Umrah, or the one who is going to fight in Allah’s path for under the sea there is a fire, and under the fire there is a sea.”3 When the Ever-Glorious Qur’an was revealed, the Arabs could not perceive the connotation and the meaning of swearing by the burning sea, for the verb “burn” means to destroy or damage by fire. This has led a number of interpreters to look for another meaning of the verb “Sajjar” instead of “burn”. They were pleased to know that it has another meaning “ to swell up”, as they are know able to interpret the verse saying that Allah has told humanity that He has filled oceans and seas with water and prevented them from overflowing over land. Actually, this honorable hadith tells that in this worldly life, there is a fire under the sea and there is a sea under the fire. 88 Quran, Big Bang and Universe The Expantion of The Universe “It is We Who have built the universe with (Our creative) power, and, verily,it is We Who are steadily expanding it.” ( Ad-Dzariyat, 47) On 1929, Edwin Hubble, an astronomer of America made one of the most important discovery in the history of astronomy. His discovery has changed people’s believes on that time. Previously, people of the world believe that our universe has a constant condition, or philosopher call that as “infinite universe”. On that belief, universe described as something that has been exist since no when. Universe was not created from nothingness. People’s belief can be described as Politzer say in his book: “The universe was not a created object, if it were, then it would have to be created instantaneously by God and brought into existence from nothing. To admit creation, one has to admit, in the first place, the existence of a moment when the universe did not exist, and that something came out of nothingness. This is something to which science can not accede.” 1 But after Edwin Hubble made this discovery, the previous belief of people of the world is getting better. It was on 1929, when he was observing stars with his huge telescope he discovered that their light is shifted towards the reds end of the spectrum and it was directly related to the distance of stars to the earth. Remembering that earth and stars really have a connection, it will be very impressive if that phenomena could be solved. According to the recognize rules of physics, the spectra of light beams travelling towards points of observation tend toward violets, when the spectra of light beams moving away from that point tend towards red. Hubble’s observation showed us that according to this law the stars were moving away from us, the heavenly bodies was moving away from us. 2 It can be provided by fact above. They (the stars) is getting red time after time. It constanly moves as long as time advanced. And before long, he made another important discovery. He found that the stars were constantly racing away each others. Their moving of spectra of light beams describes that their distance is getting longer as universe getting older. Or in another word, they make universe being larger. It is just like a ballon that getting bigger if it was blowed and blowed time after time. 89 universe constantly expands. It was provided by Edwin Hubble’s observation about fact, the moving of spectra of light beams that showed stars moving. The meaning of that verse is Allah was really expands the universe. That verse consist of explanation of the expansion of the universe. Or in another word, Qoran has explained about this concept a long time before science explained it. Science has just found that fact on 19th century, but Quran has explained it about 14 century before science explained and described the expansion of the universe. The word “expands” on that verse showed us about how Allah expands the universe. Then, this kind of discovery led us to another model of astronomic theory. It led us for getting another new concept about universe creation theory. Logically, if the universe is getting bigger as time advanced as provided by Hubble, going back in time meant that it will get smaller and smaller. Or as I said on previous explanation, the universe like a balloon that blowed constantly, and of course that blowing balloon come from small ballon. It means that if one of us can back from time far enough it finally would shrink on one single point, one point that consist of all material in universe. That was very logic mindset. The conclusion that can be derived from this case is at some time all material of our universe was compacted into one single pointmass that had a “zero volume”, because of it’s immense gravitational force. And then, this “zero volume” suddenly blow up. Our universe came from this zero volume as result of an explotion that scientist called as big bang then. The truth of big bang then founded by Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson on several next years. And about The Big Bang, Quran also has an interesting explanation. The Big Bang Theory “Do those who are disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were sewn together and then We unstitched them and that We made from water every living thing? So will they not have faith?” (Surat al-Anbiya': 30) As we have discussed before, the truth of the creation of universe from big bang was provided through an observation by Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson. They make an observation in 1965 to find “cosmic background radiation” through the universe that was an evident of the big bang on past time. The observation about the creation of universe also did by Maurice Bucaille. But there are different between them. If Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson make universe as their object, Maurice Bucaille make Quran as his first source. He described his result of observation on his book, La Bible, Le Couran Et La Science3 . The result is, they find some kind of radiation which is never observed by scientist for a long time. 90 find that, they realize that the radiation is a cosmic background radiation which as the residue of big bang at past time, as the left of the explotion, or in another word as the beginning of universe. Then, on 1989 NASA launch a satelit program to provide the truth of their observation. It only need about eight minute to catch the image of that residue. What people can derived from that photos is the radiation is spread constantly and doesnt has original source. It is appropiate with George Lamov calculation explaining that if there are some radiation in universe, radiation as what big bang left, it must spread constantly through all universe. This kind of fact then provides that the universe was created from nothingness by big explotion called The Big Bang at past time. While the scientists has just found the fact on early twenty century, Quran has same explanation about this process a long time ago, about fifteen century ago. On that verse, there are two important word that explained the process of The Big Bang. There is a very important choice of words in the Arabic word of original. The word ratk translated as sewn to mean “mixed in each, blended” in arabic dictionary. It is used to refers to two different subtances that make up a whole. The phrase we unstiched is verb fatk in Arabic and implies that something comes into being by tearing a part or destroying the structure of ratk. 4 On that verse, sky and earth were described as something mixed, or in another word they were something one. It called ratk in Arabic. Then, they were separated by fatk phenomena by one coming out of other. Intriguingly, cosmologists speak of cosmic egg that consisted all the matter of our universe before the explotion happened. In other word, all heavens and earth were included in this cosmic egg (ratk). This cosmic egg exploded violently causing its matter to fatk and in the process created structure of the whole universe.5 That was a process of big bang. 92 THE DARKNESS OF THE DEEPEST SEA The Qur'an is the source of the teachings and way of life of Muslims first , this holy book occupies a central position in all respects , namely in the development and evolution of knowledge of Islam . Meaning of the Qur'an as a book of a whole era is that it is a book of eternal and not the book for a certain period , or the book for a certain generation , which then expired. 1 The Qur'an contains a variety of things about that is associated with intellect and human conception . Human can develop a scientific idea or knowledge through the Qur'an . Al Qur'an , as believed by all Muslims , is the revelation of God who has awakened people - the arid land of Makkah into a nation that spread light to build a all over the world . Qur'an a driving force that is extraordinary in themselves the salafussalih civilization of the world based on his ethical system. 2 The Qur'an is the everlasting miracle. For reading, the Qur'an invites and inspires readers to summarize and collect objects that are accessible to the senses and of reason. In it, looked alignment, integration, and unity of the elements of faith and thought. The Qur'an does not only test the idea, but also the heart. Readers are required to prepare the Koran of faith and thought simultaneously. And in this miracle of the Qur'an is not only that but there is also the scientific miracles of the Qur'an.3 While the definition of the term scientific miracles of the Qur'an in addition to demonstrating that the Qur'an is a miracle aqliyyah treatise justifying the prophet Muhammad. The main source of the teachings of Islam also contains cues which all proved to be true. A number of scientific facts and news of the future that can not be revealed by the ruler of science and technology of the time, expressed beautifully in its verses. Interestingly, a number of scientific fact recently revealed invitation and technological experiments of the 20th century, it has been expressed accurately in the Qur'an approximately 1400 years ago. This is clear evidence that the Qur'an is not the word of man. 4 And on this occasion , researchers will discuss one of the miracles of the Qur'an that has been proven scientifically and is recognized by the modern era, today's researchers .
