From The President

David W. Williams

It is Autumn again, one of the loveliest times of the year. I hope all of our TWHBEA members
are out enjoying this beautiful time of year astride our wonderful Tennessee Walking Horse.
My days as President are coming to an end, and I want to thank each and every one of you
who has encouraged, participated in, and supported my tenure here. I hope my time here will be
reflected in a positive light. There are many things I feel we have accomplished for the betterment
of our breed and many things we are currently working on to bring the Tennessee Walking Horse
and your association into a modern era of prosperity. I again want to thank all of you for allowing
me to be your president for the past 3 years.
Fall breeding has begun, Fall shows are in full swing, and our trail riders of our great Tennessee
Walking Horse are hitting the woods every weekend during this beautiful weather. Plans for our
TWHBEA Annual Meeting and year-end awards banquet are underway. We have many opportu-
nities to congregate with our fellow Tennessee Walking Horse enthusiasts.
Our breed continues to be one of the top 5 breeds in the United States and the only breed of
horse in that top 5 that showed an increase in horses registered. The Tennessee Walking Horse
breed is alive and well and prospering.
I hope to see you soon on a Tennessee Walking Horse!
As Always, It has been my pleasure to be your President.

David W. Williams
President TWHBEA

Susan Coleman was also rooting for the companion she

they had. “Rodney worked hard every step of the way
