Our Mission and Logo

GFCBW Emblem
Global Federation of Chinese Business Women
1. The emblem of our federation represents the meaning, mission and aim
of the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women that rallies the
most remarkable women from all over the world.

2. The five English letters GFCBW inside the globe stand for the full name
of our Global Federation of Chinese Business Women.

3. The five corollas of plum blossoms indicate five major continents on
which Chinese businesswomen are spread. Those plum blossoms surroun-
ding the globe symbolize the Chinese business women located in
Taiwan, envisioning the world, and generating consensus from a macro
scopic aspect.

4. The latitude and longitude lines on the globe stand for worldwide net-
work, information delivery, and exchange of business opportunities.

5. Not only does the full view of the emblem express our federation's world-
wide scope and embracing of trend, but it also represents the bright and
promising vision of the worldwide Chinese women.

Task

1.We rally global Chinese business Women's in solidarity. We envision the
world, create consensus, contribute wisdom, and look after every
corner of the earth.

2. Through the platform of GFCBW's organization, we actively build up
interpersonal networks, embrace the trend, exchange experience, and
share resources.

3. We actively absorb new information and develop Chinese business-
women's capability of management in the fast-changing environment.

4. We sharpen the global economic competitiveness of Chinese business-
women and promote in every countries' protection on Chinese business-
women's rights and benefits.

5. We promote citizen diplomacy, facilitate exchange of international cul-
ture and business opportunities, and strengthen international coopera-
tion of economy and trade.

Dear Friends,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome the Global Federation of Chinese
Business Women, Southern California Chapter members to the Zoom
Installation and 30 Year Anniversary Celebration.

The Global Federation of Chinese Business Women (GFCBW) is dedicated to providing Chinese
American business women with resources and activities to develop international relationships and
further broaden their professional networks. In doing so, the GFCBW helps Chinese business
women expand their businesses, encouraging them to explore opportunities, share knowledge, and
serve the community through networking and mentoring. The Federation’s commitment has
resulted in the creation of the Southern California Chapter in 1991 and along with 74 chapters
worldwide and growing.

I commend the GFCBW, Southern California Chapter for creating an organization that actively
helps its members achieve their high standards of excellence and integrity. Even during the global
pandemic, the Federation’s efforts under 2020 President Ray Jan have continued to ensure that
members have the resources to provide the best service to their clients, creating an environment
where professionals and the communities they serve are in a mutually beneficial relationship.
On behalf of the United States House of Representatives and the people of the 27th Congressional
District, I offer my congratulations and best wishes for the success of the Global Federation of
Chinese Business Women, Southern California Chapter under the new leadership of Julie Tang,
2021 Incoming President.

Dear Friends:

First and foremost, I hope this note finds you safe and healthy. We are going through an
extremely challenging period, but we will get through it, together.

I congratulate the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women Southern California Chapter’s
30th anniversary. Since its inception, the active business association has grown to more than 70
chapters worldwide, with the dedicated mission of empowering Chinese businesswomen,
sharpening their competitiveness in the rapidly changing environment, and fostering cultural and
business exchange.

During the dire public health crisis, the chapter hosted numerous virtual seminars for its
members regarding the many critical COVID-19 relief programs established in the Coronavirus
Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, such as the Paycheck Protection Program. In addition,
the chapter lent a hand to its surrounding community members by donating personal protective
equipment to first responders, senior care centers, the City of Arcadia, and the City of Duarte.

Coming from an Asian American immigrant family, I am extremely proud of my heritage and I
understand the importance of serving and lifting marginalized communities. The deep-rooted
legacy of the Chinese and Taiwanese American communities reminds us of the proud chapters of
our history, and I am hopeful it will motivate future generations of Chinese and Taiwanese
American business leaders to keep striving for excellence and to remain guardians of the
American Dream.

I am humbled to submit this congratulatory note and I thank the Global Federation of Chinese
Business Women Southern California Chapter for hosting this important event.

I am honored to welcome everyone to the Global
Federation of Chinese Business Women Southern
California Chapter’s installation ceremony. Thank you to
Outgoing President Ray Jan for your service and hard
work, and congratulations to incoming President Julie
Tang!

For 30 years, the Southern California Chapter has served our community, to support
Chinese-American businesswomen, promote cultural and business exchanges, and
provide leadership development and management training for your members.

I know we have faced incredibly difficult and challenging times this year because of
the coronavirus pandemic but I want to thank you for all you have done to support our
community and help those in need during these unprecedented times. From hosting
virtual seminars to keep the community updated about COVID resources, hosting
charity events and donating PPE to our frontline workers and those in need, you have
been a great example of the American spirit and resilience.

It is an honor to serve you in the United States Congress and I look forward to
working with you to be a voice our community and supporting our businesses. Once

I would like to congratulate the Global Federation of Chinese
Business Women Southern California Chapter (GFCBW-SCC)
on celebrating its 30th Year Anniversary!

Since 1991, GFCBW-SCC has striven to promote entrepreneurship, enhance international
business exchange, and build a strong network for Chinese business women. This past
year proved to be challenging for women-owned businesses however, the GFCBW-SCC
continued to support their members and folks impacted by the pandemic.

I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations to the GFCBW-SCC’s outgoing 2020
President, Ray Jan. Your leadership in organizing the donation of Personal Protection
Equipment to local hospitals, healthcare workers, and essential workers is to be
recognized. I also want to congratulate the incoming 2021 President, Julie Tang. I look

欣逢世界華人工商婦女企管協會南加州分會 30 週年慶暨第 22、23
屆交接慶典，瑞琴首先對貴會表達祝賀之意。歷屆會長王憶芳創會長、
余明、甘茹香、丁克鍼、薛淑珍、李柔明、馮玉庭、張淑華、張鄭美蓮、
冉淑綺、劉盧蔭、江美琴、郭秀梅、張綺芳、陳玲華、潘意玲、黃美月、
江瑞瀛等奠定良好基礎。

南加州分會成立至今已 30 年，會姐妹皆是優秀女企業家、凝聚愛
心與熱心積極投身公益，每年除了配合政府推動僑務活動外，舉辦各
種講座，如商業、資訊、科技、健身，2006 年由冉淑綺擔任會長時開
始舉辦金冠獎選拔，每兩年選拔一次金冠獎選拔，分享傑出企業婦女
成功經驗，金冠獎的得獎者即有資格被推薦參選世華總會舉辦的世界
十大傑出華商婦女「華冠獎」，意義非凡。會中人才濟濟，每屆華冠獎
選拔，南加州分會都有得主出線，郭秀梅第十屆副總會長、陳玲華現
任副總會長，兩位都是華冠獎得主菁英領袖，玲華副總會長分擔世華
總會北美洲會務統籌，將北美各分會組織凝聚各會長，使會員向心力
更提升。

2020 年是計劃趕不上變化的一年，現任冉瑞宜會長任內雖有疫情
的關係，但仍排除萬難、急速轉型，成功舉辦多次商業及法規線上講座，
募集善款舉辦多場愛心食物捐贈給主流社會學區，贈予防疫用品給老人
院、警消中心等等，凝聚姐妹們傳承世華取之於社會回饋社會的優良傳
統，在線上舉辦視訊交接典禮，恭喜冉瑞宜會長交出漂亮成績單，光榮
卸任。

薪火相傳代表新方向的延續，我們恭喜新上任唐久麗會長眾望所歸、
任重道遠，唐會長擔任過南加州分會幹部，相信由她的帶領之下，會員
熱誠參與，會務定蒸蒸日上。

世華前身「世界中華工商婦女企管協會」於 1994 年創立於美國舊
金山；為了使本會符合內政部國際社團登記之法規，柯杜經歷波折與種
種困難，在 1997 年更名為「世界華人工商婦女企管協會」並於台灣立
案，成為中華民國唯一總會設址於台灣的國際性組織。

1997 年 11 月 19 日內政部登記設立，並於美國華盛頓 DC 申請登記
世華中英文名稱及會徽專用權註冊。(經國際標準局核准專利商標權)。
1998 年 4 月 28 日於台北來來大飯店舉行成立大會，正式更名為「世界
華人工商婦女企管協會」。大會選舉柯杜瑞琴為第一屆理事長(創會長)。
本會得以成為國際婦女社團。

世華是唯一世界總會設置在中華民國行政院內政部，登記設立的國
際婦女社團，至今邁入歷史 27 年，分會遍布全球三大洋六大洲 75 個分
會，分會仍在持續成長中。歷屆總會長領導團隊，走遍全球各地結合僑
胞企業家成立分會，經各地經文處各級長官協助指導成立，借重資源推
動國民外交，凝聚全球女企業菁英之力量，發揮女性剛柔並濟的優點，
致力成為全球僑商婦女的聯繫網絡和溝通平台，積極協助僑務工作及公
益貢獻，成為臺灣國民外交倚重的新女力。

27 年來的創會過程從篳路籃縷、漸入佳境、到今日的能見度，心中
實感欣慰，能夠創立世界華人這個平台是我畢生的光榮。今天南加州分
會 30 週年慶暨會長交接典禮，瑞琴心中滿是感恩與期許。世華是一個
有質感的組織，它的質感來自於歷屆總會長以及所有世華姊妹們盡心盡
力的奉獻，直至今日，我仍然非常珍惜世華所擁有的資源，並且期盼組
織能夠永續經營、成為全球華商婦女姊妹們最有力的依靠。

因有感於凝聚全球華商婦女人力及提升婦女社會地位的重要性，因
此於 2001 年發想創辦屬於世界華商婦女專屬獎項：世界十大傑出華商
婦女【華冠獎】，藉由全球傑出華商婦女企業主，表揚她們所領導的事業、
家庭、社會等優秀事蹟，並將傑出的成就作為我華人婦女的表率，達到
見賢思齊的正面意義。依評選辦法報名參加，邀請產、官、學、法界的
賢達人士擔任評審，經公開、公平、公正的初審、複審、訪查、決審程
序嚴選出爐，邀請中華民國最高領導人親臨頒獎。歷屆來嚴選出八十多
位傑出華商婦女華冠獎得主並成立「華冠獎得主聯誼會」，她們大多自己
創業，在異鄉奮鬥，永不放棄的精神而有今日的非凡成就。

世華在全球是具有影響力的組織，希望世華姊妹們持續響應公益關
懷弱勢、企業創新交流，尤其近幾年來世華傳愛公益捐獻，拋磚引玉使
社會更關注弱勢，累積了世界各分會姊妹的愛心奉獻響應不斷，世華平
台不只為落實國民外交盡心，也為分享愛而盡力，世華 CEO 書院是世華
另一個里程碑，世華姐妹們可以在零時差視訊 online 成長，資訊學習
無國界。

最後恭喜唐久麗會長眾望所歸、任重道遠，本著世華的宗旨「心懷
世界、掌握脈動、建立網絡、發展經貿」，祝福南加州分會會務昌隆、大
