นวััตกรรม KU สู้้�ภััยโควิิด-19 เป็็นผลงานของ รศ. ดร.เชาว์์ อิินทร์์ประสิิทธิ์� คณบดีีคณะวิิศวกรรมศาสตร์์
กำ�ำ แพงแสน มีีอยู่่�ด้้วยกันั 5 ผลงาน คือื

1) ต้้นแบบห้้องความดัันลบสำ�ำ หรับั คนไข้แ้ พร่่เชื้อ� ทางอากาศ
2) ชุุดหมวกครอบศีีรษะความดัันแบบความดันั บวก
3) รถเข็น็ พร้้อมฝาครอบความดัันลบ
4) ต้้นแบบชุดุ ครอบเตีียงคนไข้้พร้้อมชุุดดููดอากาศ (Hood ครอบเตียี ง) สำ�ำ หรับั เคลื่่อ� นย้า้ ยผู้้�ป่่วย
5) ต้้นแบบเครื่่อ� งกรองเชื้อ� โรคในอากาศในห้้องพักั (Mobile HEPA Filter)

Outstanding Achievements of Pride

The Faculty has a strong background in the innovation of agricultural machinery, postharvest
technology, food processing and machinery, non-destructive techniques for agricultural and food
products, irrigation and water management, as well as the applications of supportive technology such
as computer, information and digital technology, robotics and automation systems, structures and
logistics systems to the development of agriculture. The EEEC serves to conduct the research and
provides social service in the areas of alternative energy and environmental conservation, by focusing
on utilization of wastes and by-product from agriculture, industry and municipality to produce energy
and recycle. The project of electricity generation from landfill biogas under royal initiative may be a
representative of those successful cases. In addition, the Faculty of Engineering at Kamphaeng Saen
also provides various services to private sector, such as testing of construction materials. At latest, the
TDWCB center was established to provide testing of metal frames for windows and doors in buildings
according Thai Industrial Standard.

In addition, as follows are championships won by FE KPS’s student teams:

Banana-leaf-cup (Krathong) Compression Machine

This invention is a research work of Ajarn Nongluck Lekrungruangkit, Head of Energy and
Environmental Engineering Operations Center. It can make from a banana leaf a beautiful, clean, strong
and not leaking Krathong that can be efficiently used as a food container. In addition to banana leaves,
such other materials as banana sheaths, lotus leaves, Burmese sal leaves, etc; can also be used.

Durian Quality Analyzer

It is a measuring machine of durian ripeness or not. It works effectively and efficiently without
damaging the fruit or the pulp of durian with Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) technology, which is
the study result of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ronnarit Rittiron, Head of NIR Laboratory, Department of Food
Engineering. It is small, easy to use, easy to carry, and can be quickly read if durian is ripe or soft and
not fully grown or its pulp isbeautiful or not. More importantly, it can measure so fast that many
durians can be measured at a time.

KU Innovations Fighting against COVID-19

These innovative works which belong to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chao Inprasit, Dean of the Faculty of
Engineering at Kamphaeng Saen are as follows:

1) Negative pressure room prototype for airborne infectious patients.
2) Positive pressure headgear set.
3) Trolley with negative pressure cover.
4) Prototype of patient bed cover with air suction unit (bed-cover Hood) for moving the
patient.
5) Prototype of the air purifier in the room (Mobile HEPA Filter).

พัฒั นาการและความเป็็นมา

คณะศิิลปศาสตร์์และวิิทยาศาสตร์์ กำ�ำ เนิิดจากดำำ�ริิของ ศ. ดร.สุุจิินต์์ จิินายน ซึ่่�งดำำ�รงตำำ�แหน่่งรองอธิิการบดีี
ประจำ�ำ วิิทยาเขตกำ�ำ แพงแสน (ตั้�งแต่่วัันที่่� 1 สิิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2529 ถึึง 9 มิิถุุนายน พ.ศ. 2533 เพื่่�อแก้้ไขปััญหา
การจััดการเรีียนการสอนรายวิิชาพื้้�นฐานที่่�วิิทยาเขตกำำ�แพงแสน ซึ่่�งเดิิมต้้องขอความอนุุเคราะห์์จากคณะวิิชาต่่าง ๆ
ที่่�วิิทยาเขตบางเขน โดยจัดั ตั้�งตามแผนพัฒั นาการศึกึ ษาระดับั อุดุ มศึกึ ษา ฉบับั ที่่� 7 (พ.ศ. 2535 - พ.ศ. 2539) ดำ�ำ เนิินการ
จััดทำ�ำ โครงการจััดตั้�งเสนอมหาวิิทยาลััย ตั้้�งแต่่เดืือนพฤศจิิกายน พ.ศ. 2533 ได้้รัับอนุุมััติิจากทบวงมหาวิิทยาลััย

สิงิ หาคม พ.ศ. 2536 โดยเมื่อ� วันั ที่่� 7 ตุลุ าคม พ.ศ. 2536 มหาวิิทยาลััยเกษตรศาสตร์ ์ มีีคำำ�สั่่ง� มหาวิิทยาลัยั เกษตรศาสตร์ ์
ที่่� 2168/2536 แต่ง่ ตั้ง� รศ. ปริทิ รรศน์์ (กรึกึ ) นฤทุมุ เป็น็ ผู้้�รักษาการในตำ�ำ แหน่ง่ คณบดีคี ณะศิลิ ปศาสตร์แ์ ละวิทิ ยาศาสตร์์

Historical Development

The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science (F LAS) was founded on the vision of Prof. Dr. Sujin
Jinayon, the then KU KPS Vice President (during his office from the August 1, 1986 to June 7, 1990),
under the Seventh National Higher Education Development Plan (1992-1996). The project began in
November, 1990 with approval from the Ministry of University Affairs on the August 6, 1992 onwards.
It gained an approval from the Cabinet on the May 25, 1993 with the second official announcement
from the Ministry of University Affairs on reorganizing KU Administrative Agencies on August 10,
1993 under the Government Gazette volume 110, sec tion 121, on August 31, 1993. On October 7,
1993, Kasetsart University announced the Notification on Appointment No. 2168/1993 in the title of
appointing Assoc. Prof. Paritas (Kruek) Narutum as an acting Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts
and Science. Also, the council of Kasetsart University announced the Notification on Appointment
No. 8/1994 on February 15, 1994 in the title of appointing Assoc. Prof. Paritas Narutum as the dean of
the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science started from February 15, 1994 with 4 years of term of office.
Therefore, the Founder’s Day was on August 31, 1993. Kasetsart University assigned grey colour as

Outstanding Achievements of Pride

1. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerachai Puttawong, a lecturer of Department of Chemistry of F LAS
received an honorary Badge of Chemistry, Biology, Radiology and Nuclear (CBRN Badge) at the
Department of Science of the Royal Thai Army on January 26, 2017.

2. F LAS’s student team won the “Innovation for the Environment in the Aviation Industry”
Award again as the 2nd time of Thai Airways International Competition (TG Travel Green Innovation
No. 2).

3. F LAS’s student team also won an award for the 5th “THM Fair” Tourism and Hotel
Professional Skills Competition.

4. F LAS’s fourth-year-chemistry students won an award for good marks in chemistry of
Thailand and then received the certificate in the 10th Certificate of Chemical Knowledge.

5. In the 18th Asian Games, an F LAS’s athlete won the Gold Medal in Paragliding.
6. Dietary supplement product “Avan Propo Bee” by Assist. Prof. Dr. Prapa Sohsalam
was awarded the gold medal in 2020 Kaohsiung International Invention and Design EXPO (KIDE)
from December 10 - 12 2020 at Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and the winner of innovation competition of
Kasetsart University 2020. The product was approved by the Food and Drug Administration
(No. 13-1-07458-5-0215) and in the process of applying the petty patent (application no. 2103000940).
7. Water hyacinth controlling fungus. Project by Dr. Arm Unartngam was awarded the Gold
research with very high impact at Kasetsart University’s Research Award Ceremony on October 27,
2020.
8. Cultivation of Kratinphiman Mushroom (Phellinus sp.) for Study on Primary Bioactive
Compound Production. Project by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jintana Unartngam, Dr. Arm Unartngam, and
Mr. Pheeradon Phakphiangchan was awarded the Silver Medal in the Higher Education Innovation of
the year 2019 on April 9, 2019.

Historical Development

The Faculty of Education and Development Sciences (F EDS) has started as a part of the
Faculty of Education at Bangkhen. In 1979, (then the Dean of the old Faculty of Education was
Prof. Dr. Boontham Jitanan) the teaching and learning of the third and fourth year students in
Agriculture Education program were relocated to Kamphaeng Saen Campus according to the policy of
KU to develop a new campus. Initially, there were two offices namely the Department of Vocational
Education and the Office of Secretary and the temporary office was located at KPS Library. Then,
Kasetsart University Laboratory School at KPS (Center for Educational Research and Development)
was established in 1980 with Assoc. Prof. Udorn Ratanapuk as the first principal.

KU Council granted full faculty status to F EDS on the 23rd of November 2004 (then the Dean
of the Faculty of Education was Prof. Dr. Panit Khemthong) and then it was named the ‘Faculty of
Education at Kamphaeng Saen’. Later on the 24th of September 2007, the KU Council renamed the
faculty to the ‘Faculty of Education and Development Sciences’.

At present, F EDS consists of six offices: Department of Human and Community Resource
Development, Teacher Education, Physical Education and Sports, Kasetsart University Laboratory
School Center for Educational Research and Development, and the Office of Secretary.

Educational Programs Offered

F EDS offers teaching in 2 bachelor degree programs including Bachelor of Science (Agriculture
and Environmental Education) and Bachelor of Education in 5 majors including Physical and Health
Education, English Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, and Agricultural Education.

At master degree, 3 Master of Education degree programs in Human Resource and Community
Development, Educational Innovation and in Physical Education have been offered.

In addition, at doctoral degree, 3 Doctor of Philosophy degree programs in Human Resource
and Community Development, Science Education and Doctor of Education programs in Physical
Education have been offered.

เพื่่�อเพิ่่�มความรอบรู้้�ของบััณฑิิตทางด้้านปศุุสััตว์์ รวมถึึง จากพระบาทสมเด็็จพระเจ้้าอยู่่�หััว ให้้ถวายงานดููแล
การให้้บริิการรัักษาสััตว์์นอกสถานที่่�ทั้้�งในพื้้�นที่่�จัังหวััด สุุนััขทรงเลี้�ยง ณ วัังไกลกัังวล อำำ�เภอหััวหิิน จัังหวััด
นครปฐม และพื้้�นที่่�ใกล้้เคีียง โดยเฉพาะการจััดการ ประจวบคีีรีีขัันธ์์ ตั้้�งแต่่ปีี พ.ศ.2541 เป็็นต้้นมานั้้�น
ด้้านสุุขภาพระดัับสููงในโคนมและสุุกร และมีีบางส่่วนเป็็น เพื่่�อให้้การถวายงานการดููแลสุุนััขทรงเลี้�ยงเป็็นไปอย่่าง
สัตั ว์ป์ ่า่ และสัตั ว์เ์ ลี้ย� ง ซึ่่ง� ทั้้ง� หมดมีกี ารดำำ�เนินิ การที่่ม� ีคี ุณุ ภาพ มีีประสิิทธิิภาพ และเพื่่�อให้้เกิิดประโยชน์์ต่่อประชาชน
ได้้มาตรฐานที่่�มีีการใช้้อุุปกรณ์์และเครื่่�องมืือที่่�ทัันสมััย ผู้�เลี้�ยงสััตว์์ในพื้้�นที่่�ภาคใต้้ตอนบน มหาวิิทยาลััย
และพร้อ้ มในการให้้บริกิ ารในภาคสนาม เกษตรศาสตร์์ จึึงจััดตั้ �งโรงพยาบาลสััตว์์มหาวิิทยาลััย
เกษตรศาสตร์์ หััวหิินขึ้�น บนพื้้�นที่่�ประมาณ 102 ไร่่
โรงพยาบาลสััตว์์มหาวิิทยาลััยเกษตรศาสตร์์ บริิเวณหาดสวนสน ที่่�ได้้รัับการสนัับสนุุนจากกองทััพบก
กำำ�แพงแสน ดำำ�เนินิ การมาแล้้วกว่่า 25 ปีี โดยเป็็นแหล่่ง มีภี ารกิจิ หลักั ในด้า้ นการให้บ้ ริกิ ารทางวิชิ าการแก่ป่ ระชาชน

โคนม โรงพยาบาลสััตว์์แห่่งนี้้� ตั้้�งอยู่�ในซอยบ้้านหนองรี ี ด้า้ นสััตว์ป์ ่่วยใน ด้า้ นสััตว์์ป่่วยหนัักและฉุุกเฉินิ รวมถึงึ การ
หมู่่� 8 ตำ�ำ บลบ้้านเลืือก อำ�ำ เภอโพธาราม จัังหวััดราชบุุรีี ให้้บริิการรัักษาและจััดการสุุขภาพในปศุุสััตว์์ และสััตว์์ป่่า

Historical Development

Educational Programs Offered

At present, students from year 4 to 6 must come to study at KU KPS where F VM, KPS have
departments to support teaching, research and academic services to students and nearby communities
in the central and western regions including other communities across the country.

Currently, educational programs offered by F VM, KPS are including Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine, (D.V.M); Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees in Animal Health and Biomedical Sciences, in
Veterinary Epidemiology, in Veterinary Clinical Studies and Bio - veterinary Science (International

Outstanding Achievements of Pride

By the mission of the veterinary team Kamphaeng Saen Campus, personnel and students
under the leadership of the management have created many valuable innovations to the veterinary
community as follows:

1. Precise autopsy of animal diseases such as the hypothesis of avian influenza. African horse
cholera for the first time in Thailand.

2. Development of vaccines against animal diseases in pigs such as PRRS, PED, streptococcus
in pigs and fish, Inclusion body Hepatitis in chickens.

3. Counseling on rearing, treatment and prevention of disease in domestic animals, livestock
and wildlife, for example, Kasetsart Pig Doctor Program (Pig LIVE Kasetsart Programme), Chilled
Elephant Semen Project Frozen and artificial insemination in Thai elephants (chilled and frozen semen
and artificial insemination in Thai elephant) project to reduce costs and improve dairy efficiency in
a practical and effective way (cost reduction and improve efficiency in raising dairy cows with good
management practice in reality) and the world’s first surgery to correct gallstones in elephants.

พัฒั นาการและความเป็น็ มา

คณะประมง มหาวิิทยาลัยั เกษตรศาสตร์์ วิิทยาเขตกำ�ำ แพงแสน ริิเริ่�มจััดตั้�งขึ้�นในปี ี พ.ศ. 2522 พร้้อมกัับการ
จัดั ตั้�งวิิทยาเขตกำำ�แพงแสน มีีพื้้�นที่่�ประมาณ 100 ไร่่ ทางทิิศตะวัันออกเฉียี งเหนือื ของวิิทยาเขต ในระยะแรกไม่ส่ ามารถ
เปิิดดำำ�เนิินการได้้เนื่่�องจากขาดแคลนน้ำ�ำ� ประกอบกัับพื้้�นที่่�เป็็นดิินเค็็มจััด ต่่อมาทางมหาวิิทยาลััยได้้จััดให้้มีีระบบ
ชลประทาน เพื่่�อนำำ�น้ำ�ำ�จืืดเข้้ามาสนัับสนุุนการดำำ�เนิินกิิจกรรมการเรีียนการสอน และงานวิิจััยของวิิทยาเขต จนถึึงปีี
พ.ศ. 2533 วิิทยาเขต ได้้มีีหนัังสืือสอบถามมาทางคณะประมงเพื่่�อให้้เข้้ามาดำ�ำ เนิินกิิจกรรมที่่�วิิทยาเขตกำำ�แพงแสน
ทางคณะประมงซึ่�งมีี ศ. สุุภาพ มงคลประสิิทธิ์� เป็็นคณบดีีในขณะนั้้�น ได้้มอบหมายให้้ภาควิิชาเพาะเลี้�ยงสััตว์์น้ำ��ำ ซึ่่�งมีี
รศ. ดร.ยนต์์ มุุสิิก เป็็นหััวหน้้าภาควิิชา ประสานกัับทางวิิทยาเขต จนถึึงวัันที่่� 17 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2534 จึึงจััดตั้�ง
“สถานปฏิิบััติิการเพาะเลี้�ยงสััตว์์น้ำ�ำ�กำ�ำ แพงแสน” สัังกััดภาควิิชาเพาะเลี้�ยงสััตว์์น้ำ�ำ� โดยมีีวััตถุุประสงค์์เพื่่�อเป็็นสถานี ี
ฝึึกงานทางด้้านการประมงน้ำ��ำ จืืดของนิิสิิตคณะประมง และบริิการวิิชาการด้้านประมงแก่่เกษตรกรและผู้้�สนใจ
ที่่�อาศััยอยู่�ในเขตพื้้�นที่่�ภาคตะวัันตก ต่่อมาได้้เปลี่�ยนชื่�อเป็็น “สถานีีวิิจััยประมงกำ�ำ แพงแสน” เมื่�อวัันที่่� 1 ตุุลาคม
พ.ศ. 2544 และย้้ายมาสัังกััดศููนย์์บริิหารงานวิิจััยและสนัับสนุุนวิิชาการตามการปรัับโครงสร้้างของคณะประมง

Historical Development

Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus with area of 100 rai
(39.52 acre) at the northeast of KU KPS was established simultaneously with KU KPS in 1979. However,
there was no activity at the beginning due to no water supply and high salinity of soil. The university
managed to construct irrigation system to support more activities of the campus. Until 1990, the then
Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries (Prof. Supap Mongkolprasit) asked head of Aquaculture Department
(Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yont Musig) to coordinate with KU KPS to create fisheries relevant activities. Later
Freshwater Aquaculture Operation Center under the Aquaculture Department was then established
in 17 May 1991 with objectives to be an internship venue for students of the Faculty of Fisheries
and to disseminate fisheries knowledge to farmers especially those who living in the western areas
of the country.

Later the Freshwater Aquaculture Operation Center was renamed as Kamphaengsaen Fisheries
Research Station on October 1, 2001 and moved to be under the Research Management
Academic Supports Center on August 3, 2018 onwards.

Educational Programs Offered

An educational program offered by the Faculty of Fisheries at the Kamphaeng Saen Fisheries
Research Station is Bachelor of Science (Fisheries) in Aquaculture which has begun learning and in-
struction of its 1st year students since academic year 2001.

ตามมาตรา 25 ของพระราชบััญญััติิมหาวิิทยาลััยเกษตรศาสตร์์ พ.ศ. 2541 กำำ�หนดไว้ว้ ่่า “ในวิิทยาเขตหนึ่่�ง
ให้้มีีสำ�ำ นัักงานวิิทยาเขต โดยมีีรองอธิิการบดีีคนหนึ่่�ง เป็็นผู้้�บัังคัับบััญชารัับผิิดชอบของวิิทยาเขตนั้้�น แทนอธิิการบดีี
ตามที่่ไ� ด้ร้ ับั มอบหมาย......” วิทิ ยาเขตกำ�ำ แพงแสนจึงึ ขอเสนอจัดั ตั้ง� สำ�ำ นักั งานวิทิ ยาเขตกำำ�แพงแสน และสภามหาวิทิ ยาลัยั
เกษตรศาสตร์์ ในการประชุุมครั้้�งที่่� 1/2545 เมื่�อวัันที่่� 28 มกราคม 2545 มีีมติิอนุุมััติิให้้จััดตั้�งสำ�ำ นัักงานวิิทยาเขต
กำำ�แพงแสน ตั้้�งแต่่วันั ที่่� 12 กุมุ ภาพัันธ์ ์ พ.ศ. 2545 เป็น็ ต้้นมา เพื่่�อทำำ�หน้า้ ที่่�เป็็นหน่่วยประสานงานกลางในการบริหิ าร
และการจััดการด้้านการเรีียนการสอน มีีการแบ่่งส่่วนราชการ ออกเป็็น 2 กอง คืือ กองธุุรการ (กำำ�แพงแสน) และ
กองบริกิ ารการศึึกษา (กำำ�แพงแสน)

การปรัับโครงสร้า้ งบริหิ ารสำำ�นัักงานวิิทยาเขตกำำ�แพงแสน

ตั้�งแต่่จััดตั้�งกองธุุรการ (กำำ�แพงแสน) และกองบริิการการศึึกษา (กำำ�แพงแสน) จนถึึงปััจจุุบััน มหาวิิทยาลััย
เกษตรศาสตร์์ วิิทยาเขตกำ�ำ แพงแสน มีีการขยายและปรัับภาระงานเพิ่่�มมากขึ้�น จึึงมีีความจำำ�เป็็นที่่�จะต้้องมีีการปรัับ
โครงสร้า้ งการบริหิ ารงานของสำำ�นักั งานวิิทยาเขต ดังั นี้้�

1. วัันที่�่ 23 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2547 แบ่่งส่่วนราชการภายในสำำ�นักั งานวิทิ ยาเขตกำำ�แพงแสนเพิ่่ม� เติมิ ประกอบ
ด้้วย กองธุุรการ (กำ�ำ แพงแสน) กองบริกิ ารการศึึกษา (กำ�ำ แพงแสน) และจััดตั้้�งศููนย์ก์ ีีฬา กำ�ำ แพงแสน

2. วันั ที่�่ 6 มิิถุนุ ายน พ.ศ. 2548 แบ่ง่ ส่่วนราชการภายในสำำ�นัักงานวิิทยาเขตกำำ�แพงแสน จัดั ตั้�งกองกิิจการ
นิสิ ิิต (กำำ�แพงแสน) และกองอาคารสถานที่่แ� ละยานพาหนะ

3. วันั ที่่� 21 ตุลุ าคม พ.ศ. 2552 ยกฐานะงานเทคโนโลยีสี ารสนเทศ ในสังั กัดั กองบริกิ ารการศึกึ ษา (กำ�ำ แพงแสน)
เป็น็ “ศูนู ย์ส์ ารสนเทศ มหาวิทิ ยาลัยั เกษตรศาสตร์์ วิทิ ยาเขตกำำ�แพงแสน” มีสี ถานภาพเทียี บเท่า่ กอง สำ�ำ นักั งานวิทิ ยาเขต
กำ�ำ แพงแสน

4. วัันที่�่ 30 ธัันวาคม พ.ศ. 2552 จััดตั้�งศููนย์์หนัังสืือมหาวิิทยาลััยเกษตรศาสตร์์ วิิทยาเขตกำ�ำ แพงแสน

Establishment of Kamphaeng Saen Campus Office (KPS CO)

According to the Kasetsart University Council announcement, Kamphaeng Saen Campus was
officially the first campus of KU in compliance with the KU Act B.E. 2541 (1998). Later, following KU
Council meeting no; 1/ 2002, dated January 28, 2002; KPS CO was officially founded from February
12, 2002 onwards by virtue of Section 25 of the KU Act B.E. 2541 (1998) and consisted of the General
Administrative Affairs Division (Kamphaeng Saen), or GAAD KPS and the Educational Services Division
(Kamphaeng Saen), or ESD KPS.

The KPS CO Restructuring

Since the establishment in 2002, the KPS CO has been restructured and / or improved
following the resolutions by the KU Council meetings for seven times so far as follows:

1. Restructuring on April 23, 2004 : The Sports Unit under the Student Affairs and Welfare
Services Subdivision in the ESD KPS was officially upgraded as Sports Center for Kamphaeng Saen
(SC KPS) equivalent to a new division under the KPS CO.

2. Restructuring on June 6, 2005 : Two new divisions consisting of Student Affairs Division
(Kamphaeng Saen), or SAD KPS which was upgraded from The Student Affairs and Welfare Services
Subdivision in the ESD KPS and Building, Place & Vehicle Services Division (Kamphaeng Saen) were
added under the KPS CO.

3. Restructuring on October 21, 2009 : The Information Technology Subdivision in the
ESD KPS was officially upgraded as Information Technology Center for Kamphaeng Saen (ITC KPS)
equivalent to a new division under the KPS CO.

4. Restructuring on December 30, 2009 : The KU KPS Book Center was officially included under
Properties and Benefits Subdivision in the GAAD KPS without any official status and internal structure.

5. Restructuring on August 10, 2011 : The specialized Research and Development
Center for Agricultural Product Standards was also officially included under the KPS CO without
any official status and internal structure to support the KU KPS in the cooperation of research and
development of agricultural product standards with the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity
and Food Standards (ACFS).

6. Restructuring on October 10, 2014 : The KPS CO formerly consisting of four divisions and
two centers, was restructured to contain four divisions : General Administration Division (renamed
from the GAAD KPS), Academic and Student Administration Division (renamed from the ESD KPS),
Research Administration and Academic Services Division, and Central Services Division.

7. Restructuring on December 25, 2019 (the Present) : The KPS CO consisting of four
divisions was restructured to contain six divisions : General Administration Division, Educational
Administration Division, Research Administration and Academic Services Division, Central Services
Division, Student Affairs Administration Division, and Properties Administration Division. Thus, two last
divisions were upgraded from a subdivision in the General Administration Division and the Academic
and Student Administration Division respectively.

1. The KPS CO won the “KU-KM BEST PRACTICE AWARDS” and “KU-KM MART AWARDS”

research poster presentation in humanities and social sciences in the National Research Conference

Outstanding Achievements of Pride

The ETO KPS has continuously developed its operations through well accepted and
integrated creation of links and networks among many different departments. Its works, that are
generally accepted, are such as the Farmer’s Children School Project, the Agricultural Extension
collaboratively conducted with the Agricultural Extension Association of Thailand, the Vocational
Training Program for People, the Youth Promotion and Development Project, those collaborative
projects between the Public and Private Sectors, and other International Training Programs, etc.

Thus, it has created a large number of benefits for communities, society and the nation in

อาคารหอสมุุดหลัังแรกก่่อสร้้างโดยใช้้เงิินกู้� สำำ�นักั หอสมุดุ บางเขนด้้วย
ธนาคารโลก ใช้เ้ วลาก่อ่ สร้า้ ง 1 ปี ี มีพี ื้้�นที่่ใ� ช้ส้ อย 2,739.92 เมื่�อเริ่�มเปิิดบริิการมีีบุุคลากร 6 คน ประกอบ
ตารางเมตร เอกสารสิ่�งพิิมพ์์ของห้้องสมุุดเน้้นด้้าน ด้้วยบรรณารัักษ์์ 2 คน เจ้้าหน้้าที่่� 2 คน (ยืืมตััวจาก
การเกษตรและสาขาที่่เ� กี่ย� วข้อ้ งจัดั ซื้อ้� ด้ว้ ยเงินิ กู้�ธนาคารโลก คณะวิศิ วกรรมศาสตร์์ 1 คน) นักั การภารโรง 2 คน และ
ในระยะแรกมีีหนัังสืือประมาณ 7,000 เล่่ม วารสาร นิิสิิตช่่วยงานห้้องสมุุด 5 คน มีีที่่�นั่่�งอ่่านหนัังสืือประมาณ
ประมาณ 300 รายการ พิิจารณาคััดเลืือกโดย ผศ.ดรุณุ า 500 ที่่น�ั่่ง� ให้บ้ ริกิ ารผู้�ใช้ป้ ระมาณวันั ละ 400 คน เปิดิ บริกิ าร
