My Life’s
Intentions
Setting intentions and creating conscious goals is a very powerful
practice. When we take the time to consciously reflect on our lives,
what we most desire we start to pay attention to what is important
to us, it creates space in our mind for new possibilities. The very
willingness to go through the process itself is insightful and revealing.
It shows us what our hearts truly desire and how we may want to go
about it in a conscious way.
As you go through this process, remember not to hold yourself too
tightly to your intentions and goals, rather let them be beacons of
light that shine your way and show you that in this vast multitude of
choices you are purposefully choosing a direction.
Reflect on the last 12 months.
What are some things I intended, that happened:
Any suprises that you didn’t intend, but were supportive:
What are some things that I wish would have happened or that I planned and
then did not happen:

Supportive Weekly
Routine
A practical way to keep you on target
You may have some idea about what you want to accomplish in life.
You may even have listed your intentions and goals. However following
through in the day to day can be challenging. This entire journal helps
you do that. This specific section helps you create your own weekly
routine.
Design your weekly routine
In the template for the week provided below, add time blocks, or days
when you will be working on certain things. Think of this as a way
of consciously designing time into your week to allow for things you
want. Let the items below serve as a guide as you develop your own
routine.
* Special Project days/evenings * Cooking Days
* Classes, workout times, daily practices * Groceries & laundry days
* Family, friends & relationship time * Leisure time, nature time, open time
* Weekly reflection time * Try something new day
Note: Think of this exercise as a way to define structure but use it in a way that
balances flow and structure. Try not to pack too much into your week, keep it
relatively open. Pay more attention to things you tend to miss. E.g., It could be
friends time. Or working on a special project. Maybe set a day or afternoon aside for
such activities.

Conquering
Fears & Blocks
Deep dive into my fears, blocks & negative patterns.
Fears, blocks and challenging situations hold something very
important in them. They are the keys to our growth. They challenge
us to find our edges and move beyond them. In this section we will
first identify some of our fears, blocks etc and then take a deeper
look at a few. On the flip side, if we fail to honor them, they have a
tendency of ruling our lives. Some patterns can harmonize quickly
while others can be a lifetime of work, therefore being patient is a
wise approach.
Step 1: Identifying our major mental blocks that
are keeping you from enjoying a richer life.
Use the section below to identify some of your major challenges,
indulgences, emotional blocks etc or copy items from the fears and
blocks list in the reminders section. Use the bullets below for guidance
in identifying your patterns.
* Fears * Addictions * Challenging Situations
* Emotional blocks * Indulgences
* Negative Habits * Destructive Patterns

Step 2: For each pattern use the following set of PADA: A JOURNAL FOR LIVING A FULFILLING LIFE | 281
questions to get a deeper insight into them.
Use the following pages to tackle patterns one at a time. Quick tip:
try starting small with only a couple patterns. This is hard work and
difficult to take on all at once!

What specific actions/behaviours define this pattern?
How specifically is this habit not serving (harming) you?
Most patterns disconnect us from the present moment.
Can you identify how this pattern maybe disconnecting you?
Many patterns tend to cover an underlying, unaddressed fear.
Can you identify that fear?
All patterns, even negative ones, have a benefit they provide.
See if you can identify this benefit.
How will you know when this pattern has been harmonized (be specific)?
How are youproposing to work with this patternand harmonize it?
Below are ideas that may provide insight.
