Embodying relational love to strengthen us
Relationships, especially close ones, can be deeply grounding, a real
shelter and potentially highly transformative. They also tend to reveal
deep insecurities and patterns in us. Taking the time and effort to
strengthen them is a true act of Love.
A healthy way of implementing this in your intimate relationships is to
create regular check in times, ideally biweekly or monthly. The process
is to be done together and takes about 30 minutes.
Step 1: Start with yes/no questions...
Take turns asking your partner these questions and discuss any
“no” or “maybe” responses.

important in them. They are the keys to our growth. They
challenge us to find our edges and move beyond them.
Use this list to write them down.When you find time, take a

Gratitude
Gratitude is a feeling of well being and peace that can also be
developed through practice. When practiced over time, this feeling
becomes stronger making our lives more fulfilling.
In the beginning as you practice, you may not feel gratitude, however
over time when practiced genuinely and with interest, the feeling of
gratitude takes hold in the mind.
Make a list of moments where you felt gratitude in the space
provided below. Use this list as a reference when practicing gratitude.
Remember you can always add new moments to this list.
How to Practice Tips
Give yourself about 3 min for this Remember the story around the
practice every time you do it. moment, thing. Make it warm and
inviting instead of an abstract concept.
Think of one of the moments/friends/
teachers/life events in your life where Focus on just one thing instead of a list
you felt love, compassion or gratitude.
To help generate the feeling perhaps try

Jotting it down and reflecting on it later is of tremendous value.
