OUR MISSION

The mission of BISHOP MOORE
CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL
is to provide the highest quality,
affordable secondary education
based upon the Gospel message
and Roman Catholic teachings.
This is accomplished in a Christ-
centered environment stressing
academic excellence, spiritual
growth, personal integrity, community
involvement, athletic development,
and cultural appreciation.

Everyone can discover who it is God created them to be! I love the genuine conversations,
the constant acts of service, the support of one another...ultimately, I love the fact that it’s

BUILDING MOORE OUR MESSAGE

At Bishop Moore Catholic High School, we are responsible to those who have come before us
and to future generations. We strive to find new ways to embrace the responsibility of continual
improvement. The entire Bishop Moore Catholic family, working together, can achieve this vision.

Thomas Doyle Founded in 1954 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, our mission is lived out daily as
President we stand in awe of all Bishop Moore Catholic has accomplished. We have a family of 14,500+
alumni, our graduates are accepted to the most prestigious colleges and universities in the
Scott Brogan country, and our alumni leaders have found vocations in the fields of business, sports, government,
Principal academia, non-profit management, religion, and the military.

We stand on the foundation of our faith to reach our accomplishments. Just as Jesus performed the
miracle of the multiplication of the fishes and the loaves, the work we do to build our faith, community,
and success at Bishop Moore Catholic multiplies into our communities and our world.

As we embark on this campaign to provide for the future of our school, we are confident of our
success because our case for support is strong, our need is real, our plan is smart, our goals are
attainable, and, most importantly, we believe in our mission.

Obtaining our goals requires each of us to look into our hearts and to reflect on those who have
gone before us. To a great extent, it is through Bishop Moore Catholic that our faith grows, our
Church strengthens, and the future brightens.

We invite you to prayerfully consider your commitment to journey virtus
with us as we embark on our campaign of BUILDING MOORE. et

BUILDING MOORE OUR CASE FOR SUPPORT

The first graduating class of then Bishop Moore High School consisted of 27 students. They were led by a faculty of nine which was comprised of
one priest and five religious sisters. The only two varsity sports were football and basketball. The only student organizations on campus were the
Student Court, Student Councilors, Glee Club, Annual Staff, Paper Staff, Pep Club, and Band.

Since that time, over 14,750 students have graduated from and walked the campus of Bishop Moore Catholic. The graduating class of 2018
totaled 287 young men and women. Our students now have the opportunity to compete in 29 varsity sports. They also participate in over 65 clubs,
student organizations, and honor societies. In the last five years alone student enrollment has increased nearly 30% to more than 1,450 students.

Over this same time, the faculty and staff on campus has grown to 150 individuals, including a robust Campus Ministry team. This team conducted
over 40 spiritual retreats last year for our sports teams, art department, young men, young women, faculty, staff, and discernment groups. We
offered 65+ school-wide service projects in the form of collection drives, mission trips, Catholic Relief Services, Bishop Grady Villas, and countless
other service organizations in the community.

For the past three years, we have hosted an Alumni Reception behind the end zone during Homecoming Weekend in which between 200 and
300 alumni have attended. Additionally, numerous Alumni classes have chosen the campus as the location to host their beloved reunion gatherings.

We are now faced with a challenge to expand the campus to accommodate the growth in enrollment and an increased alumni presence, and to
prepare for future students, all while providing the best educational opportunities. The Moore Center for Excellence will assist us in doing just that.

• Three state-of-the-art multi-functional classrooms to provide relief to our existing facilities.

• A multi-sport fitness center that allows our students to stay on campus and engage in a healthy lifestyle.

• A spiritual space, in which the Campus Ministry team can conduct retreats, as well as, offer opportunities for students
to encounter Christ and grow in relationship with Him.

• A reception hall, with a fully-equipped catering kitchen that can host events for alumni, students, parents, and donors.

Join us in investing in the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of our children in the Christ-centered environment of Bishop Moore
Catholic. For sixty-four years, BMC has been providing Catholic education for the young men and women of Central Florida. This powerful legacy has
positioned us to embark on this $5 million phase of the capital campaign BUILDING MOORE: THE MOORE CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE.

We cannot do this alone. We need you. Your tax-deductible gift will help us make the Moore Center for Excellence a reality!
