Career and Reason
The career I picked to research is called Computer Information Research Scientist. I like working
with technology then I saw this career so I randomly select this career. This career is really
interesting has a lot to do. You work using tools and method to help solve problems. It also have
a good salary.

History of Career
Before modern discipline of computer science emerged in the 20​th​ century it was hinted in the
centuries prior. The progression from mechanical inventions and mathematical theories toward
modern computer concept and machines. It led to a major academic field and the basis of a
massive worldwide industry. As time pass things change and this career help changing it.

Duties of this career
Computer information research scientist invent and design new approaches to computing
technology and find innovation for existing technology. They study and solve complex problems
in computing for business, medicine, science, and other field. They study robots, program
computers and does data science. Most computer information research scientists work full time.

About 3 in 10 worked more than 40 hours per a week. There really nothing strange about this
people try to do how much they feel like working.

Qualifications and field
Most computer and information research scientists need a master's degree in computer science or
related field such as computer engineering but a bachelor's degree is good enough. A master's
degree usually required 2 to 3 years of study after earning a bachelor’s degree in computer
related field, such as computer science or information system. Important things to have are
analytical skills, communications skill, critical thinking skills, detail oriented, ingenuity, logical
thinking, and math skills. I plan to take math and science classes in able to get me prepare for the
career im going to do in the future.
The field I will explore is information system, computer science or other field I never heard of.
There places I can work at like a data scientist or a research scientist. I can search for jobs at
website like glass door or CareerBuilder. There are a lot of resource that can help me find a job.
Recommendation will be like certain skill and your personality.

This job give you a certain amount of salary depending on your years of experience. The highest
salary you can get is around $169,680 a year and it’s a pretty good salary that what make this job
good. The lowest salary you can get is around $64,950. From my point of view this is a really
good salary with a salary like that I will buy so many things.

Reflection
I’m going to say that this this is a really good career. I wouldn’t mind having this career it’s a
interesting type. There mainly two reason why I would want this career the salary is good and I

get to work with technology since I wanted to be an engineer. In the future I may not do this
career since I have other plans but this can be my backup in case I fail.
