The Anthony R. Abraham Foundation is
humbled and honored to have had the
opportunity to support, Her Majesty Queen
Sylvia of Sweden and her World Childhood
Foundation at this year's gala event in New
York. Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden was
Patron of the First World Congress against
Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children
when a girl stood up and shared her personal
experience of sexual abuse.

"My concern for children who are
abused, who are suffering and in difficulty was
deepened when, in connection with that
Congress, I realized the magnitude of the
problems involved. I then decided to become
personally involved," said Queen Silvia.

Her Majesty founded World Childhood

Foundation in 1999 together with 14 family

foundations, private individuals and companies Queen Silvia Of Sweden
that all shared her vision. Since then, the & Thomas Abraham

organization has grown to support children who

are victims of abuse and sexual exploitation, street children, children in alternative care and families at risk in

more than 100 programs annually in 17 countries. More than 1000 projects have received nearly $80 million

from Childhood's offices in Sweden, Brazil, Germany, and the USA.




In 2015, Childhood USA's application to the United Nations Committee on Non-Governmental

Organizations of the Department of Public Information (UN NGO DPI) was accepted, allowing Childhood to

more easily work with the UN to drive change for children on an international scale.

Their mission

Every child has the right to a safe and secure childhood filled with happiness. Everyone has the right
to grow up and develop socially and intellectually. But many children are deprived of these most fundamental
rights. They are neglected, abandoned, abused and violated in unacceptable ways. They never have a chance
to live a fulfilling life.

Childhood USA's mission is to defend the rights of the child and to promote better living conditions
for vulnerable and exploited children at risk all over the world. We fight to give children the opportunity to
develop into strong, secure and responsible human beings.

What They Do

Childhood USA acts as a liaison between donors and community-based organizations and is currently supporting
over 100 projects in 17 countries.

We identify, review and support existing projects, as well as, new
initiatives and efforts that are aligned with the Childhood mission;
to defend the rights of children and to promote better living
conditions for vulnerable and exploited children at risk all over the
world. Our target groups are children who are victims of abuse,
street children, children in alternative care and families at

The Anthony R. Abraham Foundation, Mission is to Love,
Honor, Respect and Empower the Lives of the Suffering, Hopeless
and Forgotten. I want to extend my sincerest thanks to International
Pop Artist Romero Britto for introducing us to Queen Silvia and this
amazing organization.

What better mission is there than to defend the rights of

defenseless children who are vulnerable and exploited and at high

celebrate the courage and fortitude of The World Childhood

Foundation and Queen Silvia for taking a stand to speak out and

take action in front of the whole world at the United Nations to proclaim that every Defensive-less Child should

have the right to be defended against these inhumane atrocities committed against them.

We celebrate and commend Her Majesty Queen Sylvia and the World Childhood Foundation
for their dedication and commitment to bringing about change throughout the world so that her
