A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT
Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As we enter into this 94th Annual Session let us "Celebrate the Past and Embrace the
Future.” Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and
forevermore.” The Lord has been good to us over the years, and He is still blessing us
because “His mercy endures through all generations.”
All Glory and Honor belongs to God for allowing us to accomplish what we have in spite
of the challenges we faced over this past year. We’ve had numerous virtual and in-
person services such as:
• Quarterly Sessions
• Annual Revival
• Ministry Meetings and Services
• Churchwide Institute
We have also been able to continue and expand our support for home and foreign
missions’ projects.
I pray that you are able to join us as we continue to celebrate God's goodness over
these 94 years at our banquet on Friday, June 24, 2022. We will honor this great
Convention’s six living presidents for their visions and leadership, as well, as others who
are still faithfully serving.
The National Baptist Convention of America, International, Inc. President, Reverend
Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr., our keynote preacher, will join us to share in praise and thanks
to God for the work He has done and will continue to do through the ministry of our
Convention.
I appreciate the support of the Convention Cabinet, Pastors, First Ladies, Ministry
Leaders, Ministries, and Members. I also want to thank my wife and my Second Antioch
family for their continuous prayers, encouragement and assistance.
I thank God for the opportunity to serve Him as your President, and I love each one of
you with “Jesus Joy,” I like to say with “JJ!”
