Greetings from the Host, Puritan Lady Lillian Hunt

I extend joyful greetings to each of you attending the 1st Annual
Purity Ball Honoring the Purity Class of 2022.

We first give Honor to God for without Him, none of this would
be. Thank you for taking time out of your day and busy
schedule to help celebrate the dopest group of young people
that are doing some amazing things in the community. Your
decision to attend this affair sends a very much needed
message to the Puritans, and that is YOU CARE!

As we promote a standard of excellence with biblical principles,
and high expectations of holiness, we also take this time to
celebrate academic achievements while building up our
Puritans self esteem and confidence. We continue to instill in
our Puritans the value of holiness and righteousness as we
groom them to be the future leaders of our churches and
communities.

There are so many other things our Puritans could be doing
right now, but they have chosen a rode of dignity and service,
and that deserves to be recognized. As we crown a Mr. and
Miss Purity for the first time under my tenure, I must say this
has truly been and exciting time. I look forward to next year
being even bigger and better.

I have done as best as I could to show your children that they
are love by me and care strongly for them. I pray that I
continue to impact every child I encounter stressing the
importance of having a prayer life, to continue praying, and
when done praying… pray some more.

Thank you, parents, thank you Pastors, thank you EVERYONE,
especially MY Husband who allows me to do everything that I
do thank you thank you!!! And as always, keep me in your
prayers, and let Purity Reign.

beloved Purity Department Founder the late
Mother C.J. Johnson ensured our commitment to

build Holy excellence in the next generation.
She had a vision to create an organization designed
to preserve our Christian Youth and it was at that

time Purity Class actualized.
Overseen by the Church of God in Christ
Department of Women; our aim has been to focus on
children ages 12 to 19: establishing the true
values of good morals, high standards of living
and etiquette, while discouraging all forms of vile
behavior that violates true Godly virtue.

Community Service: I work in my local church assisting the purity department with
outreach events!
Extracurricular Activities: Who needs extracurricular activities, when you have church!
Purity Accomplishments: I have been able to help give food to the homeless. We also pray
on the Purity Prayer Line Every Month!
Service In My Local Church: I sing on the Praise Team and in the choir, but I am also a
servant in the Usher’s Department.

prayer, feeding of the homeless outreach event, and youth service I can be a part of.

me to get people what they need, especially those who have difficulties doing for themselves!

out into the Community with Feed My Sheep Outreach Ministry!

Extracurricular Activities: I am in the Black Student Union, I am on the step team, I have
gotten a Black Student Achievement award, I got an award for participating in my school's
Music Department for the last 2 years playing the violin.
Purity Accomplishments: I have gone out to give hygiene bags to the homeless with other
Puritans. I get on the purity prayer line every month, and I have participated in purity classes
and activities.
Service In My Local Church: I serve as Puritan, I participate in Youth Department plays and
events. I also serve on the Hospitality Unit and play the Violin in the Music Department!

Kayla Stanton | AGE 15 | Sacred Lamb –

cheer on my peers to succeed and showing
enthusiasm during the church services!”

Purity Accomplishments: I participate in the Outreach Events to feed the homeless.

Purity Accomplishments: Praying on the Purity Prayer Line EVERY opportunity I get and
going out into the Community with my church’s Outreach Team!

Service In My Local Church: I am a Puritan, so of course I am a Puritan, and serve in my
local youth department activities.

Keiarra Baker | AGE 19 | Trumpet In Zion –

“I am known for praise dancing, allowing
God to use me through that ministry. You’ll
also find me eager to cheer on my peers to
succeed and showing enthusiasm during the
church services!”

Community Service: I volunteer at a home for adults with disabilities.
Extracurricular Activities: I volunteer at a home for adults with disabilities.

Purity Accomplishments: Purity revivals, prayer sessions, and community feedings. I love
volunteering in our outreach events, my favorites are the back-to-school giveaway, Christmas
giveaway and Thanksgiving box giveaway. I take advantage of the community programs at my
host church in Virginia.

Service In My Local Church: I serve on the Usher’s Department, Media Team, Praise Dance
Team (as captain), and of course I AM A PURITAN!
Testimonial: A retiring teacher from my graduating High school reached out, and said I was
one of her favorite students, with a beautiful success story!

Kennedi Hunt | AGE 18 | Trumpet In Zion –

Future Career: Civil Engineer/Mathematics
“I spearhead The Media Department; I am
known As The Church Videographer!”
Purity Teacher: Sister Briana Fobbs
School Achievements: At The Poly Institute Engineering Symposium: My partner and I
researched for over six months how to provide a better way for teens to gain protein and
nutrients.

Extracurricular Activities: Interned for a tech company for a head start on my career
goals. On occasion, you may find me sketching. My sister Katelynn and I also started a
business called Lillies Corner© where we sell ALL NATURAL beauty products.

Purity Accomplishments: Right before the pandemic, I was able to join the other
puritans at Trumpet in Zion and serve those who were hungry at Our Daily Bread.

Service In My Local Church: Serving on the Media team which has broadened my
horizons when it comes to knowledge & skills in the tech world experimenting and
discovering different streaming platforms. I am also a Youth Sunday School teacher,
teaching the children ages (<6-8) and from time to time lead the Sunshine Band.

Book Club where students gather and discuss the book interests we have, and what
the books we have read mean to us!

Purity Accomplishments: Volunteering with feeding the homeless. God loves all his

Community Service: I coordinate the back-to-school initiatives at my church!
Extracurricular Activities: I ran for Student Council President and Won. I also started a school
prayer group.
Purity Accomplishments: I have been able to help give food to the homeless, and I had the
opportunity to do the opening prayer for the national woman’s convention during the purity
segment in 2019! The Lord has also used me on occasion to preach the word of God to other
youth that need to be encouraged to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
Service In My Local Church: I sing on the Praise Team and play the Organ and/or Keyboard. I
design some of the flyers and I keep my church’s social media up-to-date.
