Realtor Spotlight, Tara Lam, Licensed REALTOR® Source 1 Realty.

When we say Tara grew up in the Real Estate business, we really mean it. Tara’s Dad’s
property management business office was right in the family home through out her
childhood and there were clients coming and going on a daily basis.

It was all started by Tara’s Grandfather, John Muzzy who was licensed as a Realtor /
Broker and Mortgage Broker in 1972 and continued in the business until 2000 with his
own brokerage called Accord Mortgage which was also based out of his busy house
right on Dunmore Road.

Tara’s Dad, John Patterson, was licensed as a Realtor and Mortgage Broker in 1979
and continued in the business until 2022 with his own brokerage, managing up to 500
tenants at one time.
Tara’s Husband, Chad Lam was licensed as a Realtor in property management in
2000 and worked in property management until 2014.
Tara began working in the family business as an assistant in property management
by helping look after apartments and tenants in the mid 80’s. In 2013 she became
licensed in real estate sales and moved away from property management.

Additionally Tara has a very natural eye for design. She has a large inventory of
furniture and trendy household staging items that she will use to restyle your
home to increase it’s appeal. This is a service that Tara & Marty offer with every
listing.

Realtor Spotlight, Marty Mayer, Licensed REALTOR®

Marty started out in the real estate business as a landlord 32 years ago
when he bought and rented out his first property. It was a really simple two
bed, one bath 600 square foot home and as the property portfolio grew

it became very important to become skilled and experienced enough to
keep it all running and renovated.

Over the past 30 years Marty earned two Alberta Journeyman Trade
Certificates and a lot of valuable experience in other trades for
residential construction and renovations. All of this knowledge
and experience has finally proven to be very valuable when
advising a client to prep a property for sale. Most properties will
be professionally inspected and it’s best to deal with concerns
in advance of the inspection. Also, as a buyer, you are buying a

physical property and its good to have a knowledgeable guide
with you every time you look at a property and before you pay for
expensive inspections.

When Marty has spare time, he can be found working in his shop restoring collectible cars.
