WIN Publishing was established in 1991 by John and TJ Klein as a Hillsdale County
and owned by WIN Publishing business. John and TJ have resided in Hillsdale County since 1985 and have raised 3
children here.
Beginning in 1993, WIN Publishing began publishing the Community Plus+
Magazine. The Community Plus+ Magazine was published with the philosophy on
bringing good news to the county on a monthly basis.
The Community Plus+ was published until 2000 when WIN Publishing decided to
publish a county-wide phone directory. Starting in 2011 our county-wide directory
name was updated to The Greater Hillsdale County Phone Directory.
The marketing team of Cindy and Al Eckhardt, long-time Hillsdale residents, has
handled advertising sales in previous publications and will continue to do so in the
future directories.
WIN Publishing will continue to publish an annual county-wide phone directory as
in the past 12 years and will continue to work hard to be recognizable as the #1 phone
directory in Hillsdale County. Our website, www.hillsdaledirectory.com provides
complete access to the information found in our directory.
WIN Publishing continues to operate with the philosophy that integrity is the most
important attribute a company or an individual can posess. With integrity, all other
attributes fall into place.
Times change rapidly. Ten years ago the most advanced mobile phones around had
walkie-talkie features and we thought that was fantastic. Now with smart phones we

teens. now we have an average of over a 150 teens students throughout the
every weekend. we are so grateful to the business and country, but mostly in
individual who have supported us so far. thank you from Hillsdale county with

Here are some of the reasons why.
1. You don’t have a phone. Pretty obvious on that one.
2. You don’t have a home phone, but do have a mobile phone. we do not acquire
phone numbers from cellular carriers so your mobile number is not listed in our
directory. we would be happy to list your mobile number by request.
3. You have a home phone line, but are not using one of the major phone companies.
we buy the listings from Frontier, att, centurytel, waldron and comcast. if you are
not using one of these carriers, and you have not requested to us that your number
be listed, the odds are that you are not in the book. the exchanges we cover are
listed on the first page of the white Page Section.

we understand the use of home phone lines is decreasing. (which is why directories
get thinner every year.) we are trying to make it easy to get your alternative phone
number listed in the Greater Hillsdale county Phone directory. it does not matter if it’s
through a cable company, voice over iP or other alternate method. if it’s your phone
