What is Antimicrobial Fabric?

Antimicrobial fabric helps destroy or inhibit the growth of microorganisms, and
especially pathogenic microorganisms including bacteria and viruses. Antimicrobial
products are common in medical facilities and are used in textiles to prevent bacteria
and other organisms from attaching to the fabric surface where microorganisms could
otherwise live and grow.

Similar to antibacterial soaps and disinfectants, antimicrobial fabrics help reduce the
spread of disease as they have been coated with an antimicrobial layer.
