2 About HCA Healthcare

Letter from Jim Brown, CEO

HCA North Cypress Team:

Effective August 22, Troy Sarver, BSN, MHA, will transition from his role as Chief Nursing Officer into a new role as Vice
President of Surgical Services covering both HCA North Cypress and HCA Gulf Coast Division. In this role, Troy will split
his time between oversight and support of the hospital’s OR, Pre-Op, PACU, Pre-Anesthesia Testing, Endoscopy, and
HOPD and OR-related projects assigned by our division. It is anticipated that Troy will spend at least half of his time
on-site at HCA North Cypress. This transition affords both us and our division to leverage Troy’s unique expertise and
experience in surgical services.

Troy has served as CNO at HCA North Cypress since acquisition in September of 2018. During his tenure, we’ve made
significant improvements in our clinical quality agenda, elevated nursing engagement, expanded our staffed beds and
IMU capacity, grown surgical services and added additional service lines and capabilities, grown emergency services
and improved our relationships with area EMS providers, and embraced HCA’s StaRN initiative with approximately 70

new graduate nurses on-boarded to-date. Troy also successfully lead our clinical team through two years of intense pressures created by the
COVID-19 pandemic and a catastrophic winter storm in 2021. Because of Troy’s leadership in staffing effectiveness, we have seldom had to close
capacity and been amongst the best-staffed hospitals in the region amidst a generational pandemic.

On August 15, Krystal Doyle, MSN, will begin her tenure as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at HCA North Cypress.

Krystal joins the hospital from HCA Gulf Coast Division where she served as Vice President of Nursing Operations and Analytics. Krystal has worked
with our division’s nursing leadership team since 2019. Her prior hospital experience includes HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, UT M.D.
Andersen Cancer Center, St. David’s Medical Center (HCA) in Austin, and Houston Methodist San Jacinto. She began her career as an Emergency
Department nurse. Krystal holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Baylor University. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
from University of Texas Medical Branch and her Master’s of Science in Nursing with specialization in Nursing Informatics from The University of
South Alabama. She is actively pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Krystal and her family reside in Cypress.

Letter from Kelli Nations, GCD CNO

Greetings,

Welcome to July! I don’t know about you, but time is undoubtedly moving quickly. I hope you had a wonderful
holiday and had a chance to spend time with friends and family.

Our future is bright! We are back to in-person leadership development and clinical excellence classes, and our nurse 4
turnover has decreased by more than 100%. Our nurse engagement was the highest in the company; a testament to
our nursing workforce’s commitment to our patients and the work we do collectively as a team. Give yourselves a
round of applause!

As we enter the third quarter of the year, I’m glad to share a significant update; we have hired almost 900 nurses thus far! That’s a huge
accomplishment as we continue to progress with our turnover reduction, which has been cut in half since the start of the year. We’re even starting
to see experienced nurses returning back into the workforce. It truly warms my heart to see this positive turnaround. We also currently have 75
international nurses with us today and we are continuing to actively recruit. I want to recognize our Rio and Valley team for partnering last month
and hosting a successful nurse recruitment event at Texas State Technical College. They had 16 nursing students (LVNs and RNs) inquire about
future job opportunities. Ten LVN offers and four RN offers were made that day. Awesome work team! NEW Nursing Campaign - This month you’ll
start to notice some familiar faces on our billboards as our division reintroduced our “Care. That’s why we’re here.” campaign back into our Houston
market. The key messages in this campaign focus on three important components: Purpose, Scale, and Skill. This truly is a great reminder of our
commitment to giving people a healthier tomorrow.

Letter from Wes Wesson, VP of Operations

Team,

We are making changes to our parking and valet hours starting Monday, August 15th. These changes are to
better serve you, our patients, and facility visitors.

The employee shuttle will run Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from
6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The shuttle will pick employees up at the front and back parking stops in the blue employee parking lot and
drop off at the employee entrance at the back of the hospital.

During shift changes and peak hours, you can expect to see the shuttles every 15 minutes at either the
employee entrance or at the (2) parking stops.

The shuttles will no longer pick employees up at their individual parking spots. The courtesy golf cart will run 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
and will pick employees up at the main hospital entrance and designated POB2 waiting zone.

We are also designating parking spaces in the front of the hospital as valet only to better accommodate our patients and visitors. This
will minimalize the wait time to get their vehicles. We are designating 13 front row parking spots for ED visitors and 14 front row
parking spots for outpatient services out-front of the main campus radiology waiting room.

We ask that the North Cypress team continue to park in their designated parking areas to ensure that we have parking for our
patients and visitors.

ANNOUCEMENT

Please join me in congratulating David in his new role as Case Manager for HCA
North Cypress effective Monday, August 1st.

David was born and raised in Houston, Texas and received his ADN from Lonestar
College in CyFair. He then went on to achieve his Bachelors in Nursing from the
University of Texas at Arlington. After graduating, David accepted the position as a
StaRN at HCA West where after only 6 months, he became their charge nurse. After
2 years as a charge nurse, David was promoted to assistant nurse manager. David
decided to grow in his nursing leadership role and became board certified in
medical surgical nursing. Shortly after, HCA North Cypress requested to have David
join our team to help charge MS5. After joining the HCA North Cypress team, David
was quickly promoted to MS5’s nursing manager position where he has led the team
to many great successes. We are so grateful for the time, passion, and leadership
David has provided to his team on MS5 and our campus and general.

He will be greatly missed, but we are so excited for him to take on this new role in our
Case Management department. Case Management has always been a passion for
David. He is very detail oriented and he enjoys getting to plan for safe discharges
and assisting patients with their next steps.

STELLAR SHOUT-OUTS TO THESE EMPLOYEES!
HCA North Cypress Team Members!

HCA North Cypress – Great Teamwork!

Ms. Butler, Mr. Sarver and Mr. Brown,

First off I would like to express my gratitude for my family’s experience with HCA, N. Cypress for the care of our loved one last year.
We reached out to Brenda/ ICU nursing director due our family member being so critically ill and the path to treatment being complicated. Brenda ,nursing staff, Drs delivered
for my sister/ family in ways we could not have imagined. The outcome looked grave and our family decided that as long as she was being given a chance to be treated we
would do our parts and leave the outcome up to God. Brenda, nursing staff, Drs were kind , invested, supportive, assisting in setting up meetings with team member, allowing
my wonderful huge family access to visit/ sit with Tyana. Once they understood our needs we could not have asked for better care. Her neurosurgeon had a complicated job but
his clear upfront communication was necessary for us to work towards a common goal and we are eternally grateful. I understand the difficulties that exist when staff is trying
to care for patients and their family members, but I know it can be done if we have the personal/ professional commitment. That’ is what my sister, as well as her immediate
family, extended family experienced the consistency of great care.

We received a positive outcome and my sister is continuing to thrive at this time. Her condition was grave and it would have been difficult if we would have lost her.
But if one is receiving the best communication, treatment/care with the warmest support - we will do better with our process if their is a poor clinical outcome. Especially if a
family has unhealed medical trauma from the past. I want to thank Brenda, who checked on my family several times a day throughput the hospitalization to make sure visiting
family were doing ok and intervening whenever necessary. We will never forget. We transferred to multiple floors throughout the hospital and my sister’s standard of care did
not decline. Everything was not perfect and we understand this, but as soon as a concern was posed things were corrected without incident. We know that staff was busy many
times, but we worked with them in a harmonious fashion. Thank you Brenda and all the staff that I did not name individually ( because I wrote them down last year and have
forgotten where I laid my notes).

Lastly , I reached out to Brenda when I learned another family member has been hospitalized and she responded quickly and spoke with me about her( with HIPPA compliance
of course ). Hospitalizations are very stressful as you know, so I am helping my family navigate through her care at this time.
