introduction
Everyone recognises & appreciates good design & colour schemes that work. Colours are forces radiant
energies that affect us positively or negatively whether we are aware of it or not. Colour is emotive, intuitive,
and personal. We live in a colourful world. You only have to look at nature to see this . We have evolved to feel
comfortable surrounded by many colours. This is evident with our love of natural sunshine , which
contains the full spectrum of colour vibrations, making us feel good, both mentally & physically.
The study and application of colour psychology provide successful solutions to some extremely complex
spaces and personality differences.
Fashion professional design teams create ranges that will continue to enhance and support personal style.
Quick changes to decor will impact how people feel, affecting personal performance and profit.
We are mostly urban dewellers, living the majority of our lives inside man-made environments, whether that's
at home, work, school, in our cars , buses, trains, gyms and theatres. Everything in these spaces has been
designed and the colours selected for us.
Interior designers have an incredible social responsibility as they can often directly influence millions of
people's lives every single day by the colour choices they make .

a-inspiration
Last couple of years, many of us were left unsettled by global events, so we closed our doors
to retreat and regroup. Now we feel ready to throw open our windows and face the world
again. Our trend research shows that people around are experiencing a renewed sense of
energy, optimism and purpose. There’s a desire to reach out, engage with others, to make things
better and ‘be the change’.
our candy palette was inspired from a
mix between the 50’s and the 80’ as in the
50’s the palette was pretty in pastels
.they used the color’s tints which was inspired from Louis the 16th
that proves our point that history repeats itself. on the other hand
the 80’s palette was 8-Bit Wonderand ,the colors were pure . so we’ve
made our palette darker than pastels but still lighter.

conclusion
Changing the urban patterned life isn’t easy but it sure is important for the future. Aren’t we all redesigning
things for ourselves and exploring new ways to enjoy life or to just stay positive.
We as design thinkers have thousands of years of knowledge with so many assumptions how a design should or
shouldn’t work, especially with the industrial mindset but the pandemic COVID19 had made us realize that we
don’t want design to satisfy our current lifestyle, but we need to look for ways to prevent our current
lifestyle become a necessary problem to address. A designer needs to be a curator rather than just a creator.
It is important especially today to think deeply into what is design and what design can do to transform the
future?
