Empower • Engage • Connect PARENT UNIVERSITY

The mission of Parent University is to empower, engage and connect Fresno Unified families to support
student achievement. This initiative strives to sustain engagement of families by providing opportunities
for families to establish effective partnerships with teachers, support staff and site administrators. Parent
University empowers families by providing learning opportunities to support their children and become their

resources that meet the needs of our students and families.

Parent University is based upon four strands of parent learning opportunities: Parent Education, FUSD 101,

nities and what it takes to transition successfully from elementary to secondary and become a career-ready

beverage.

Nutrition Program: Feeding Young Children
