The story of the Alamo is known all over the world. But the
structure where the infamous battle took place was actually
built roughly 130 years earlier as the Mission of San Francisco
de Solano. Today, the building still stands as a museum and
shrine to the amazing men who gave their lives back in 1836.
It also can be rented as an events venue for dinner
receptions, business meetings, or personal soirees. The
grounds and facilities are beautiful and well maintained and
event planners can talk event strategy with an on-site events
coordinator. If you're looking for a location that really taps
into the essence of the city, the Alamo just might be your
best bet.

The Majestic Theater

The Majestic Theatre was brought to life in 1929 by the famed
architect, John Eberson. Designed in the Spanish
Mediterranean style, the theatre has stood the test of time

Spanish Governor’s Palace

In the early 18th century, Spain and France quarreled over a
territory that is now part of the Southwestern United States. To
help protect the land they claimed as their own, the Spanish
King, Philip V, ordered a presidio to be built. Over the next
200 or so years, the building served many purposes but
eventually fell into disarray. The property was eventually
purchased by the city of San Antonio, restored, and named
the Spanish Governor's Palace. Today, it serves as a museum
and an event venue. If you host your next get-together at
this location, you'll be able to work with a facility coordinator
and your guests will enjoy beautiful grounds and convenient
parking.

can be held in the Pearl Stable, which housed draft horses in
the 1800s but has since been renovated to accommodate
business meetings, social gatherings, and weddings. Pearl

The museum's collection encompasses more than 50,000
items related to the assassination, the legacy of his
presidency, and 1960s culture. Artifacts include original
documents and manuscripts, photographs, audiovisual
recordings, newspapers, magazines, and more. The Sixth
Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is open Monday from noon to
6 p.m. and Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission is charged. Discounted admission is available for
groups, as are private event rentals for up to 290 people.
