Project Brief

feelingz is an uprising secret artist coming out of BDRM Records, a
record label founded and managed by Michaela “Mickey” Shiloh in
Los Angeles, CA.

Her first track, Don’t Talk, was already declared Staff Pick of the Week
by BeatStars in January 2019. She is also featured on several tracks by
BDRM Records, listed for sale on their BeatStars profile.

Among the producers whom feelingz is working with, the most notable
are Shawn “Source” Jarett, producer for French Montana and Juicy J,
and Nick Joy aka “100 Million Did That”, founder of 237 Music Group.



Concept

The logo has been created through merging individual cut-out letters
of a thick serif typeface into a modern classy logotype. The artist’s name
was stylized with a lowercase f.

By using a dark, unsaturated color scheme along with the timeless
logotype, feelingz has her visual identity aligned with the emotions
transmitted by her music.



Typography

Typeface: Clarendon BT
Weight: Black
Category: Serif
Benjamin Fox was a type designer and punch cutter for the Fann Street
Foundry. It is generally believed that Fox based the Clarendon design on

Aaa popular serif text typeface of the time – and “simply” made it bolder.
The Clarendon BT family was designed for large textual advertising and
a diversity of display content, coming out as a careful revival of the
original 18th century design.



Chromatics

The color palette for feelingz blends a solid coated Pantone gray with a
linear, bicolor gradient, positioned at precisely 38°.
