Altrincham Festival is celebrating its forty Trafford Community News
fifth anniversary with two fun filled days at
the Timperley Showground. Both days will
have the John Collins Fun Fair, stalls, a
great selection of food, licensed bar area,
dog show, and a car boot on the Sunday,
and more.

The Altrincham Festival started in 1977
as part of the queen’s silver jubilee
celebrations and will be celebrating HM
The Queens Platinum Jubilee this year
There will be the Grand Parade on
Saturday from Altrincham to Timperley.
The parade will leave St Margaret’s road
Altrincham at 11am, it will then make its
way down the downs, and on to Stamford
New Road, this will be around 11.10.
The parade will then turn onto the
Stockport Road Flyover, and pass The Old
Hall at approximately 11.30.
We expect to turn at The Hare and Hounds
around 11.45 and to arrive in Timperley
Village for noon.
The parade will finish at our showground
around 12.30.
The times are for guidance only and are
very approximate and will be subject to
change.
