is Batik. Batik is a local garment made from
silk and embellished with floral motifs. It is
deeply rooted in Malay culture. There are
two types of Batik, namely hand blocks and
hand drawn. Both of these Batiks are
available at Natural Batik Village.

Natural Batik Village is located near Balok Canting
beach, Kuantan. You will love the ambience.
This place guarantees full satisfaction if you
are a person who loves arts, this place is
worth the visit. Natural Batik Village is open
daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, it is
recommended to visit this place during off
peak season.

They offer Batik weaving, drawing and colouring activities at an
affordable price. You can weave batik according to your own taste

and creativity with a reasonable charge of fee too.

Their activities are varied and well-
organised. The staffs will give introduction
and teach about Batik painting. It is only
RM 10 to have first hand experience at Batik
drawing and colouring. After you dyed
the batik, it needs to dry for at least 20
minutes. Once the batik is dry, you can take
it back home.

While waiting for the batik to dry, you
can go to the gallery to buy the
souvenirs. The gallery is well stocked with
wallet, hand fans, shirt, ties, key chains
and handicrafts. It is highly
recommended to buy souvenirs in the
gallery because its products have quality
and has a wide selection to choose from.
