Chloe Moss, the Chester-based jewellery designer
behind the highly successful ChloBo range, gives us an
insight into her life and work

Can you tell us a little bit about It was travel that first inspired

I have lived in Chester all of my life and My round the world trip in 2003 was one
love it here. Not only is Chester a beautiful big adventure! Starting in New York and
city but we are just a stone’s throw from finishing in Thailand, I got to see so many
Liverpool, Manchester and easily amazing places and meet lots of weird and

part of my life and I spend a lot time away the people in Fiji, it really did open my

Yes definitely. As soon as I began I just Elle Macpherson, Cheryl Cole, Kelly

so flattering to open a magazine and see a

Summer 2014 I especially drew on the

Milan. I also think what Victoria Beckham
has done by totally changing her image,
becoming such a credible fashion designer
and building an amazing global brand in
such a short period of time, is totally
inspiring.

Can you tell us a little bit about your
latest collection (Let’s Dance)?
The Let’s Dance collection was influenced
by beach holidays with my friends, lazy
days by the sea, long summer nights and
dancing under the stars. There are lots of
vibrant colors, new charms and I am really
excited about the introduction of Rose
Gold for the first time.

Would you be interested in any
design collaborations?
I collaborated a couple of years ago with
Olivia Rubin. Her collection that season
was all about bold prints so I made charms
to fit. It was so much fun and I would love
to do something like that again.

Do you plan to go into any other
kinds of design?
ChloBo looks great on the beach so a
bikini line would be ideal – one day! For
the time being though I am focusing all of
my energy on my jewellery and expanding
our collections into more boutiques and
stores nationwide.

Where would you like
to be in 10 years time?
I hope to still be designing ChloBo
Jewellery and would ultimately like to see
the brand sold internationally. I currently
have stockists in Barbados and Ibiza but
want ChloBo to take over the world!
