Equivalency Class 1 MELT consists of a
number of different components that

commercial drivers in accordance with
the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration’s National Safety Code.

classroom instruction and 40 hours of
hands-on training in a motor vehicle,

3Q license is 16. The maximum age to

permit.
