that period and I expect us to continue doing so tonight.

We have had three away games in a row since our 2-1 win over
Gresley, so it is good for our team to play at home for once,
although we fully believe in our ability to win regardless of whether
we are at home or away.

After we lost to Stocksbridge two Saturdays ago, we got back to
winning ways with a win over Wisbech in the League Cup, a very
pleasing result considering the very long trek we had to make on a
Tuesday night.

It was disappointing to bow out of the FA Cup on Saturday after we
were narrowly beaten by Kettering, a very good side who are top of
their league in a division above us, but we are very proud of the
boys’ efforts and we came very close to snatching a replay at the
last minute. We wish we could have progressed further, but we
cannot complain about the result and we have taken plenty of
positives from that game.

Just two points separate our two sides tonight, so we most
certainly expect a tight and competitive game with Belper. We
will have done very well if we come away with three points, but
we are confident in our abilities and know that we can get a
positive result tonight.

Regardless of the result, I hope that all those from Belper have
a safe journey home after the game.

Enjoy the game and thank you for your support.
