Rudy’s Thoughts

Good evening and welcome to all associated with

Gresley FC.

This game comes hot on the heels of Sunday’s great FA
Cup win against Stourport Swifts. Stourport were a big
well organised side and it took some time to break them
down. Even though they went in front we all believed we
could win the game and we were a little more clinical in

the 2nd half than the 1st.

Our reward is a trip to Evo-Stik Premier Division leaders
Kettering Town. Kettering have not lost a game or
dropped a point so far this season, so it will be a stern test

for us.

We will approach that game as we do all others in a
professional manner and look to progress.

Tonight it is back to league action and our opponents, “both sides will

We may need to shuffle the pack a little tonight, but
whoever comes in will know what is required of them.

Thank you all for your support, enjoy the
game and have a safe journey home.

response to a tough outing as the Bulls came from

Stourport Swifts 2-1 in the FA Cup First Qualifying
Round, thanks to two crucial goals from forwards

Lynton Karkach and Brad Wells.

Assistant manager Mark Ward believed that
frustration caused problems for the heavily fancied

The hosts controlled the game for the opening
