The Giraffe & The Owl

Once upon a time, there was a giraffe
lived in the forest. The giraffe looked up into
the sky and saw an owl flying around happily
.He was jealous of the owl because it could
fly free. “It would be nice if I had wings like
him.”said the giraffe. Then, the giraffe went
to the owl’s nest to met him. “Hello Mr Owl.
How are you”? Said the giraffe to the
owl.“I’m fine, thank you.”said the owl.“Why
are you here giraffe?”asked owl.



The giraffe said how he could get the
wings to fly like him. He really want it. Then,
the owl said that he couldn’t get the wings.
The giraffe was disappointed because didn’t
get the wings. Then, the giraffe think for a
while and he want something else. “I want fur
like you Mr. Owl, it look very beautiful, ”said the
giraffe. “You already have a beautiful spot on
your body, you don’t need fur like me.”said the
owl. The giraffe returned to his home with
sadness.



“The grass is always greener on
the other side of hill.”

Meaning: people tend to want whatever they don’t have
