Taiyo is a couch inspired by the circle of the Japan flag and by Kirigami, the paper
folding and cutting art. It has a metal structure and a red leather seat with circular
cuts.

make-up of a Geisha, in traditional but modern way.

On the forefront there are the Butoon sofabed and
the Marigasa lamp, inspired by the typical bamboo
Japanese umbrella. In the background, instead, the-
re’s the Wabi Sabi painting, displaying the contrast
between the noise of rain and the tranquillity of the
pond.

The Sakura wallpaper, representing a stylised cherry tree,
realised with the chemigram technique, i.e. by using
atmospheric agents on photographical paper.
