ABOUT US
THE TOMBALL BOBCATS AMATEUR FOOTBALL CLUB IS AN INCORPORATED 501 (C) (3) NON-PROFIT
organization that focuses on providing young adult athletes and other members of the community
the opportunity to participate in organized competitive football events. We exist to facilitate sporting
opportunities for our members and general public of our community.
Our members are comprised of young adult athletes, and our organization is driven mainly by the
efforts of our volunteer coaches and administrative staff. We are funded primarily by our members, but
also receive support from select sponsors and donors which assist in the administration, training, and
additional opportunities to give back to those we support, like our local youth sports programs among
others.
We are dedicated to generating a high community fan base by producing great exposure for the city
of Tomball within the league, community outreach and support, and producing a fun, clean, enjoyable
game atmosphere.
OUR HISTORY
2014 - Tomball Bobcats inaugural season. Season record ended 1-9, but as a first year team they were
gaining ground and building for the next year.
2015 - Build they did. By starting off the season with 7 straight wins and only losing two games through-
out, they ran head strong into the post season! The first appearance in the playoffs began with a 49-0
against the Austin City Cowboys. The Bobcats would advance to Round 2 where they would face the
Texas Colts, the third time that season, but would not prevail. With a Season 2 record of 7-3 the Bobcats
look to carry that momentum into season three.
2016 - Season 3 was another successful run into the post season. With a season record of 8-2, the Tom-
ball Bobcats toppled area rival, Texas Crusaders to advance into Round 2 where they would meet the
Texas Xtreme of Austin, TX. The Xtreme held on preventing the season for the Bobcats.
2017 - This season the team experienced a good amount of injuries that contributed considerably to
the Bobcats less than average output with a season record ended below .500 at 3-7. This would pre-
vent to the Bobcats from finding the post-season.
2018 - The Bobcats bounced back with a vengence having a great season record of 7-3, but would ulti-
mately fail to overcome the second round post season hurdle.

FROM THE
OFFICE TO
THE FIELD
Football is more than a sport to the men
that play the game. It’s a community of
like-minded individuals that share in not
only their passion and appreciation for
the sport, but in the camaraderie and
accountability that comes with the chal-
lenge of stepping on the field. More than
that, it’s a way to bring families together
and share in the past-time of competiton,
good food, good company, and a break
from the every-day. The Tomball Bob-
cats are proud to bring that opportunity
to the Tomball commuinty and the many
lives that are impacted and benefitted
from the opportunity it brings.
OUR
VISION
“ Semi-pro Football “
“IT’S ABOUT THE JOURNEY--MINE AND YOURS--AND THE LIVES WE CAN TOUCH, THE LEGACY WE CAN
LEAVE, AND THE WORLD WE CAN CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.”
― TONY DUNGY
To realize any vision requires a strong foundation for it to develop. The product of any sports organization is the
benefit of its supporters; be they members, fans or sponsors. We believe the ability to generate that success is
through the support and commitment of our volunteer administration and coaches along active participation
from our members, fans and sponsors.
To succeed off the field, we continually seek opportunities for community involvement that exemplify the Tom-
ball Bobcats organization and their supporters. To succeed on the field, we’ll focus recruiting efforts on players
not only for talent, but for character and values – They are what makes this team great!

ACTIVITY
TIMELINE
45 OFF-SEASON
Days The off-season is time for reflection and rest. With regular seasons lasting
anywhere from ten to fourteen weeks, both the physical and mental as-
pect of playing this game can take its toll on a player. It certainly isn’t much
but for any seasoned player it can seem like an eternity.
DaYBEST OF THE BEST
This is it! off-season is over and it’s time to get back on the field. The kick- 1
off event is generally a “tryout” of sorts, but recent events have focused
more on league-wide invititations to participate in what we like to coin the
Tomball Bobcats BEST OF THE BEST Football Challenge.
170
Days
125 PRE-SEASON
Days
Following up on the season kick-off event, the organization publishes a
preseason schedule that outlines all the team activities which includes play-
er-led OTAs (other team activites), coach lead OTAs, preseason and exhibition
games. There are generally about four games played before regulation.
SEASON BEGINS 23
With the pre-season gitters taken care of it’s time to get serious. The league FEB
season generally begins the final weekend in February following completion
of Spring football activites. Regular season activites include ten regular season
games, six playoff games leading to the Super Bowl, and a league All-Star game.
