Who’s Who

KYLE DeLAP (Stage Manager) is a day care provider. Kyle has been involved in many produc-
tions both onstage and backstage. He enjoys camping, movies, reading, and hanging out with his

“Happy Fifth Anniversary, Sunshine!”

DONALD DeWALT* (Leading Man/Claude Upson) is a Laidlaw human service bus driver and is

their patience and support.

VICKI ELWOOD (Vera Charles) has worked in theatre all of her life, beginning with community

people to do all these things on and off stage.

and Guys and Dolls. Sean has appeared at LCT in multiple roles in Epic Proportions and won an
award for excellence in acting as George in the award-winning The Women of Lockerbie. He loves
the notion that, in this digital era, people can grab some scenic paint and some duct tape and put on
a show, and thousands of people will flock to it. He thanks his wife, Robin, for her love and sup-
port.

singing, dancing, and show choir. Other theatre credits include roles in The Little Mermaid and The

in Anything Goes and has choreographed many productions since 1993, one of her favorites being
State Fair. She enjoys making jewelry, reading, watching tv, and dancing (of course!). She likes
meeting new people who share the same interest in the theatre’s sense of community and family.
She thanks her parents and grandparents, who gave her the opportunity to take “so many dance
classes,” and Preston, who has supported her in all her theatre and dance endeavors for the past
three years.

bachelor’s degree in music education from Northern State University. While there, she discovered
her passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she relocated to Lincoln, Neb., to study
costume design. She received her MFA in costume design in May 2005 and has been freelance
designing and teaching. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska,
and Wisconsin. Mandy would like to thank her husband, Greg, for relocating his life to La Crosse.
His support is a true blessing and one of the reasons she loves him so much.

ADAM RATHGABER (Peter Dennis), a seventh-grade student at Lincoln Middle School, has
played at LCT as Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as Chester in Lilly’s Purple Plastic
Purse, and as the young Josh in Big, The Musical. He also played Winthrop in The Music Man

being in theatre, playing saxophone and piano, playing sports and on the computer, and hanging
with friends. Other theatre credits include roles in Aquinas High School’s Wisconsin and Daisy
#2 in Alice in Wonderland (Viterbo). At LCT she was in the choir for Birds of Peace and played a

of the National Honor Society, and teaches Sunday school. Other theatre credits include Mrs. Lynde
in Anne of Green Gables (Maranatha BBC) and a role in The Music Man (Appleseed Community
Theatre). At LCT Sonny played Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors. She believes that LCT is “quality
people putting on quality productions. What more can you ask for in theatre?” She thanks Dad and
Maddy for “putting up with me being gone so much and for taking care of Colonel.”

Music (Friends of Riverside Theatre), and Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Starfire Theatre). At
LCT she last appeared as Olive in the award-winning drama The Women of Lockerbie. Toni enjoys
playing piano and spending time with her family. She likes the theatre’s friendly, kind, and talented
people. She thanks the patrons who support this theatre, as well as her husband, Chris, and daughter
Maddy for supporting her and Sonny “doing this show together.”

AARON WHITE (Patrick Dennis, Ages 19-29) is a freshman at La Crescent High School. Other
theatre credits inclue roles in school shows and at Appleseed Community Theatre. At LCT he

He thanks his parents for driving him.

“Where we believe your retirement outcome depends on your retirement income.”

The 2007-2008 Season

“Mame” — Sept. 7-9, 13-16, 20-23. Mame has a wild,
adventurous spirit and believes that life is a banquet. As she
lives life to the fullest, expect to hear some familiar tunes,
particularly “Mame” and “We Need a Little Christmas.” The
book is by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, and music
and lyrics are by Jerry Herman.

“The Mousetrap” — Oct. 19-21, Oct. 25-28, and Nov. 1-4.
Agatha Christie’s mystery takes place in a boarding house,
where a group of strangers is stranded in a snowstorm. One
of them is a murderer. A policeman arrives, and the murders
continue. Whodunnit?

“A Christmas Carol” — Dec. 7-9 and Dec. 14-16. The
miserly Scrooge gets his attitude adjusted by the Ghosts of
Christmas Past, Present, and Future.

“Lend Me a Tenor” — Jan. 18-20, Jan. 24-27, and
Jan. 31-Feb. 3, 2008. This farce by Ken Ludwig is about
the Cleveland Grand Opera Company and the world-famous
tenor who is supposed to open the season there. The tenor is
late. What to do? It involves much slamming of doors and
mistaken identities.

“The Boys Next Door” — Feb. 29-March 2, March 6-9,
and March 13-16, 2008. The play focuses on the lives of
four mentally handicapped men who live in a communal
residence under the watchful eye of their frustrated social
worker.

“The Sound of Music” — April 25-27, May 1-4, and
May 8-11, 2008. With music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics
by Oscar Hammerstein II, you can’t go wrong. The hills will
be alive with the sound of music as the Von Trapp family
flees the Nazis, singing all the way through the Alps.

“The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood” — June 13-15
and June 20-22, 2008. In this comedy, Robin Hood aids a
damsel in distress while evading a sheriff who loves to bowl
and a spoon-wielding band of merry men.
